Our family's go to restaurant for Mexican food. We've never even set foot in Los Rancheros yet and they're killin' it. Everything is always delicious! You can tell by the way the food is delivered that care is taken with the preparation. For starters, even with fairly large orders, they never process the order wrong. You get what you ordered. Not only that, it's packaged with care. With some other restaurants, you get the order and it looks like a bomb exploded under it before it was delivered. Not Los Rancheros. Everything looks just like you ordered in house and they brought it to your table. It took us awhile to find "our" Mexican restaurant, but we've finally found it in Los Rancheros. Good food. Excellent service. There was one guy behind the bar and our waitress that I remember from our visit (we were there about 3 weeks ago). Both greeted us with smiles and were very friendly. We got seated right away, and she took our drink orders promptly and our food order shortly after, once we were ready. We got complimentary chips and salsa, which we enjoyed. He got a very large beer, I got a coke. He ordered tacos, I wanna say Carne Asada but I remember him saying something different off the menu but I could be wrong. I only took one bite, tasted good, he really liked them. I got the enchiladas plate, all cheese-- had to. The beans were really good, the rice was okay. I've gotta say... though I did like these enchiladas, they didn't take the ribbon for the best for me. It's great to know I have some place closer to me though that I can enjoy good enchis if I didn't want to make a drive. Our girl gave me a spicier version of the salsa for my enchiladas and before packing my leftovers (that I didn't get to eat btw because my bf ate it, ugh) I had asked her (for future references) if next time I'd be able to get more of the sauce that the enchiladas were cooked in... that little Saint brought me out a little extra to take to go! Now that's what I call service! Oh, a tostada actually also came with my plate and we thoroughly enjoyed that. Something so simple, yet so good. The restaurant itself is a decent size. Not huge but not super tiny. I definitely get the Mexican vibes off the table cloths and the bar decor. They have a good amount of seating, as well as at the bar... and they had good music. As much as I'd like to give it to them, I can't be too easy with my ratings. It wasn't an absolute slam dunk but it was still very good and the service definitely added to it. We decided stop here for lunch today (Monday November 24). The venue was small and it had a bar with some TVs. When we arrived there was 4 tables with customers including us. They only had 1 waitress working and she was very nice and did her best to check on the tables but definitely need another person to support. We ordered the Carne Asada plate. The waitress brought us chips and salsa which was fine the salsa was tasty. Next she brought us a bean tostada with lettuce, avocado and sour cream. The tostada was warm and it was good. When our food arrived it was a big portion. Only complaint was that both of the carne asada didn't have any seasoning so we added salt and pepper to the meat. I was disappointed with the meat. Price wise it was okay we paid $60. With 2 coffees and 2 drinks, 2 asada plates each $18. Overall it was an okay experience wish they would have had more help for the waitress who did great but no support. Second thing was seasoning on the meat would have been perfect. read more

I been really really wanting to try this place for so long, i even seen it on social media by a food influencer. So i finally was able to stop in and i live an hour away. We went in it seemed pretty busy last Thursday 4/30/2026. The waiter was super friendly but i over heard it was only him. The waitress had called in. We went maybe about an hour before closing. Well i thought the food was decent however the next day i got really sick throwing up and felt super weak. My husband came home and didnt feel good as well. The next day after my 1 yr old was not feeling good. As of today 5/6/2026 , i already had to take my toddler to the emergency over the weekend as he was throwing up and diarrhea which has not cleared up yet. We have been confirmed that we got food poisoning. Which is extremely bad. I wish i would have liked this place but it has cost us alot then our dinner. I will not being coming back. read more

They might've been having an off night, because the food took a long time to make, and when I got home from picking it up, it was ice cold. I ordered the two chicken enchilada plate with rice and beans and I'm sad to say it was bland. No spice and I found myself adding salt, which I honestly never do. The portion was decently sized, and I like that a refried bean tostadas with every combo meal. My wife said her tamale + enchilada combo was ok, but like mine it was bland and cold. Even after heating it up, the flavor just wasn't there for us. The inside of this restaurant is small with a few booths and two tables in the middle. They do have a fully loaded bar with a few stools, and a TV. When my wife placed our order for pick up she was told 15 to 20 minutes. I was already in the area so arrived five-minutes after the order was placed. I ended up waiting 45-minutes for the food. It was a slow night, so I'm not sure what happened. I'll definitely give this place another try, but most likely will eat in the restaurant. read more

Beware and not order the crane asada. The meat is burnt. I ordered a taco salad and it is exactly that a taco in a shell with olives. There are no beans like Arsenios but the meat is burnt. 8/31/24 Ham breakfast burrito with egg white, potatoes, cheese, jalapeños, etc. and extra hot sauce on the side ordered. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I went to get it shortly later. Very nice restaurant. Bar included with big sceeen TVs. Greeted by a worker, told her paid for it & received after a short wait!! I came here when this place took over El Matador (not knowing a new place took its spot) and liked my my food. Then my son ended up coming here, right before school started with some friends & was telling me how much he enjoyed it. I guess a friend of his family owns this place (something like that). So we came back last week being we were craving Mexican food. The food is good & really liked the chips! Hated the salsa, but that's whatever. We both ended up getting enchiladas (also comes with a tostada or salad) except his came with an egg on top. My son truly enjoyed his food & so did I, I also liked the enchilada sauce used. Had a bit of a different flavor compared to normal (what I've had). All in all. Good food, friendly service! Somewhere we will continue going to. read more

This is a small "hole in the wall" type restaurant that I've driven by several times but never stopped in to try. This morning, I decided to give it a shot. It's very simple/plain inside (no real decor to speak of - old but appears clean. When I first came in, there was no one to greet me, and I waited a few minutes to be seated until the server emerged from the back. Once seated, my server was attentive, brought refills without me having to ask, and the food was brought out in a timely fashion. I ordered the Chile Verde with scrambled eggs (my go-to Mexican breakfast), potatoes, rice (subbed instead of the beans) and flour tortillas. The potatoes looked plain, but were actually seasoned very well and had a nice crisp to them. The Chile Verde was mild but had pretty good flavor. The rice was a little on the bland side, but still worked well since there was flavor in the other parts of the dish. It wasn't a "great deal," but I'd say the price was on par with a lot of other places. If you're looking for fancy ambiance, this may not be the right fit, but for a very casual dining experience, it was good enough that I'll be back to try their lunch/dinner menu. I ordered a 2 item full dinner combo. You can choose either a salad or tostada as an appetizer. All this for $9.50... that's a great deal to me. I ate the tostada because I was starving. It was delicious. It was topped with beans, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and lettuce. It came with rice, beans, i chose an enchilada and taco. They were veggie friendly and substituted some grilled veggies in my taco. I really enjoyed the enchilada it tasted really fresh and homemade. It made me wish I ordered more. Bf ordered chili Colorado meal. He chose a salad and the meal came with beans, rice and choice of corn or flour tortillas. His beef was tender and he enjoyed his meal. This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant. The owner is super nice, usually the one that serves us and his food just keeps getting better and better. He recently swapped out his thicker corn chips with the thinner, better tasting ones that he cooks in oil and his homemade salsa is SPICY! This is a really good restaurant! We had a group of 14 family members on a Saturday night. We needed a place that was air conditioned, with a bar, good for large groups. Numerous Yelp listings indicate reservations accepted at this and many other places, but we found out otherwise. Nonetheless, the host Eduardo held a table for us and we had a fantastic meal.
