Late night stop in for some tacos. Set at the bar. Great service. We ordered the taco of the month - The Tailgator. It was good, maybe a lil too much bleu cheese for me but i liked it over all

It's just Torchy's honestly, if you're from Texas you already know and love your order. Something's that I tried that were different than usual were the "damn good tots" and the churros. The churros were too sweet but the tots were AMAZING:"they really are that damn good."

Crossroads

The food was definitely a 7.5 out of 10. I would definitely be going back to try some more tacos. The trailer park was good. Had a little spice to it. I like the sauce that they give you as well. The crossroads was also good. They give you enough meat so you can be full of two tacos and they're not corn tortilla there flour. The service was really good. The lady at the register was really nice. The ambience is whatever you make it. They have a bar in there. You can also bring your family. Kids can come as well.

A different vibe of the traditional Tex-Mex soft tacos are served at this taco shack. Our party of three ordered various proteins in our tacos. All were served in soft flour tortillas. We had barbacoa, smoked brisket, pulled pork, beef fajitas, and fried avocado. There were generous amount of proteins and cheese in each taco. With the exception of the beef fajata, all were nicely seasoned and cooked. The beef fajata was just a touch under seasoned, but cooked well. The flour tortilla itself tasted just ok. It didn't feel, look, or tasted like it was freshly made on site. We also ordered refried beans for our side. The beans were smooth and tasty. Prices were higher than the traditional taco shacks and tanqurias, but the quality and quantity justified the higher costs. Counter service was friendly and foods came out quick.

Baja Shrimp & Trailer Park tacos.

If you are in the mood for good tacos, then you have to visit here. Had the Trailer Park, Baja Shrimp, Brushfire, and Chicken Fajita tacos and they didn't disappoint. All of them were delicious.

Scallywag (4/5)

I don't dine here too often, so do when I do come, it's because I have a particular craving. I usually have a pretty positive experience, but this time was a little bit rough. I stopped by on a weekend afternoon. The restaurant wasn't too busy at that time. Parking was easy, usually it's pretty crazy in this area but I found a spot as soon as I pulled in. I didn't really encounter any extra friendly staff members, but the person that took my order was nice. Can't say that I won't be back, maybe I just will try another location as I've typically had a good experience with this restaurant. Democrat (3/5) - I ordered this with no avocado, but they put avocado on there anyway. It also had a hair in it. Trailer park - trashy (3/5) - it was fine. Nothing spectacular, but it did the job. Scallywag (4/5) - This taco of the month was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed the flavor of the coconut shrimp. My only note would be is that they put a lot of pickled onions on it. Easy fix though I just took most of them off. Churros (1/5) - the biggest disappointment. I don't expect food to look just like the photos, but these were like the light skin version of the picture online. They were chewy in the middle, most of them split apart, and most of the cinnamon sugar was at the bottom of the bag. After a couple bites, I them away. I was excited about them, especially since I asked the cashier their thoughts, and they told me that they were really good.

A friend and I stopped in for tacos and happy hr. I had the sangria with was $2 off, and it was super yummy. Aome sangria can be dry, but this was ia sweet and refreshing. Brushfire 9/10 jerk chicken and mango combo absolutely delicious Wrangler: 8/10 breakfast taco Mr. Orange 10/10 salmon taco yum I love their hillbilly queso, but I didn't get it this visit. This location I really enjoy. It has fresh parking, nice seating options, and a pond. If it wasn't raining, I would have sat on the patio.

Queso

It's a solid taco, but a little pricey. The queso is great and quite filling. The Baja shrimp is a classic staple, the crossroads is light and cooked well, and the trashy trailer park is a smidge greasy. A great taco spot, but the price is a bit too much for me now. Cheers!

Torchys is a gem! I got the trailer park trash, shrimp taco and crossroads. The crosssroads with the brisket was my favorite for sure! Maybe the best part was having the play area for the kids to run around after dinner. They all 4 ran around long enough to be drenched in sweat!

Great food and a beautiful location by the lake at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch. Favorite items for us at the trailer park chicken taco and the beef fajita. Fast service but always busy though we had no trouble getting tables.

KATY, TX 77494 / MEXICAN / 04-16-23 / LUNCH +The customer service at this Torchy's location was good. +The green chile queso dip is a must-order. +Plenty of indoors/outdoors seating, but parking can be challenging depending on the day. +Loyalty rewards app. -High sodium levels.

Fried avocado

Great place to get a quick taco! I had the fried avocado taco which I found to be super yummy- my only complaint is that on the menu it said it came with corn tortilla but it came out on flour- I still ate it and still liked it but I prefer corn. The queso was good too, nice a creamy with good chips. Service is counter so just typical. Plenty of seating available and I notice they have drink specials everyday.

