Ruby's in Old Town Clovis is one of those hidden-gem dive bars you almost don't want to tell people about. Just off Pollasky and across the street from Bank of America, it's a small, quaint spot that feels welcoming the moment you walk in. The bar is cozy and unpretentious, with a pool table and an outdoor patio offering private seating--perfect for catching up with friends. The bartenders are genuinely sweet and kind, and Brenda and Amy truly make Ruby's what it is. They're friendly, attentive, and help create the easy bond you feel between the staff and regulars. The drinks are strong and cheap (as a good dive bar should be). The only downside is that it's cash-only, but with a bank right across the street, it's hardly an inconvenience. Shout out to this little, kind of smelly, dive bar! My wife and I started our first annual (parents only) Christmas pub crawl and this was our first stop. This cozy bar has the game on tv, one pool table, and one dart board. You can maybe fit 50 people in here, but I love that. There's one long bar to belly up at and few tables. No food is served here, but this place feels like the type of spot where you can bring your food. Did I mention they open at 6am and close at 2am? Who's down for a few breakfast beers?! read more

Overpriced for what you get! Could use an update without changing the theme of the restaurant.

Checked out Ruby's last night after The Old Town Saloon called last orders early at 7:30 and suggested we check it out. Great little bar, friendly vibe, lovely bartender and decently priced beer. Had an AWESOME TIME!! Friday and Saturday night during Clovis festival. Prices very reasonable, bartender was friendly and helpful.

Theres a time and place for a Ruby's fix, but when we do go, we always have a good time. Great location for a local bar and its been here forever. We definitely get that "your not a regular" feel, but the older gal thats been working there since Moses makes you feel welcome evey time we come in. Good pour for a fair price. read more

Definitely a place for the older crowd or to grab a drink while you're visiting some sort of clovis shindig. There is only about 3 pub tables and a small bar. Barb was always the sweetest and worked well for her age. read more

The place advertised open til 2:00 a..m we show up Christmas Holiday Time with out of town guests and she says we are open til "these" guests leave which obviously are walking locals because there were no cars parked! I went there with a group last night. The bar tender decided she had a problem with one of the girls. When I assured her everything was okay she snapped at me. When I laughed at her angry little attitude.. She kicked out the whole group. I guess that's what is to be expected there. Not the best experience. I wouldn't recommend this place under any circumstances. read more

I am someone who enjoys a hometown bar, with hometown people. We walked in and really enjoyed the friendly guy at the door and all the locals that chatted with us while we waited FOREVER to order a cocktail. Well the woman, kindly asked us if we would like a regular size Bloody Mary, or a tall we asked to see the difference in size. Then we watched her throw the cups on the ground, storm off and proceed to tell the customers that just walked in what horrible people we are... I felt degraded, frustrated, and straight pissed that a woman whom was older than dirt blamed ME because she was to exhausted to do her job! read more

New in town and looking for a place to hang out. This ain't it! Poor excuse for a "sports bar"--4 TV's w/closed captioning on one & no sound on the others; I'm assuming these TV's aren't for soap operas, right?! Jukebox is too loud and unnecessary; generally dirty inside & out ; seems to be some over-serving going on also. Rowdy patrons.
