High quality tea shop near the DB post office. Located in a shopping center with good parking available. Inside you'll find a nice seating/waiting area with a kind of South western decor - kind of like Sedona AZ. Server is very friendly and welcoming. The drinks here seem to be better quality than other places. The drinks have a good tea flavor as the base. We had the Dalgona Cloud Top Kian-im Oolong Latte and the Ember Milktea with barley Jelly. Both were very good, with the Dalgona being more on the sweeter side. The drinks here high quality and creative.

4.5 stars : I understand why I've been hearing about Torotea more lately. They do have different flavors with unique additions. Tried the Ember tea with Barley "boba." It really reminds me of grass jelly, but with a lighter taste - very nice. Also tried the Dalgona tea with the cloud (Himalayan salt) and that one edged out the other as the favorite for me. You can tell they're using good quality ingredients. Came on Sunday afternoon and there was no line, although plenty of people came in and out - popular place! It seems like it's more of a "to-go" place since there are no tables. But there is a "bench" along the walls for people to sit as they wait for their orders. My go-to place is closer to home, but these flavors are unique and worth trying out. I need to try the popcorn tea - apparently that's a popular one.

The Tapiochi toppings are really good!! I really enjoy the bite it gives. I got the black tea tapiochi and it was a subtle flavor but the texture was super nice. The location has a few seating options and the worker at the cashier was really nice. It's in a plaza so there are parking options.

A Unique Experience, But Not Quite Worth the Return This place has been around for a while, but I never visited because the signage outside gives absolutely no indication that it's a bubble tea shop. I only stopped in after a friend's recommendation. Walking in, the music is blasting at a level that's honestly hard on your ears. That said, the interior decor is quite distinctive and has a cozy, comfortable vibe. One thing that surprised me -- and not in a good way -- is that they still use manual ordering instead of the screen-based ordering systems most modern boba shops have adopted. It feels a bit behind the times. Now, the drink itself: the first sip is genuinely impressive. The milk flavor is rich and pronounced, the jelly pieces inside are delicious, and there's a creamy top layer that adds a lovely aroma. It's not overly sweet either, which I appreciated -- for many Asian customers, the sweetness level felt just right. However, the downsides are hard to ignore. There is no customization -- you cannot request less ice or adjust your sugar level, which is pretty standard at most boba shops today. The cup is tiny, roughly the size of a Starbucks short, yet costs over $7. To make matters worse, about half the cup is ice and the rest is mostly milk. After that amazing first sip, the drink starts to feel heavy and cloying. Another frustration: the cream clings to the sides of the cup, making it nearly impossible to enjoy fully. I actually had to pour a separate cup of milk at home just to rinse out the remaining cream -- which felt wasteful. There are also no photos on the menu, so you have no idea what you're ordering before it arrives. Overall, the value just doesn't hold up compared to other options -- like the boba shop inside H Mart, where you can customize your drink and actually see what you're getting. I likely won't be coming back.

Koan-Im Oolong Milk Tea w/Brown Sugar Tapioca Mochi.

One of my current absolute favorites. Normally Milk Teas at my age aren't my go-to, but I'll always make the exception for Torotea. My favorite drink so far is the Koan-Im Oolong Milk Tea (Less Sweet & Regular Ice) w/Brown Sugar Tapioca Mochi. Just the right amount of floral notes & roasted flavor without being too sweet & the brown sugar mochi texture has all the best part about grass jelly & boba all in one. Regular Ice is also just enough ice so that your drink stays refreshingly cold & I actually end up with no leftover ice normally. Parking isn't too bad, vibe is super relaxed, sort of spa vibe with relaxed lighting. Whenever I'm somewhat close, I always drop by for a quick boba! I'm excited for the OC locations later this year/next!

