One waitress named Eli was very nice and brought us chips even though he wasn't our waiter. They have a decent kids menu and the place is very clean. Never a disappointment when I go here. I usually stick to my usual verde enchiladas but today I went with the concha tostada. It was so good! Hadn't been to this one. My uncle walked in and hostess was talking for several minutes ignoring us. Another lady came in after us, and then hostess came to seat us. I opened the menu, and dried disgusting food crumbs rice beans etc, was all inside the menu. Old food dried in the menu. Server came to take order, his apron was caked with old food stains, fresh food stains, just looked gross. Almost didnt want to order. Wow! read more

Excellent food and service! When we tried to go to Casa Maria's at 3:40, they told us they were closed (they close at 4:00). We asked for a recommendation of another restaurant and they suggested Toledo's. We are so glad they did! The food was delicious and our waiter, Manuel, was so attentive and nice. I'm here so often that the staff should just start reserving me a table and offering me a royalty check for making this burrito famous. This burrito isn't just food - it's an experience. It's so perfect, I'm pretty sure it could fix broken relationships, pay off student loans, and bring about world peace, all while wrapped in a warm tortilla. One bite and suddenly, everything in life just makes sense. I've eaten so many Chipotle Burritos at Toledo's that they've probably started a special supply chain just for me. I really felt like some Comfort food so hubby brought me in for some caldo de Pollo. Let me first say my mom made this all the time for me and passed on the recipe. I was disappointed because I know for a fact this was thrown together. The broth had an over powering taste of bay leaf and nothing else. I had to pour the entire container of salsa in to flavor it up. So sad this place represents our food like this. My main complaint comes from the Michelada drinks. They have got to stop using bloody Mary mix for them. It's all tomamo, no beer taste and soooo much pepper. I had to send it back. Including the one that was remade. The enchiladas plate could have used more chicken filling as well as the chile colorado burrito. There was just not enough meat. Otherwise, it was tasty. Service is a 10/10 amazing I went on my lunch break and was out in 40 min the waitress understood the assignment. I appreciated it. Food quality is so so 6/10. The dude and I came to Toledo's on 4/23/20 as the dinner I cooked did not plan out well. We called in our order and the employee let us know that our food will be ready in 30 minutes. The woman took our order was very friendly and helpful. We arrived about 35 minutes after we placed the phone call and the dude went in and paid the order. We went home and began to chow down. I got the combo plate of Chile Rellano, Chicken Enchilada, beans and rice. The Chile Rellano was my least favorite item as I felt it was not seasoned, I gave to my dude to eat. The Chicken Enchilada was delicious as it was seasoned and yummy! The beans and rice were yummy too. The chips and salsa was delicious! So Yummy! You can definitely tell the chips were cooked fresh as they were crisp and fresh. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. Not perfect but good as it hit the spot. The dudes meal looked so pretty and good. But it appears that he didn't enjoy his meal as it had SO MUCH sour cream on his Sopes which he wiped off. He didn't know that it came with that much sour cream or he would have requested none. However, he did like the meat and the chips and salsa. The meat was good and I felt the Sopes was too thick for my liking as I took a bite. The abondigas were good which the dude loved! I really didn't eat much of it as I don't eat beef. Overall, the food was good but maybe not my first choice to eat here as my favorites will be my favorites. Took an order to go. Very good! Food was hot and ready fast. Ordered a 3 item combo and had enough that my husband and I shared. He had the lengua enchilada and loved it! Toledos serves my favorite salsa from any Mexican restaurant in Fresno/Clovis. I always get the sopes - you get 3 and can mix and match the meat if you want. I get either carne asada or shredded beef. They are my favorite sopes. The rice is bland, but the beans are always good. I also enjoy their peach margarita even though the color looks like a plain margarita - it definitely tastes like peach. The chips aren't my favorite, but I eat enough of their salsa that it doesn't matter. My latest outing here was by myself before 5pm on a Saturday and they were busy! There was even a wait for one person. It took longer than I would have liked to be acknowledged once I was seated, but I truly didn't mind. It was loud and busy inside. My family loves coming here. We always order the same thing. I get a carne asada burrito with beans and rice and so does my husband. The kids get bean and cheese burritos and chile verde burritos with beans and rice. We also love their chips and salsa! It's one of our go Mexican restaurants in town. The service has always been great and we've never had to wait too long. We love when we get sat at a booth. We also like the location and it's always clean inside. read more

She had helped a lot in customizing something vegetarian I could grab also for the meal. We had grabbed a pitcher of mango margaritas which actually stayed pretty frozen despite our slow efforts to drink it all. I blame the whiskey. I had gotten a vegetarian fajita mix with different veggies for the meal. There was also soup on the side as well that was offered. The soup was tasty. The fajita had a lot of different veggies, and a lot of it. I'd say the only difficulty was that there was so much it was a little counter productive getting all of it to sear which I totally didn't. I did try though. Needed more salt and spices, though tossing salsa on everything also works. The service definitely makes it I'd say. She worked around a lot for the meal. First time here, as Carrillo's closes at 9. Very extensive menu with breakfast offered all day. They were able to make divorced eggs for me for no up charge. Food took awhile to come out. Overall the food was good but beans and rice were lukewarm. The second time around it was the same. My sons dinner had been sitting for a bit. After 2 vaccine shots and almost a year being at home because of COVID, I treated my mom to brunch. Her and my sister had steak and eggs and I had the chili verde breakfast. I ordered the Beef Burrito, Tamale, and Chili Verde Enchilada. On the first try the meats in the burrito and the enchilada were wrong. I flagged down a passing server and he politely took the plate back to fix the order. Our server came back to apologize for the error. I told her mistakes happen and I did not hold her responsible. The food was replaced. Our original and the server who took the wrong food back to the kitchen stopped by to see if everything was OK. I was impressed. I made sure to compliment the manager on his great staff. I would recommend this restaurant. It is nice to have competent service. The burrito had onions, tomatoes, and onions added to it which enhanced the flavor of the meat. The tamale was fine. The Chili Verde was a little bland and probably needed to soak in the sauce for a little bit longer. Complimentary chips and salsa are provided with the meal. In Mid-February 2021 this and their Herndon locations are open during Covid 19 Restrictions Their other locations are currently closed. QR Codes are displayed on each table to view the menu. Dining in their outside tent felt safe enough. The tent is setup in part of the parking lot and had the tables spaced more than Six Feet Apart. The area had fans, Hand Sanitizer Dispensers and Outdoor Heaters completing the area. The staff all wore masks. I noticed indoor dining as well. Overall the restaurant was clean. read more
