Just a heads up before you go. Make a reservation or else you'll be waiting for hours. Me and my girlfriend went here on a Thursday at 11:30 for a walk in because online it said "15 minute wait time". That sounded fine to us, so after driving half hour to get there we got a different response. When I told the front desk we were a walk in they said we were looking at a 2 hour wait and I said "online it said 15 minutes?" Then everyone in unison said "our system isn't updating". I think they should fix that system since I saw many other people come in and have the same issue. We said we'll put our name in and wait for a text. We started to drive away to kill some time then after 15 minutes I receive a text saying "our bay is ready and to text back to confirm". I confirmed and we came back and texted "HERE". After waiting for a response the guy at the front told us we should get a text back in 1-3 minutes. The time goes by and no text. I ask again they say give it 5-10 minutes. 10 minutes go by and still no text. So I check with the front desk and they tell me it should be just another 10-15 minutes. 15 minutes goes by and still nothing so I go up to the front desk again. They also had nowhere to sit while waiting since every floor had the seating closed off due to a "private event" that we never saw in our whole time there so we just had to stand waiting in the lobby. I told them I received the text saying our bay is ready over 40 minutes ago and they said that was strange. Someone goes to the back to check with someone and when she comes back, she says I'll be getting a text soon. I asked how soon and was told "30-40 minutes". I asked to have my name taken off the list and we left. It was just disappointing since we were looking forward to our time there and the wait time online was wrong, the text saying our bay was ready was wrong, and we didn't get any sort of accommodation after being told we would need to wait another 30-40 minutes. My dissatisfaction came from the incorrect wait time posted online and how we were told our bay was "ready" which roped us back into waiting. I guess they weren't lying about the two hour wait time. Anyways, save yourself the time and either make a reservation ahead of time or don't go. This was on a Thursday at noon so I can only imagine what weekends are like. read more

Food was good. Staff still working out bugs in the system. Management was horrible with accommodating to equipment and software failures when u have to pay $5 membership fee per person no matter what and $45 per hour. When we finished playing my bill was $195.00 and I tipped $50 because server was great, Guillermo. Too bad management was horrible. Jury is still out on this place pending improved system and management attitude. read more

Overall, pretty bad experience, poorly managed, terrible service and just not a fun time. Most of the staff members are trying hard and friendly which I truly appreciate but lack of training is very clear. Of this was the first top golf in the US I'd understand, unfortunately that's not the case. Probably will never back to this location which is a shame being a local. read more

If I could give zero stars and still leave this review I would. Do not even bother getting online before the 6am release of times if you want an evening bay. I can only assume they are 100% booked with groups. The problem I have is with the employees. They know this information in advanced. I can't be the very first person to call about available times and what time they are released. I called and was told that the time slots open up at 6am 1 week in advanced and I would have a chance. I cannot believe that there are that many people getting online to push the "search" tab at exactly 6 am to get these slots. If you are fully booked or possibly have one bay available and many people calling then just be honest with possible customers. read more

This compares favorably with other Top Golf. I've played Vegas and Several others. You can only make reservations 1 week in advance & online reservations open at 6 am PST. However, I've tried to book right at 6 am and no luck. Most of the bays are for "walk ins" you need to double the wait time they tell you BTW.. they need to fix this!! Food and drinks are reasonable. $7 beer and $13 cocktails. Staff is friendly. Place is clean. read more

JT was amazing second best part aside from the nice course. Great service. Great vibes thanks to him.

Came in to play golf and the manger Karen was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I will never return to this location. Top Golf should probably consider training their management team on customer service. Very disappointing and very unfortunate! read more

A group of 5 of us arrived on a Friday night around 8:30pm. We were told that the wait time was going to be an 1.5-2 hours, which was understandable so we decided to wait. The below are the reasons why this place did not impress me. - No initial text confirmation, and we waited more than 2 hours. - Most of the bar tables had signs that said "reserved" for no apparent reason. These tables were not reserved for anyone. - The finger food took more than an hour to come out. - Location is near a plant that emits a smell like dead fish. - Staff are not properly trained. - The white hole sensors were not working! Positives: - The bartenders were really nice! - The place was clean. read more

Too long a wait. 5 hours. No organization. Wish I could rate better. Not gonna happen until they add limits to the lanes.

Chris was the best and big Phil they made our experience worth wild I'll be coming back!!