I had heard about Torotea a while ago on TikTok but i knew that it could get pretty packed so i hadn't had the chance to check it out. But last night while in the area i saw they were open late and decided to check it out . Even at 10 pm there was still a huge crowd outside and in. Inside there isn't much seating and it's pretty small but it has a really clean and chic vibe. They had free sample of oolong tea to try and it was really tasty and refreshing. I decided to order the Popcorn milk tea which is their most popular and i was pleasantly surprised. It did smell like butter and had a hint of buttery taste but overall it was really light and refreshing. It also had tapioca squares which were really good. Overall one of the best milk teas I've had and i will be going back for sure.

Talk about aesthetics Did this just secure a spot in my top faves? Yes... yes it did. As a night shifter, late-night cravings are REAL -- so finding a spot that's actually open late? Elite behavior. Sometimes I need my matcha at 8pm and I'm not apologizing for it Tried their Matcha Einspänner and it was a total hit & creamy, bold, and exactly what I needed. This was their San Marino location... next stop: Chino Hills Will definitely be back to try more drinks! Follow me on TikTok for more spots I try! @monicaerikaa

I was recommended to try this place by a couple of my friends so I came around opening! There was already a couple people waiting but the service was pretty fast! Theres no tables and very minimal seating inside. Parking lot outside is free, but small lot! I got the cassia milk to w brown sugar tapiochi with 25% sweet and it was p good! I enjoyed the texture and flavor of the drink overall, but I still found it to be really sweet. Overall it tasted more like a dessert and not super tea forward. It was still really delicious and I would come back when im looking for something sweet!

I've been hearing the hype about Toro Tea for a while and finally decided to see what the buzz was about. I walked in with zero expectations and honestly, that made the experience even better. It didn't just meet the hype, it justified it. First off, I love the ambiance. Torotea leans fully into a wabi-sabi aesthetic; minimalist but warm, modern but intimate. It feels intentional. The space isn't trying too hard to be trendy; it just is. Soft tones, clean lines, and a calm energy that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your drink instead of grabbing it and running out the door. Popcorn Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Tapiochi (5/5) I don't say this lightly but this might be one of the most unique boba drinks I've ever had. I ordered it less sweet, and the balance was still phenomenal. The Assam black tea base came through with a rich, slightly brisk backbone, but what really sets it apart is that buttery, toasted popcorn note that lingers in the best way. It's subtly savory-sweet & elevated. I genuinely need to know how they infuse that buttery twist without it feeling artificial. And the brown sugar tapiochi is amazing! It has a softer, silkier jelly-like texture compared to boba and complements the drink beautifully without overpowering it. Absolute hit. Cassia Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Tapiochi (4.5/5) This one is smooth and comforting in a completely different way. The flavor profile leans warm and aromatic. Think gentle spice, subtle woody sweetness, and a mellow malty depth that rounds everything out. It's less sharp than a typical black tea milk base and instead feels cozy and layered. Since it's non-caffeinated, it drinks more like a spiced milk infusion than a classic tea, which makes it perfect for evenings. Not overly sweet, not heavy. Just balanced and refined. Overall, Toro Tea doesn't feel like just another stop on a boba crawl. It feels crafted. The flavors are thoughtful, the space is intentional, and the experience feels elevated without being pretentious. It deserve all the awards, hype, and attention. Would absolutely come back to explore more of the menu.

My family and I have been here multiple times so this review is long overdue. We visited after Soccer practice on a Monday around 7pm yelp live wait under 5 mins so I didn't check in actually pulled up no wait party of 5. We personally love the Osmanthus tea perfectly sweet with ice add the osmanthus jelly or passion fruit jelly either you can't go wrong! Love how this tea is caffeine free! Popcorn milk tea is also yummy you will certainly enjoy! My niece got the Crème brulee and she enjoyed that she said it was creamy thick and delicious! Employees are super nice and welcoming! Love the vibe inside! Highly recommend Torotea! It will not disappoint friends! Price is on higher side but worth it!

Manor milk tea with black tea tapiochi
    Kristy H.