Wanted to get a quick bite so I decided to try Torchys. Menu was easy to read with lots of tacos and sides to pick from. They have their calories on their menu which is always a plus. I was impressed when the tacos came out, they looked delicious. My first bite was filled with juicy, soft, flavorful salmon for my Mr. Orange which was my favorite taco that I got. I would come back!

Looking for fire tacos? Look no further than Taco Fuego! Finally a place that lives up to its name…read moreand reputation, Taco Fuego is top tier! Let's start with location, Taco Fuego has 5 locations to choose from. A mixture of store front and taco trucks. I decided to stop at their Katy location (taco truck) located at 1005 Katy fort bend road. This truck was very easy to find. My husband and I really wanted give this place a try for a couple reasons, 1. Every picture you see on IG makes your mouth water lol. 2. Their meat is fresh and locally sourced! The truck itself is nice, and clean. Also has a little Led sign that says catch tacos not feelings super cute for an IG photo. Service was quick, friendly and informative. We ordered a few different tacos to try: The Quesabirria Taco~ Birria or chicken, cheese, limes, cilantro and pickled onions on a corn tortilla. This one was really good and it definitely has a bit of a kick. The meat is so flavorful you do not need to add any additional sauces. The Barbacoa Taco~ Beef Barbacoa, cilantro, onions and salsa verde on a corn tortilla. This one was in the top 2 for me. Yum!! That beef was cooked to perfection! The Texan Taco~ brisket, Monterey Jack cheese, corn, cilantro, pickled onions and creamy cilantro on a flour tortilla. My husband inhaled it. Lolol. I got a tiny bite and it was very good. All of the flavors worked together so well! The Shrimp Taco~ my absolute favorite! Fried Shrimp, Monterey Jack Cheese, Sour Cream and Cajun sauce on a flour tortilla. The shrimp was fire. Perfectly seasoned. I don't know what they put in that Cajun sauce but they need to bottle it so I can take it home! Other things to note: Everything is halal They offer a veggie taco option They offer more than tacos. Ex: Ramen, Burgers, pupusas, empanadas, flautas and tamales. Churros for dessert! Drinks include: Horchata, lemonade and Cantaloupe. Be prepared to dine in your car.

Tacos were good. They loaded them up with meat which I…read moreappreciate. Definitely made it feel worth the 3.75$. The birria was probably the best item. But overall good experience.

The tacos and food from all various South American countries. It's insane. Drink: Cheapest margaritas in Houston. Literally. Atmosphere: It's a shopping center but the kindest most authentic South American/Mexican people work here. Service: Denzel is a gent- however so is everyone else. South Americans are the most hospitable culture around. Thank me later.

We were the first customers on a Dec 6th, Saturday morning…read more All of the front end staff was sitting at a table, cracking up to the point where I thought they were diners of the restaurant because of how comfortable they were. And after taking our drink order and bringing our drinks, the friendly waitress went to sit down and play on her cell phone. The problem was we needed napkins. Napkins weren't on the table nor were they self service. Since she was playing on her cell phone, she wasn't doing her table rounds to be available to ask for napkins. Chips and salsa can naturally be messy. All it takes is one little boo-boo with salsa, and it splatters on the table. After what felt like 5 to 10 minutes, she eventually came back around to take our food order, but her lack of attention and behavior had already messed up the customer service experience. The real crime here is the food flavor itself. I ordered the taco mix. This is a simple way to judge the restaurant by its protein flavor. Each street size taco allowed a glimpse into the seasoning and preparation of their food. The El Pastor was lacking flavor. There was only one tiny pineapple tidbit. The Birria taco just has bad seasoning. The Carne Asada that had no sear or color, so it was gray and mushy. Cheese, crema, and avocado cannot make up for meat that doesn't taste good. While the server was friendly, it doesn't make up for the fact that the food itself is bad. And when you think about how tacos are so easy to make if all it involves is seasoning, a protein and cooking it. They're botching up simple cooking techniques and use bad recipes. The street cart concept is certainly fun. We did the churro cart, and it was fun to see the sparkler. The birthday girl liked the music and the churro experience. The Nutella chocolate is too firm so it doesn't really stick to the churro as well. It would be better if they made a Nutella sauce then straight up ultra thick Nutella. The cajeta was a bit sour because it's goat milk, not cows milk. I would prefer a caramel over cajeta. The best dipping sauce was the condensed milk. To their credit, the churros were fresh and piping hot. Still, this isn't the kind of place I would not want to return to for the simple fact that the food was not good. These kinds of dining experiences make you think I'm better off, cooking at home then driving to the restaurant, settling for so so service, paying for mediocre food. I wish restaurants collectively needed to pass some kind of flavor standard or cooking consistency to earn a restaurant license because at this rate mediocre food is being served, and the customer is not the wiser until they sit down and taste it. It also surprises me that these kinds of places can survive for years and years through serving mediocre food. I can't recommend it. I wouldn't return.
