Can savory pie be as delicious as sweet pie? It can if it's Tomato Pie from the Tomato Pie Cafe! Mmm, soft, hot chucks of tomatoes in soft cheesy mixture that was warm and flavorful! A small spring salad and herbed scone completed the plate but wait...I had to have the tomato bisque as well! The table had Olio's Lemon White Balsamic! That was delicious too that I wanted to drink the bottle. Nice concentrated lemon flavor and sweet! My whole plate with soup was perfect! Everything hit the spot! There was high noise in this house converted to a cafe! The place is quaint, locals are friendly but waitresses are a bit standoffish but okay! It could be from working hard from the long line of customers that are waiting to be seated! Small menu but do more of what you do best works here! The seasonal tomato pie is delicious as well. The locals next table had peanut butter pie that looked to die for! The portion was generous looking! The ladies to my left had quiche and a chia pudding! Mmm! Folks in Pennsylvania can sure cook well!!! I am still salivating! read more

Great service, good food. Great experience! Thank you. Great friends. Thank you for a great day

This place was cute. Nice menu options. Service was pretty good. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a cute cafe while visiting Lititz. read more

Little disappointed...I had such fond memories of my previous lunch with family so of course I couldn't wait to enjoy this charming little restaurant once more. The menu had so many intriguing options we decided to share. Unfortunately the carrot fries were lukewarm and barely cooked, both paninis were underwhelming and lukewarm and the salad side had no dressing...just a few greens. However, the tomato pie was yummy and so was the tomato bisque. Would I revisit Tomato Pie Cafe? Yes... I am hoping it must have been an "off" day in the kitchen. read more

I'm a local girl. This place is always busy, but we were seated on a Saturday at lunchtime after waiting only 25 minutes. I had the spinach and artichoke tomato pie and it was so savory. This is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant and I would highly recommend! read more

Nice little place. Two of us stopped by around 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Only had to wait a minute for a table. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and soup. Both were great. My friend had a salad and she said it was delicious. Something with pear in it. Service was great. read more

I have eaten many times and Tomato Pie Cafe has been great every time. I had the Monte Cristina and it was delicious. My wife had the three cheese quiche it was also great. We are at the counter and what a great experience, we got to talk to the staff and customers a real change after Covid and not being able to socialize with people you just met. When I'm Lititz Pa. Stop by the TomatoPie Cafe you will not be disappointed. read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Lititz!!! I love the white lavander latte and quiches.

It was a beautiful day to enjoy lunch outside. All three of us ordered salads. Hubby added 1/2 toasted cheese sandwich. The portions were definitely good sized. The food was fresh and delivered to our table by a friendly and efficient server. Fairly priced for portion size. The rosemary bread and salad dressings were the stars of the meal! read more

Wowowowowww. First off, service is amazing!! They go above and beyond for their customers. Secondly, the food. Grits & stacks was prob my most favorite ever!! The Parmesan grit cakes OMGGG. My mouth is watering from typing this. Cold brews are great too. Last but not least, it's dog friendly!! Which is quite important for us. *make a reservation, they get busy busy. Thank you so much for your awesome service & delicious food. We'll definitely visit again when we're in town :) read more

Did not disappoint. Drove off to Lititz to the original restaurant. Table of 3. Got chicken meatballs and spaghetti squash - excellent for keto lifestyle folks - everything was great (temp, taste, texture). Also had a very fluffy 3 cheese quiche. Final order was tomato pie - very good. Quiche and tomato pie had a really great savory scone and a nice side of greens with dressing available on table (lemon white balsamic). Got 2 cold tomato pies to go. Great service also. Will be back. read more

Delicious breakfast food that isn't greasy like other places. Servings are just the right size. Tables are very small but it's worth it.

We tried this restaurant upon the recommendation of local friends and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Avocado on Toast dish and it was delicious. The avocado was fresh, the toast properly toasted and the egg done just right. We ordered a side of chicken and feta sausage and the flavours were fabulous. Often I find that Chicken sausages are too herby but this one was just the right balance. The interior is nicely decorated and it is warm and cozy. The staff was also very welcoming and polite; I wouldn't expect otherwise in this region however. Enjoy! read more

I came with my husband for brunch. We were seated very quickly and we're helped right away. I ordered the fried eggs and brie sandwich with rosemary potatoes with a rosemary vanilla latte. My husband had the tomatoes pie and a pretzel sandwich. The pie taste great and the sandwich was really good. The coffee was okay. A bit too sweet for me and I couldn't really taste the rosemary. Overall great service and good food. read more

This place is alright but not exactly to my liking. The presentation throws me off with the ugly dishes, but the vibes are fairly welcoming. I really enjoyed the outdoor dining--in a quaint, sizable area. The food is bland for my boyfriend and my tastebuds. Where's the flavor and seasoning?? The raspberry peach grilled cheese was a letdown as I was kinda excited to try something so unique. However, it just doesn't work. The raspberry peach jam does NOT work in the grilled cheese. The flavoring is not complemented at all! Service is alright. The menu is extensive, but it just doesn't suit my tastebuds. read more

