I always come for Taco Tuesday's $1.25 Special! No matter how many I get, it's always takes under 10 minutes! The vibe in there is amazing. Really quick, easy & cheap meal to grab. My go to is the Nopales but I branched out and tried the Baja Fish Taco and omg I was missing out. Granted it wasn't on the $1.25 menu but it was so worth it! It was $4. Don't know why I ordered again here. Texas burrito was pure pure grease. Grease was coming out like water. Just order a bowl of flavored grease. Also ordered beef and chicken fajitas, the meat is not fajita meat, it's taco meat and also full of old orange salty grease. My cat would not even eat any of it. Pretty sad as this is another Katy establishment that fell far from where they started. There is a Taquiria at chevron on cobia drive and Kingsland drive 3 minutes away that makes custom burritos with love and amazing without the soppy grease. A little but not like this place, very disgusting here and just go somewhere else, not worth it. Grab n go should be grease n low. They don't care about their product here. I've been here over a thousand times over the last 2 years. No joke. My FAVORITE taco spot in Texas. Everytime I go they're consistent, clean and the food is always fresh. Their Ranchero Soup is my go to and the California Burrito with Fried Chicken. Always a 10/10 on both. My husband always gets the California Burrito with Brisket or Chicken, again 10/10. First time comer here. They serve very delicious Mexican cuisine! Personally, I love tacos they are very good and delightful! Each taco costs $3.99 and the quantity is rather small but tastes great! If you wanna fill yourself up then nacho could be a good option but personally I like tacos more! Horrible experience. After a long day, me and my husband decided to stop at Grab N Go Tacos to get a to go order. My husband went in and ordered. We got home and realized they left out a whole order of our street tacos. I was obviously frustrated. I called them and explained what happened and I was met with nothing but rudeness and They even implied that I was lying that the street tacos were missing. I tried to tell them that I wouldn't drive my car all the way back up to their establishment just to get some free tacos. When I got there to pick up the tacos, the hostess didn't say anything to me. She gave me an extremely rude look, and handed me the tacos. I will never come back here again. That type of customer service is awful. Their parking lot was empty and I see why. read more

The service was okay. New to the area and ONLY came due to some of the reviews. It wasn't busy entering the restaurant. I ordered online for pick up. I wouldn't order again due to the barbacoa tacos being made with egg. I NEVER seen a barbacoa taco made with egg. According to the girls upfront said that's how they were made. But I'm sure online I asked for no egg just barbacoa. My husband ordered a carne guisada plate and instead got picadillo tacos. The one thing I order was the burrito made with chorizo,egg,bacon and beans. Of course made how they wanted and added jalapeños. Not sure why online to order you're asked how you want your tacos made but get what they want to put in the tacos or burrito. I didn't ask for jalapeños due to it being for the kids but it got eaten. I lived in California for years and have been to lots of taco joints and this place really stands out. Every time I visit Texas, this place is a must for me and my family to get my fix! The service is really the highlight of going there. It's easy to find a place with rude staff, but the staff here is super friendly and knows the menu really well. Every time I've been there, the staff has been very attentive and always go out of their way to help me. The food comes out quick and the dining area is always clean. I've had the tacos, quesabirria, quesadillas, burritos and tres leches. They have never disappointed me. This is a new spot we just discovered during COVID-19. We came here twice and each time the food is super delicious. We usually come on Tuesday because they have the taco Tuesday special where street tacos are two dollars. They have many tacos to choose from like barbacoa, chicken, and beef. The tacos are delicious. We also get the Baja shrimp tacos but they are not included in sale. The service was good and the restaurant was very clean. Marketing FTW! I turned in here so fast when I saw that taco Tuesday sign on the side of the building while on my way to Trader Joe's! I mean straight burning rubber... Now they lose a star for marketing them as $1.25. Some meats are, ie. different variations of chicken, pastor but the steak, barbacoa are $1.75. Barbacoa is my fav so I went on and paid that extra buck for two. They didn't put nearly enough meat in the barbacoa tacos. I mean one was scarce as hell. Very good tasting but at that price, gon make sure I have more than a tablespoon of meat. I also ordered a chicken tinga which was good but I felt like it could use some kind of kick with the seasoning. The pastor was tender and not overcooked which I was pleasantly surprised since most times I've tried it (other places), the meat was tough and dry. Definitely quick service and hardly any wait time after ordering but their traffic was light but steady when I went, roughly 7pm-ish. read more

We were traveling through and stopped at Costco nearby for gas when we saw the grab and go Taco. The service was friendly and quick- appears to be a family run business. Restaurant and facilities were clean. All tacos made fresh with fresh ingredients. 3 tacos is about the perfect portion. They also have agua frescas and margaritas ( i sure wanted one but we were driving...). Six tacos, 2 drinks and 15%tip our bill was about $32.00. Appears they have a $1.25 Taco Tuesday.. too bad it was Wednesday! My husband really like his Baja shrimp taco and one he has with fried chicken called the roadrunner. The food is good. Pretty good to be honest. Prices are not so great considering how small the tacos are. Torchys or velvet tacos are better and bigger and Worth the price. Here you're paying the same prices for something smaller and not as good. But don't get me wrong, thefood was good, and the service was ok. The girls working there could be more welcoming. Ambiance is not bad either, at leas to me... the one thing I DID NOT LIKE, was the fact that I went to the restroom, and the soap there was watered down. To the point that it was literally more water than soap. My hands did not even feel clean after using 5 pumps of soap, well better yet said, water, because that's what it was... now this made me really upset because the cooks need to have their hands clean and using extremely water down soap does not make them clean. So in essence, all the cooks hands are dirty even after washing their hands. Being cheap on the soap that not only staff but also customers use is a seriously bad issue for me. The owner as well as management need to fix this asap. I went again a week later to see if it was a one time thing and it was not. Needless to say, I did not order anything a left.it disgusts me when restaurant owners or manager water down soap. That's just ridiculous. I bet the houston health department would not give this place a good rating just for the fact that they water down soap to the point it's water. If you don't believe me. Check the soap in the restroom first before ordering. And yes the staff use the same restrooms. There is no other restroom. So for that I give this place a 1 star.