I know everyone raves about the popcorn milk tea, but I'm telling you the best drink here is the manor milk tea with black tea tapiochi! If you really like just a quality and good milk tea, you have to get this. It's so soothing and has a great tea flavor, and the black tea tapiochi pairs perfectly with it. I'm also a fan of the cassia milk tea for when I don't want any caffeine, and that has a little more of a barley tea flavor, but it's also really good when you just want to drink something that tastes like tea without any of the consequences! Parking at this location is pretty easy -- there's a parking lot with plenty of spaces (much better than the San Marino location).

Came here on a whim and definitely wasn't disappointed. Walked in and immediately was impressed with the ambiance of the place. It is very aesthetically pleasing, they offer samples/tastings of different things and have a pretty big menu. I stopped here because I was particularly looking for something caffeine free and found their cassia milk tea. It was delicious. I tried it with the brown sugar tapioca as it comes and that was soft and tasty. I ended up coming back and trying to soft top which was yummy on it too. Not necessary but delicious. Really glad I spontaneously stopped here !

I love Torotea so much!! If only they sold the popcorn milk tea by the gallon, I would never be dehydrated. If you can't tell by that previous statement, Torotea's popcorn milk tea with brown sugar tapiochi is one of my favorite drinks right now. I usually order two at a time cos I always need one for later. This location is also super aesthetic and almost always busy. I haven't been on a weekend, so thankfully I have not seen the craziest it can get. The staff is sweet, shop is clean but small, and the menu selection is awesome.

I'm a matcha person so I've only ever gotten their matcha, and if not just their strawberry hibiscus (no longer served), herbal tea, and strawberry milk. I love their selection of matcha: strawberry with chunks. One of the best I've had! Their blueberry matcha is pretty delicious also. The customer service is great. Everyone is kind and efficient. I'd say the baristas kind of keep to themselves though and aren't overly enthusiastic. But overall, still welcoming & nice! The atmosphere is simple with wood seating areas. I like it. However sitting for a long duration can be a little uncomfortable since there's not much back support, but luckily they have a basket with padded pillows to sit on. Recently they added tables along the corner nook area which is great! Aside from that they have little tray-like table tops to set your drinks on or laptops/books/etc; while working. There's also plenty of outlets which is a plus. Not to mention they always seem to have a good playlist goin' :) Oh! & they have outside seating as well underneath shaded umbrellas. My only complaint is it gets really hot in there during the hotter months. Especially since they're facing south and catch all the direct light early on in the day. Don't get me wrong, I love the natural lighting! It's just more prone to getting hotter & I'm not sure if they have A/C. I'm sure they probably do but it's never been exactly cold in there like most coffee shops, mainly room temperature. All in all Grid is a great spot! I highly recommend :)

American Express is accepted as a payment option. The staff gave us a number to place on the table we sat at but we were free to grab any seat we liked. For seating, there were a few tables for parties of two and limited tables for bigger groups. Keep in mind if you need water or extra napkins, they'll have those near the bar seating. Both the Pink Vodka Pasta and Rich Miso Pasta exceeded our expectations! The miso pasta leans on the creamy side but pairs very well with the pink vodka pasta. The miso pasta didn't come with any protein by default, so we were glad that we added the Taiwanese sausage. Fun fact is that the meatball from the Pink Vodka Pasta is vegan! The portion size was super generous from both dishes and was beyond just two people. I wasn't expecting to discover pasta dishes that I'd consider as one of my favorites from this visit! I'll definitely come back to try other dishes.

Walking in, the place felt really clean and modern but still cozy. Lots of natural light and you can see all their coffee equipment behind the counter, which made it feel like they actually care about what they're making. I ordered the sweet corn latte (which I was kinda unsure about at first lol) and a matcha scone. The latte ended up being surprisingly good, creamy, and slightly sweet. Not too heavy or overly sweet. The matcha scone had that nice slightly crispy top but soft inside, and the matcha flavor wasn't too strong or bitter. It's a really chill spot, good for catching up with someone or just sitting there with a drink. Nothing felt rushed and the vibe was just easygoing. Overall, simple, clean, and good quality. I'd definitely come back to try more drinks.

Probably would not order again Love the abundance of parking at this location and service was great! People were nice and love that it's super close to Rowland Heights compared to the one on Temple