Parking is horrible. A customer used his kid to stand in the middle of a parking spot to hold it for him while doing who knows what. Security saw this and did nothing. Not worth fighting over so I left. Just shows you money doesn't buy class. These people prove it. They should be sent back to miniature golf until they learn some manners. read more

Been coming here since it opened up. Never had a bad experience. But last night October 22nd was the opposite of it. We checked in to get a bay and was told we may need to wait 3 hours. Which is pretty common. So our party decided to waiting in the tables and get some and drinks. To get our order it took a while. Then when someone finally helped us the food and drinks took over an hour to be served to us. Seemed like some of the food wasn't as warm anymore. We order more drinks and it took a long time. After we got a text that our bay was ready.I think we waited 2 hours for it. When settling in at our bay, We ordered more drinks. It took the sever an hour to get our drinks. When we asked him if we could another order round because it was taking so long to get our first order he had and attitude. What is going on at this location. Topgolf staff please get it together. read more

Top Golf Austin knows how to provide customer service. This location is new but has been open for 2 months. They have a long way to go on communication, speed of service, and overall customer service. They need to raise their game with their staff, especially the on site Managers. Total Ripoff. Tried to make a reservation a week in advance (for a Wednesday at 4 pm). None available. Not to worry, the app says just show up and the wait time is estimated to be 15 minutes. So my daughter and I go there with friends, the guy at the front says its a minimum 2 1/2 hour wait for a booth. Thats BS. They won't be getting my business anytime soon. Ugh. This place is a bit frustrating. I called ten times over the last few weeks for a surprise birthday we are trying to host this week. Everyone I spoke to gives different answers like no one knows what's going on. In the end after being given the run around they now inform me I need reservations 2 weeks in advance. I call today and again explain I need two bays for Thursday next to each other and she just says yeah on the weekends that's impossible, I again repeat for Thursday and she just keeps saying the same things like no one was of any actual help. I wish they just did a better job of explaining and give the right info. read more

The way my night ended at Topgolf was very upsetting and a disappointment. My family and I chose to spend our night at this establishment and was served with nothing but false accusations. I was approached by security being falsely accused of saying an inappropriate comment to an employee which was completely untrue. Right after the situation I wanted to make sure this employee (Sabrina) can rightfully identify me, however the reason for her to not come out to the front was she was busy doing another task. The reason they targeted me was because I was identified as "he's Asian" without any other form of description. As a customer to this establishment I feel disgusted and disrespected. I want this resolved by management via email. read more

DO NOT GO! (Yes, looking at you) DO. NOT. GO. This is the first review I have ever written for a reason. It was THAT bad. Ultimately the staff there does not know what they are doing. Whoever is running this place is getting in the way of (a) making money for the business; and (b) not willing to pay for professionals to run the business. The place is designed to have fun, but the staff, structure, and business model is getting in the way of them being profitable. This place is too bad that the solutions to fix the problems are obvious to anyone paying attention. I have summarized my experience below as well as simple fixes to solve all their problems. The Start We arrived on a Sunday at 11am (as walk-ins) for TopGolf. Parking lot was half-empty. They quoted us at the door of a wait time of 1 to 1.5 hours. We put our name down and headed up to eat. Service The service here is horrible. We consistently had to initiate contact with the staff to take our drink and food orders. The server we had (an older gentleman who seemed lost in his surroundings on the third floor) only took our food orders once and never returned to our table. The food took about 45 mins to come out. The server never returned to ask how the food was, ask if we needed a refill on drinks, or to see if we needed anything else. After 45 mins of not being acknowledged by our server we had to literally walk behind the bar to ask if we could close out. The Wait We ended up checking down with the front desk several times on our progress. They advised that the waitlist is not in chronological order. Further, parties keep extending their Bay times. Ultimately, we returned to the front desk about 4-5 times after their additional estimate of our wait had passed. Every time they would provide a new number. We eventually left after waiting 3.5 hours. Again, after being quoted 1-1.5 hours at 11am. The Solutions (1) Implement a Maximum Bay Time Policy The most immediate fix they need to take is to implement a Max Bay Time. Parties can only do Topgolf for that period of time (say 2 hours) and then they have to leave the Bay so another party can be served. On the day we were there, we consistently told that parties keep extending their bay times. With the number of people on their waitlist (I saw the guy at the desk literally scrolling and scrolling), this is the easiest and most profitable fix. Most parties will front load their food and drink orders. So the parties extending their time are still paying for the bay but they are likely not buying the more profitable items, such as food and drinks. With the length of the wait list TopGolf will make the bay fees regardless, but they're not boosting sales. They're missing out on money. This place just recently opened, so there will be heightened demand in the first few months of business. Maybe later down the line when there isn't as much interest they can do away with this Max Bay Time Policy, but right now they desperately need it. Moreover, this policy will allow a better time estimate for guests that choose to walk-in. Right now, the wait time they provide is imaginary. It doesn't exist as long as parties can continue to indefinitely extend their bay times. (2) Upsell We had a chance to walk the grounds while we were at this location. nearly 40% of the bays on every level (including the top level which you would expect to be the most premier) were empty. Additionally, they have several different suite style bays that flank each side. One of the staff advised that the suites are an additional surcharge on the traditional bay pricing. We were never offered a suite-style bay at an additional fee. These suites (like a significant % of the bays) were left vacant. For a facility that operates adjacent to Santa Monica. Not upselling these suites is criminal. Our group would have been fine paying a surcharge if it meant we didn't have to wait 3 hours. Again, they are missing out on money. (3) Revamp Service Staff I cannot speak for the servers at the bays because we were never seated. With that said, the servers in the normal dining areas were some of the worst I have ever had and I'm a fairly reasonable guy who has worked in the service industry. The fact that we were never checked on, never asked for a refill on drinks, or additional food is again lost sales. (4) Poach a Manager They really need to poach a Manager (or several staff) from other locations to come in and help run this place for 6-9 months to get it running smoothly. There was just a sense throughout the entire experience that the staff were on autopilot. This place is built and designed to have the most fun as possible, but they are blowing it. They need to spend some extra money and get managers and staff from other locations in to revamp and correct all the issues. Bottom line, this location makes it just way to difficult to take my money. Just lost sales and lost opportunities. Do not go. read more

