After driving past this place time and time again, finally gave it a try! Delicious! I can't remember a single piece of meat that felt textured wrong (piece of fat). I like how their little green salsas come in packages too, convenient!! Wish they came with frijoles charros like the place down the street buuuuuuut, still great! I have been hooked on this place for months and months!!!! Birria tacos are the best I've had so far. The birria ramen WAS chefs kiss. I don't know why all of a sudden the ramen was changed to this red, NO flavor or hint of spiciness broth. It really sucks. It's like drinking red water with grease in it. Why would you change it when it was perfect before. And sadly when it was the perfect broth, it was inconsistent with heat level. If we ordered at 1 am we got the spiciest, make your nose run, breathe fire broth (that was the BEST) but during the day, it was mild but still good and flavorful. My most recent order arrived without salsa, which made the meal fall a bit flat. Their opening times have also been inconsistent, making it tough to plan a visit or place online orders. With new taco trucks popping up nearby that seem to be drawing crowds, I hope they'll step up on the consistency and service, as I'd love to keep supporting them. On the brighter side, their horchata is delicious, though adding a production date would be a nice touch for freshness. Tried out the Norteño Pizza with the family because it sounded different & looked so good. It completely satisfied my craving for authentic-tasting Mexican cuisine & Pizza. A 3 out of 5 is pushing it honestly. We saw a long line waiting in the parking lot so decided to try it. We ordered after waiting in line for 15 minutes and waited for our food about 35 minutes. To our disappointment, the food was not that great. The tortillas for our tacos were not even hot - definitely not cooked. They tasted like they had just been pulled out of a store bought package cold and served. The saving grace was the quesabirria i ordered. It was good. Very greasy but good. We spent over $60 for our family to eat here. There are not that many places in Spring that advertise having authentic Mexican. This place unfortunately ain't it. They don't even make it easy to pay. I've ordered from this place at least 5 times in the past 2 weeks. Their birria quesadillas are BOMB!! The birria tacos would've been better with one less tortilla but that's a personal preference. I lived in south Texas for 6 years, and I have tried a lot of great tasting, authentic Mexican food. This place has some of the best tasting, most authentic Mexican food that I have tasted so far here in Spring. My boyfriend is Mexican and he absolutely LOVES this place too.
