Late night stop in for some tacos. Set at the bar. Great service. We ordered the taco of the month - The Tailgator. It was good, maybe a lil too much bleu cheese for me but i liked it over all

It's just Torchy's honestly, if you're from Texas you already know and love your order. Something's that I tried that were different than usual were the "damn good tots" and the churros. The churros were too sweet but the tots were AMAZING:"they really are that damn good."

The food was definitely a 7.5 out of 10. I would definitely be going back to try some more tacos. The trailer park was good. Had a little spice to it. I like the sauce that they give you as well. The crossroads was also good. They give you enough meat so you can be full of two tacos and they're not corn tortilla there flour. The service was really good. The lady at the register was really nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is whatever you make it. They have a bar in there. You can also bring your family. Kids can come as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A different vibe of the traditional Tex-Mex soft tacos are served at this taco shack.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our party of three ordered various proteins in our tacos. All were served in soft flour tortillas. We had barbacoa, smoked brisket, pulled pork, beef fajitas, and fried avocado. There were generous amount of proteins and cheese in each taco. With the exception of the beef fajata, all were nicely seasoned and cooked. The beef fajata was just a touch under seasoned, but cooked well. The flour tortilla itself tasted just ok. It didn't feel, look, or tasted like it was freshly made on site. We also ordered refried beans for our side. The beans were smooth and tasty. Prices were higher than the traditional taco shacks and tanqurias, but the quality and quantity justified the higher costs. Counter service was friendly and foods came out quick.

I don't dine here too often, so do when I do come, it's because I have a particular craving. I usually have a pretty positive experience, but this time was a little bit rough. I stopped by on a weekend afternoon. The restaurant wasn't too busy at that time. Parking was easy, usually it's pretty crazy in this area but I found a spot as soon as I pulled in. I didn't really encounter any extra friendly staff members, but the person that took my order was nice. Can't say that I won't be back, maybe I just will try another location as I've typically had a good experience with this restaurant. Democrat (3/5) - I ordered this with no avocado, but they put avocado on there anyway. It also had a hair in it. Trailer park - trashy (3/5) - it was fine. Nothing spectacular, but it did the job. Scallywag (4/5) - This taco of the month was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed the flavor of the coconut shrimp. My only note would be is that they put a lot of pickled onions on it. Easy fix though I just took most of them off. Churros (1/5) - the biggest disappointment. I don't expect food to look just like the photos, but these were like the light skin version of the picture online. They were chewy in the middle, most of them split apart, and most of the cinnamon sugar was at the bottom of the bag. After a couple bites, I them away. I was excited about them, especially since I asked the cashier their thoughts, and they told me that they were really good.

A friend and I stopped in for tacos and happy hr. I had the sangria with was $2 off, and it was super yummy. Aome sangria can be dry, but this was ia sweet and refreshing. Brushfire 9/10 jerk chicken and mango combo absolutely delicious Wrangler: 8/10 breakfast taco Mr. Orange 10/10 salmon taco yum I love their hillbilly queso, but I didn't get it this visit. This location I really enjoy. It has fresh parking, nice seating options, and a pond. If it wasn't raining, I would have sat on the patio.

It's a solid taco, but a little pricey. The queso is great and quite filling. The Baja shrimp is a classic staple, the crossroads is light and cooked well, and the trashy trailer park is a smidge greasy. A great taco spot, but the price is a bit too much for me now. Cheers!

If you are in the mood for good tacos, then you have to visit here. Had the Trailer Park, Baja Shrimp, Brushfire, and Chicken Fajita tacos and they didn't disappoint. All of them were delicious.

Torchys is a gem! I got the trailer park trash, shrimp taco and crossroads. The crosssroads with the brisket was my favorite for sure! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Maybe the best part was having the play area for the kids to run around after dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They all 4 ran around long enough to be drenched in sweat![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great food and a beautiful location by the lake at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Favorite items for us at the trailer park chicken taco and the beef fajita. Fast service but always busy though we had no trouble getting tables.

Great place to get a quick taco! I had the fried avocado taco which I found to be super yummy- my only complaint is that on the menu it said it came with corn tortilla but it came out on flour- I still ate it and still liked it but I prefer corn. The queso was good too, nice a creamy with good chips. Service is counter so just typical. Plenty of seating available and I notice they have drink specials everyday.

I have been a customer of the Taco Fuego food truck in Katy for over a year and have always enjoyed…read morethe food and service. Unfortunately, my experience yesterday was so unacceptable that I will never return. When placing my order, the employee taking my order appeared intoxicated. His eyes were drooping and closing, he repeatedly paused, mumbled, and seemed to struggle entering my order. Although this was concerning, I chose to overlook it and waited patiently. After about 10 minutes, I simply returned to ask whether my order had been placed and if it was ready. I was not upset, in a hurry, or complaining. I only wanted confirmation that my order existed because the employee kept responding, "No orders, no orders," despite me showing him my receipt. Due to an apparent language barrier, I called my Hispanic husband and handed the employee my phone so he could ask the same simple question in Spanish. Instead of helping, the employee began yelling at my husband. Another employee joined in, and both started yelling while walking away with my phone. When the phone was returned, I still had no idea what had happened or whether my order was being prepared. The situation escalated for no reason. The employees began yelling at me, aggressively slammed the service windows shut, ignored me, and treated me as if I had done something wrong. I remained calm throughout the entire interaction and repeatedly stated that there was no problem--I simply wanted to know if my order had been placed. Eventually, the food was thrown together carelessly, shoved into a bag, and handed to me with obvious hostility. The food quality was terrible, and the customer service was even worse. What disappointed me most was that this entire situation was completely unnecessary. I was respectful, patient, and simply asking a basic question. The combination of an employee who appeared intoxicated, the aggressive and unprofessional behavior from both employees, and the poor quality of the food made this one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.

I've gotten the food here a few times over the last few years but the service my wife received today was ridiculous and unprofessional. Antonio was present and can vouch for what happened. My wife approached, looked at the menu, and called for my order. At that time the man in the truck pulled the tip jar in behind the window and then moved away from the window when my wife tried to order. Another person (antonio) had to take my wife's order. Bad enough. After she ordered and went to wait in the car a hispanic young man arrived, the same guy put the tip jar back out and took his order with no issue. We won't be back. We go out of our way to support food trucks and the birria ramen is good enough. The guys in the truck are even fighting, slamming items, and throwing things at each other in front of customers. This is at 3:20 PM on June 16th. One of the guys is/was bleeding and this is just a bad day all around. The food is good, the meat is always savory and juicy. Really depends on who you get cooking. Either way I don't appreciate how my wife was treated and I want to believe this was just a bad day. Things to consider. Good atmosphere and solid food truck experience.

It's a pretty big menu but I thought the price for the tacos was a little much considering how small they are. The food was delicious and the aguas frescas were very refreshing. I can see people ordering at least 5 tacos at a time lol. I had the fajita/chicken mix plate and it certainly hit the spot. They are open until 2AM on Saturdays so I can see how this place would be popping. It's got great vibes with outdoor picnic tables and heaters as well as a covered seating area.