Went the day before grand opening! Was really fun! Been to the ontario one and so happy this one opened up. We tried to call and it sent us to a representative who doesn't even work there. Made a reservation at 2:45pm and was on the way from Burbank. Obviously with traffic it took some time to arrive and I had gotten a call at 2:55pm asking if I was still going to which I answered yes. Then traffic hit and it delayed our ETA. Again at 3:18pm I get another call asking for my ETA to which I replied 13 minutes. The employee replied saying that if we did not arrive in 13 minutes that we would lose our bay. I said that I understood and I arrived at the location in those 13 minutes. I went to the front desk to check in and the employee tells me that they gave up my table and bay to someone else. And that the wait time will be 4-5 hours for a new bay. She says that there is only a 10-15 minute grace period and I replied saying that I was never told this information. Very unacceptable that they lie and tell me one thing on the phone and then deny it in person and make me leave after driving an hour and a half to play. Super unprofessional and lacking customer service. read more

They will have 23 bays open on one floor (I actually counted) for 2+ hours but will make you wait until a preselected one is open. We waited for over an hour while it was half full and the next reservations for all the open bays were 2.5 hours from when we got there - we just went home and they did not get my money. I'm really bummed to write this review. The first time I came here was for a work event I had a good time! Food was really good and service was great. Second time was tonight and it was really disappointing. The golfing is fun but the food and service was awful!!!!! My drink order was wrong twice. We had to ask for water, ask for plates, ask for napkins. My husband walked to the kitchen three times to ask for stuff. The macaroni bites were greasy, the nachos were flavorless and the donut holes were dry and they were out of one of the sauces. We had to ask for everything and it was exhausting. $230 later I can't justify coming back. It was a huge disappointment. It's used to be high end and now it's kinda low end. read more

I totally was looking forward to going, however, the poor management and customer service absolutely sucks. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and after spending over 300 dollars for the time allotted of play time, the server wasn't allowed to add more time due to "people waiting" for our lane. We asked for more time because we had ordered food and they brought the food out with 10 mins to spare until our time was up. When "management " came out they offered we go to their bar area to finish eating or to cancel the food (even though the food had just been taken out, sitting on trays) . Their lack of personable staff is horrible. Although the concept sounds fun, you're better off going to Alondra park to shoot some balls and going to a nice restaurant afterwards (for the amount of money you'll be spending), and not have to deal with the mediocre service. Don't waste your time or money on this place. Definitely needs friendlier and better trained people to run it. read more

Reservations are a must, unless you want to wait 2 to 2 and half hours for a bay. They run out of beer and liquor fast for some reason. They always have the bar top tables by the bar with reservation signs but there are never folks there. The food is mediocre. Prime pizza will be opening just down the street soon so I'd say eat that before going to tip golf. If you do get food, get the grill chicken sandwich. read more

I went to Topgolf for the very first time on my birthday! I had an absolute blast. I tried the Topgolf game and the Topgolf Practice game. I highly recommend both for beginners. The food was surprisingly good (we had no idea what to expect from a driving range haha). I would definitely recommend the wings and the tacos! Our server, JOHN R., was THEE BEST. Full of personality, attentive, knowledgable and overall fun! I cannot thank John enough for making my first Topgolf experience so memorable. And I speak for my entire party when I say that. I will definitely be returning to Topgolf! read more

Really the most fun I've had at any kind of mini golf / golf place. It's not exactly like a whole golf course with a mini cart it's more of a range where you have booths and you can hang out with friends and enjoy your evening. In summary: Golf - 4 stars Service/Food/Drinks - 2 stars I was trying to organize a group event for my team (~8 people) from work. I booked a week in advance (based on advice from friends), but apparently if you want to have two bays (6 people max each) side-by-side, you have to book over TWO weeks in advance. I booked two single bays separately for a tuesday afternoon and called. Topgolf stated that they could not manually set it up where the two bays are linked. The best they could do was try to accommodate use with both bays next to each other (but not linked in the system). Disappointing, but we decided to move forward. The golf itself was great, but a tutorial from someone would have been very helpful. We had to learn on the fly for the first hour or so. I was expecting someone to help us along since it was our first time. Our service started off okay, but at one point our servers switched without any communication and there was a lack of attention. The food was decent. Cost ended up being $500 with tip. That was 7 players, 2.5 hours (3-530pm), 2 bays, a pitcher, some appetizers, other drinks, and one-time membership fees. It was about what I expected to pay. I would go back, but I was honestly expecting more service and attention for the price we paid. read more
