Delicious broccoli soufflé like dish
Lori S.

We came here the other week for a fun and wonderful dinner served by Nino Elia, his daughter Sara, and staff, and created by his guest chef Guiseppe Sciurca (& his girlfriend) from Sicily. Our dinner was a reunion for our group who had traveled together to Tuscany/Florence, Italy in October 2022. The food was delicious, we did a BYOB of wine, and had a fabulous time! Thank you Nino, family and our chefs. A big thanks also to our friends Rick & Donna for arranging this great evening!! So fun. We hope to travel to Sicily also some day! * They also have a lot of goodies in their storefront including the thick pasta pictured with the almond pesto! Support local businesses!!

08.26.23 First visit was pretty enjoyable. PROS: Food was good and fresh. Ambiance Prices CONS: Sauce flavor overtook meatball & chicken taste I think they charge for water carafe but not positive. OVERALL: Very much enjoyed, anxious to try other meals, will definitely comeback and will definitely recommend.

Walk in, greeted by super nice people, which I found out is a father daughter duo that owns the place! Super great people and funny. I got a meatball to try and wow! It was delicious, and I would recommend it for only $2! I ordered the Pollo Italiano for $14. They didn't have broccoli robe, so I was a little bummed about that, so I had greens instead. The bread that it was served on was very good. The chicken was slightly dry but had a really good taste. The only complaint was that it didn't have nearly enough cheese. My friend got the Italian wedding soup and it was great, she also ordered the pizza which was fantastic! I thought for $14 it was a little small, but it was very good Parking is kinda crazy it's on Main Street in Lititz, so you may have a hard time finding a spot. Also, they have a little store front selling Italian ingredients.

Definitely fresh

Piccolo eatery. I'd always wanted to try this place and walked by more than a few times visiting Lititz. That's what I thought anyway. I didn't realize this restaurant had replaced the little cafe that preceded it and the pandemic. Hey, food is food (partially true) and I'm hungry (the thing that makes it true). Got the Italian sub because it's been a little while since I had a good one and the fresh looking meats, cheeses, and vegetables behind the glass were calling my name. Besides, it's harder to find a good sharp provolone where I live these days. The sandwich had a good combination of flavors. The meat was a little hard to bite through but it was freshly sliced and so was the cheese. I should say that everything seemed to be pretty fresh, down to the bread. Considering the surrounding alternatives, I'd recommend trying this place out. It's not going to make my favorites list. It's also much better than a lot of the other options in downtown Lititz for lunch.

Finally!! Lancaster area has been in desperate need for a good Italian restaurant (if you think the…read moreother places in Lanc are good Italian- please visit Philly, Boston or Providence and then come back to the comments) I had the white ragu, and my date had the gnocchi - both freshly made, and they were the best pasta dishes I've had while living here over the last nine years. Five out of five and can't wait to go back

I truly love it here but I couldn't give it 5 stars. I ALMOST gave three due to ONLY the staff…read more... (Unfortunately. Negative-ish reviews, or anything, sucks) The food is consistently GREAT and the chef/owner is probably the coolest woman you'll ever meet. She cares about this place and that shows. The staff.... Ahhhhh! I know it's tough in the service industry, but when customers are being nice to you and you could not care less about giving them any kindness back, not cool. Three out of four times I've been there, the check in at the front has been not great. It always seems like the hostess and the waitress truly don't want you there. Or at least want to make you feel like you've done something wrong or inconvenient. Italian guilt (lol just a joke). But really, we had a group of 7 before and we were waiting on one- and I know some places have their reasons for weird rules but they don't have to be MEAN about it. ONE person was 5 min late and we knew her app order lol. We also went to the 7 fishes dinner they did this holiday which, because of the chef, I highly recommend. Food was honestly incredible. They advertised a full bar but only had two waitresses (they might have been the most miserable waitresses I have encountered. Which was sad because it was a cool experience) filling up a random red or white wine for you. Wine was separate cost from ticket which is smart and how you make money, but the waitresses were not interested in filling your glass. When we got there, we had a friend joining my husband and I. So, as always, she purchased her own ticket. Did not know that would make the two waitresses so upset that they would roll there eyes at us when they realized we were technically a three group and not two so they asked us if we mind our friend sitting BY HERSELF. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO US. When we very kindly explained that would definitely make her anxious and she's almost here so if they can have us sit together for the start which is in 15 min and not everyone is here yet, that'd be so helpful. Who know they wouldn't let you choose your seat? They sighed and told us "they would try" so they went out to the people there and explained how there was "only one person who was technically here alone so can people move down a seat?" 1. How embarrassing to the person who was "the only one alone" and 2. They gave this same speech again to this said person as soon as she walked in. Told her all they had to "move" around for her and she felt awful! We felt completely unwelcomed and like a burden after paying over $100 for tickets. Each. In depth review and long, but I have in depth feelings about a place so good and with an awesome chef, but staff is just tough.... I'm a double libra, I'm overly nice in public- don't do this shit to humans just trying to enjoy their night. (I'm also an Aries, so... explains the long review)

After what felt like a Survivor-level bathroom scavenger hunt, we spotted Roma Pizza like a beacon of hope. The place was hopping -- folks darting in and out with to-go boxes like it was the hottest ticket in town. We ordered a medium cheese, mushroom, and pepperoni pie with two fountain sodas, rang up around $20 (my kind of math), and snagged a table. The Pizza Rundown * Sauce: Tangy with a sweet little wink at the end -- like it knew it was good. * Cheese: Plentiful, stringy, glorious... honestly carrying the whole team. * Toppings: Mushrooms and pepperoni were generous enough to be noticed, but not trying to steal the spotlight from the cheese. * Seasoning: A sprinkle of oregano for that "just enough" finish. * Crust: Firm but not hard, tasty without trying too hard. We inhaled all but three slices, boxed those beauties up, and I may or may not have eaten them in my kitchen at midnight like a raccoon in pajama pants. Vibe check: Small-town charm, row of connected Main Street shops, raised pizza stands on the tables (bless you for that), and friendly, polite staff who clearly know they're feeding the masses. Is it the best pizza I've ever had? No. Is it worth a stop if you're in Lititz and need to refuel? Absolutely. Solid pie, fair price, happy customers. Roma, you were the hero of my craft-fair chaos day.
