I come here once a week with my daughter. We never get sick of it, best tacos hands down. I get the Baja shrimp tacos. The people that work there are always really nice and the food comes out quick. I went this Saturday to this location around 3 pm - basically after lunchtime - there was no line and the girl at the cashier who took my order was sort of distracted and took my order for one Scally Wag taco w/corn tortilla for dine in. First she asked three times if the order was for dine in or to go, which I thought odd but didn't care much about it. I normally order the Baja Shrimp taco but decided to switch it for the Scally Wag. She gave me the tracking device for my order number (but not my ticket) but somehow forgot to set the order in the kitchen. More than 30 minutes passed and when I asked her she realised her mistake, said the taco would be ready in 5 min, 10 min later the taco comes but for to-go. I requested to speak with the manager because I was "hangry" already, she apologized and 10 min late my taco was ready. I found it odd that people with larger orders and parties dining in who arrived after me received their order before me, and the place was not that full to start up with. Anyway, the taco was delicious! However, I was sort of disappointed because I am a big fan and I have visited different locations across Greater Houston so I know what to expect - for example, Rice Village service and quality is subpar, compared to the Vintage Park location. Having said that, I would give it a go but just make sure they give you your ticket and set the order to the kitchen LOL. read more

First visit to this location last night. Sat at the bar around 7 with my wife. We ordered drinks, queso, and each had a taco. Bartender was awesome! Very attentive but not overbearing. Place was pretty busy when we got there but slowed down within an hours time. Took a little long to get our tacos but other than that pretty impressed. We'll definitely be back! read more

This place is awesome. We've been to multiple locations a ton and this one is equally fantastic!! They are great with done in or take out. Even sitting at the bar, great service. I've been to this locations multiple times for to-go orders, and there is always something wrong. It's either part of the order is missing (which you never get refunded for) or the food is ice cold. Honestly there isn't even a point in calling the restaurant to speak to a manager because they'll promise to mail you a gift card to comp you for the item, but you'll never get it. I love Torchy's Tacos. The whole concept of it is amazing and they have an amazing menu. BUT this location is just awful. If you are going to order corn tortitas just don't. They don't fully cook them. I have asked them to fully cook my tortitas because this has happened twice and they still didn't. I hate leaving bad reviews because i know that it affects the establishment, but honestly they have ruined Torchy's for me. They also got our order incorrect . Just bad management. read more

I ordered the trashy Trailer park and crossroads. First one is fried chicken in a fairly large taco and the second is brisket with avocado, cheese, tomato and all the good stuff. Their sauces were pretty good but the queso and chips was amazing as well. They don't give a lot of chips for $6 but it was very tasty. Will be coming back again soon! read more

We used to order food from here every Friday night. Orders were missing items the majority of the time. So we started picking up orders ourselves, thinking we'd have better luck. Nope. We'd get to car and check and almost always had to walk back inside to wait in line and ask for missing items. Food is okay but not worth that hassle. There's too many other great Mexican food places around here that know how to fill orders correctly. How hard can it be? read more

I ordered 2 breakfast tacos, some queso and chips, some nookies and a nice cup of sweet tea. I got my food pretty fast, starting off with chips and queso then my tacos and nookies came next. Nookies are great, but they are way too sweet for my taste! Other than that I was very pleased with my experience here. Definitely coming back! read more

To be honest, I wasn't expecting the world out of this place but it was around the place I work so I decided to just give it a shot. When it comes to flavor, I would say the taste was 4 stars. Tacos I didn't even know existed were on the menu and I wasn't disappointed on portion size (and I like to eat). What I do have an issue with is the way things are ordered. May just be a personal preference, but when it comes to looking at a vast menu such as this one, I'd prefer to sit and look at a menu. The pressure of rushing my order standing in a line gives me an anxious spike in my mood. We let one person ahead so we could fully evaluate the menu and ordered our food. The prices are what kind of downed the rating for me. The tacos are overpriced for sure , but I was prepared to have my socks knocked off so I wasn't being stingy. The margarita I got was delicious and well mixed and the food satisfied my spicy desires, but again THE PRICES! If you'd like to try something new then I would recommend ,but as for me I think I'll settle for classics food truck tacos that are just as tasty. read more