So, being from the south, and living in Montana, I had never even heard of tomato pie. We were looking for a bite to eat in this quaint little town and stumbled upon this place! The staff was fabulous! Plus, I tried the tomato pie with and without the kimchi... the kimchi one is my favorite. Now I have to figure out how to make it back home! read more

My family raves about it! This was my first experience and it was delicious! We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. We got two lemonades and a shareable GF tomato pie. It was so delicious! Came out in a timely manner and then following was our food. We got a meatball sub and the local burger. They have a local Lemon White Balsamic on the table that is very tasty on their greens and would suggest honestly purchasing right in town in Lititz. Overall an awesome experience, will definitely be returning! read more

Ambience is all country, and a general store. The tables are rather close together, so there is little room for privacy. However, the food is delicious. Tomato pie is the best. All of the food appears to be prepared from scratch and home-made, lemonade, freshly squeezed. There's not anything that I can say against the food or beverages. Put this all together with a very friendly and efficient staff makes for a delicious lunch. One word of advice, you may have to wait because the café gets very busy. read more

the food was great. i got peaches and cream baked oatmeal. however , before i rodees my food i ordered an iced matcha with ice on the side. this matcha did not come out until AFTER my food had already been delivered and i was halfway through eating it. when it came, i realized it had been served in a dirty cup. i then could not find anyone to report this to for 5 minutes and ended up going to the front bar to ask for a new one. read more

The food and pricing are good. My wife and I have been here a number of times and usually get the tomato pie, which comes with greens and a small slice of scone. 7.95... well worth it. The reason for the three stars is that it's not mind blowingly good... it's just... good. AND, the service (starting with the host) is always brisk and not very attentive. Sometimes it seems like they don't really want you there. It gets really busy and I understand that things get challenging, but, it's just not very welcoming. read more

Ambiance was homey and inviting. Greeted right away by friendly staff. Seated quickly at 12:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Fantastic attentive waiter. Coffee was hot and in a nice mug. Also, they give you water. They serve breakfast until 2:00pm!! YES, my kind of place. I'll remember that for next time. Pops got the sausage & red pepper flatbread. This was zesty and FULL of flavor. My taste buds went crazy.. my mouth is watering now. Pops took off the kale, but I loved it, and put the extra on mine. Try it before you knock it. I got the tomato pie flatbread which was out of this world. We shared each other's meal. We are talking about coming again before the tourist come. read more

Happened to accidentally stumble upon this restaurant while vacationing in the Amish county..I've been dreaming and drooling over the memory of the tomato pie ever since we got back. Flavor, texture ... comfort food. You won't need a menu to order off of...coz It's all over the name...lol! Tomato pie sandwich, flippers, flatbreads... all the goodness anyway you like it. I tried it just as a pie .. red juicy tomatoes baked in a super flaky cheesy crust with a side of grits... just scrumptious! paired with a pineapple berry smoothie, yum! Too bad I don't stay close by. read more

A great place to gather some breakfast! A lovely setting with pleasant staff and tremendous food! I had an omlette, which they call a "flipper". My initial vision of a sea-mammal vanished with the arrival of a generous portion of folded egg matter and potatoes. The flipper was stuffed with quality ingredients and the potatoes were seasoned and prepared very good. The coffee had me thinking of Jules in Pulp Fiction... This is some serious gourmet sh#& ! Our service was excellent with plenty of timely refills of water and gourmet sh#&. I will absolutely eat here again! Your mileage may vary. read more

They are open for outdoor dining now, but we aren't quite feeling comfortable with that yet so we opted for takeout. Everything came packaged in neat little containers. I had a breakfast sandwich on a pretzel bun with Sriracha mayo, which was perfect. Boyfriend got a grilled chicken sandwich with some chips, which he enjoyed. We got a mini tomato pie to try - it isn't the pizza-like tomato pie of Eastern PA/Philly. It is a legit pie of tomatoes, and it is delicious. I wish I had gotten a bigger one to take home. I also had the best iced vanilla-rosemary latte. read more

What a quaint restaurant that is quite larger on the inside then i expected which encompasses a first and second floor with multiple different rooms. When you enter the restaurant you will be greeted by a nice selection of pastries that look amazing! I tried the Tomato Pie with a side of greens and a herb savory scone. Something i have never tried before. Much flavor in the Tomato pie and scone. I was pleased. I also had a chai latte which was amazing and made properly! Fast and friendly service. We did not wait long for our drinks or food. I definitely will be back many more times to come! read more

This is for the Tomato Pie Cafe in Lititz, PA which is in the center of the town and an apparent building landmark and tourist location. We went here on a weekend recommended by locals at a festival. Noticed the county had a "public hearing" notice billboard out front pending a zoning and use debate scheduled about this business. No idea of the history. Place was packed-crowded, with people sitting waiting inside and out, which the check-in clerk (lied to us) and told us only a 10-minute wait. After 25-minutes, same clerk, "revised" her wait estimate to 1-hour. Sorry! Poor impression, untruthful staff, no worth waiting around for. Walked away to find immediate seating, right across the street, and much better service. Rating: (*) Eeek! Methinks not. Need a new business model here. read more
