Love the food buthere , but as other reviews mentioned, the lady at the counter during the day (I came in on a Tuesday at around 11) was extremely rude and inattentive. It felt as if she didn't want to be there and her tone of her voice was very annoyed and demeaning. As I was placing my order, she kept looking down and started playing with her fingernails/ring(?) and didn't punch in my order on the computer until after she was done fiddling with it. As she handed me my order, she told me to have a nice day with an annoyed voice, not even bothering to look at me. Also, asked for steamed veggies to replace my salad but apparently that went in one ear and out the other. TL;DR: Food is great, but the rude lady that works in the AM needs to go. This is a sm place in a shopping center with Ralph's market. It's great the steak is tender and the chicken is soft and tender also. The meat is not over cooked and tough. The brown rice is also soft not dry. Tastes better than the white rice. It's quite and cozy with a patio that sits 10 or 12. Inside sits 14. This spot is nicely situated in a large plaza with plenty of parking and other food options. I liked this spot because the food is familiar and the tastes are along the lines of American and Americanized Asian tastes. The staff are kind, they keep things clean, and the options are familiar enough that I could go there every other day and enjoy tastes that are familiar to me. Came here for some rice bowl/plates at almost closing time. I ordered the chicken plate for 7.99 and it was mediocre. Rice was relatively dry and the chicken was slightly dry as well. What i assume to be teriyaki sauce was very light, but helped make the plate taste less dry after mixing in with the rice. The salad was ok, nothing special. Oranges were very sweet and probably the best part of the plate. The food alone is only worth 3 stars, but what made me give it 4 is that they didn't kick me out during closing time as well as allowing me to order even when they were about to clean up. read more

They always have our food ready within 10-15 mins and is almost usually cooked perfectly except for like one time, but I'm sure they might've had an off day due to covid.
