I had a good experience at sofy's taqueria. The food was good& the service was ok. I got the tree taco plate. The barbacoa and alpastor tacos were both really great. I liked the refried beans and rice too. Food was really delicious The ambiance & service were just ok. It was a fully outdoor taco food truck, but it was a little hot & parking was a bit limited. After seeing all the good reviews about this little hidden (or not so hidden) gem in this case, I had to give it a try and see for myself and I regret nothing. The guy that takes your order is and very patient because I took my time going over the menu as it was my first time there. I ordered the steak and egg, ham and egg breakfast tacos and a fajita taco just to try a bit of everything. The tacos themselves were tasty, and the salsas they have available are very good as well! The minute I walked up I was greeted with a big smile, I let them know I was from out of town and the next thing I knew I was giving a taco to sample! I was in search of a breakfast taco near the woodlands. I found this place which is not far from the freeway. I ordered 6 tacos, 2 chorizo, 2 potato and 2 sausage. The chorizo had the most flavor. You can add items to your taco for an additional fee. Service was fast and some what friendly. I was disappointed you only get one salsa (choice of spicy or mild) for two tacos... additional salsa 25cents each. If I am in the hood, I would go back. read more

After seeing all the great reviews I was excited to try out this Taco Truck. I was severely disappointed and wasted alot of money. First, the burrito had the wrong meat, which was quickly corrected...but instead of making fresh, she just scooped out the burrito and put new stuff in i leaving remnants of the other.. The burrito had very little pork in the end, was open on both sides and just all fell out. The tortillas are unbelievably thick. The meat itself was very subpar, did not taste fresh at all and the "steak" fajita tasted like and had the consistency of groumd beef.