Perfectly perfect tacos. I've had the Mr. Orange, Alabama Shake, and the Migas. I can see myself getting the mr. orange every time I come here.. oh and any of the breakfast tacos (I love my eggs on a taco!!) The service is good, nice spot, and absolutely delicious tacos. I always get 2 tacos, but I have to try real hard to not get a 3rd one. So tempting! Love it! Would definitely recommend. Their sauces are good too. read more

I've been really disappointed the last couple of times I've come to this location. I feel ripped off due the paltry ( very small amount) of brisket that's on my taco. It's about a tablespoon of meat. I am sooooo annoyed by the stingyness of this billion dollar company. I guess that's how they get over by cheating ppl. I've complained several times but I am just sick of them. Also they take phone orders ahead of you if you're in line and the phone rings even though you are at the register. The phone caller skips ahead of you so you have to wait in line even longer. I've been to three locations in the Houston area. The tacos are decent but the service is awful. You will be forgotten.

We have visited this Torchy's twice and can't wait to go back. The staff is great, especially at the bar. The food is delicious. Their trailer park queso is ridiculous. Yum. With drink specials everyday you are sure to have fun. Try a different taco each visit. they are all amazing. read more

Food was not quite up to par with EVERY single other Torchy's I have ever been to. Also, they charged me for two tacos when there was only one type of that taco ordered. I brought up the issue after reviewing the receipt, and they claimed that they refunded me, which was never received. 10/10 make the drive to a different Torchy's. Very pissed. read more

This is the best torchys in the area ! I have two closer to me but I prefer this one so much the drive doesnt bother me. All the employees are very nice and very friendly with customers. Ordered food to go order taker got that wrong, waited 45 minutes for order came out not complete and for in dining eating. Server took order back said nothing. Waited for order , finally went to counter asked for refund waited for manager. Manager couldn't even get refund correct kept the tip on my dinner I will dispute with my CC company. One star is for how delicious it is. The lack of 5 stars is because of how slow it is. I ordered online and it was ready for pick up at 6:30. It's 7:00 and my order still isn't ready. This is absolutely ridiculous. Not worth the tacos. No matter how delicious they are. Wish they had better service because they are close by, but with zoes kitchen and chickfila next door it's not worth it. Update: when I got the tacos they were cold!!!!! Cold!!!!!!! And if that doesn't make it not worth going back, the fact that they got my order wrong is!!!!! Cold food that was incorrect that I waited 30 min on after ordering online for a quick grab n go. I love Torchy's after eating it for several years in Austin so I was glad to see more stores opening in Houston. We placed our to go order at the new store in Spring, and it's been about 30-40 minutes and still waiting for 1 taco with chips and queso.. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is that they gave us a $5 card. I will probably not dine in at this location for the poor service. I usually get togo and ask for extra tortillas on the side because they put a lot of meat in the tacos, but they didn't put my extra tortillas, forgot the most important part which is the salsa and it is very disappointing to come home and to find out there is no salsa. The food is very good and the guacamole is the best I have had. My only issue with this establishment are to go orders. When I place a to go order for my family, something tends to be wrong. One three seperate occasions, I pointed out how one or two tacos were not prepared properly and the worker took them back in to the kitchen and brought them out telling me they were corrected. I get home to find out nothing was done. Now, I have to ALAWAYS check the order no matter what they say or how many times they take it back. This is the worst run Torchy's I've ever been to!!! Every time we come either our order is wrong or it takes forever. Today they ran out of queso and we waited over 30 minutes and then people that came in after us got theirs first. I would rather drive into the woodlands than come to this location!
