Ordered breakfast tacos to go yesterday morning from here. Unfortunately I was unable to snap a pic since it was for customers and we had to serve and eat quick. Tacos ordered: Chorizo and egg, egg and potato, bacon and egg, bean and cheese and Mexican with chorizo and egg burritos. I've no idea how the ratings are where they are. The food was so greasy I had to wonder is this truly Mexican? The burritos were on individual plates soaked in chorizo grease, I'd never serve it that way unless you want someone to be in the bathroom all day. Tacos were all the same except the Mexican style. Premade salsa packets didn't taste homemade and were highly vinegary. I wasn't given the bean and cheese we paid for and it was too late to address by the time I got back and unpacked the tightly wound bag received. Skip in my book. Service- I have come here pretty frequently over the last couple of years but I won't no longer be returning. Generally I overlook when there is a couple of issues with my order maybe something didn't show up or whatever, but this time we had missing items and also an incorrect order. When I called, I was told I needed to bring back the item as proof in order to fix it. No problem, I brought the food back completely untouched about an hour later after we had completely eaten (had to feed the kids) and a refund was not granted only a replacement. If we hadn't had to make alternative plans, this would have been acceptable, but in their eyes they would not do any replacement and we are stuck with soggy nachos an hr after dinner and out $15 with tip. I was very disappointed in how the manager Leo handled everything and all this could have been fixed with either refunding us and a credit in the future. Bummer and a reason not to spend $50 bucks for a takeaway dinner plus tip. Food- honestly, this place is just okay. We have gone here over and over again because it is quick in and out and it is better than taco bell. However, after the last interaction, I will not be returning. Parking- they have a standalone restaurant that has no seating.You basically grab and go in your car. Value- 3 plates 40+ dollars. We ordered the gordita with fajita--amazing. Crunchy outside, the masa was flavorful, and the beans were satisfying. 2 corn tacos- 1 fajita- kinda fatty, and 1 barbacoa- unappetizing. The flavor on the barbacao taco reminded me of fajita marinada in a Michoacana. When you buy the meat, and it's coated in that red "sauce"... yeah... not good at all. Last was the queso birria plate.
