Was never a big fan of any seltzer drinks until now. Crow and wolf delivers on quality crafted brews and their taste profiles are surprisingly good and refreshing. A bit pricey but worth the sip if you want to get out of the usual stuff. I keep a batch at home as they are gaining popularity and they fly off the shelves in my area. Dark horse is awesome, now called "Dark Wolf" for those who lost track of it and ask for it at tap houses and the servers are not up to date with the change with Dark Wolf, Your flavors are Boysenberry & Vanilla. Beer here is pretty decent we mostly came in for the people's choice taco truck from Taco Truck Throwdown La Vaporera. Had a little sticker shock for two beers at 30 bucks should have looked at the menu closer I suppose. Crow & Wolf has never been one of my favorites because the beer tenders don't talk about the beer here. Other breweries in town talk up their beers and help you make informed decisions. Stopped at Crow & Wolf on my way up 99 from Anaheim and finally got to check this place out in person. I've had a few of their seltzers before at my favorite taproom back home (big fan of Dark Horse, especially), so I was excited to try more. Met up with my sister, who lives in Clovis; she had never been here before and is now officially a fan. (That'll probably backfire since she'll be here all the time, and I'll just be jealous when I see her pics!) This time, I went for their Golden Stout and a few of the seltzers I hadn't tried yet. The Golden Stout was excellent; I liked it so much I actually requested my hometown taproom add it to their rotation. As for the seltzers, the ones I tried here weren't quite my thing, but I still remain a BIG fan of Dark Horse, as well as Pass the Tabu, and Cosmonaut. And Dark Horse in slushee form??? Yes, please! And it was delicious. The space itself has a great vibe... modern but relaxed, with plenty of room to hang out. The service was quick and friendly, and overall, it was just a really fun stop. This is definitely a hidden little spot with two different entrances. We came here on a Thursday and it was bustling with people and music. There was food trucks outside and inside were all the drinks. The ambiance was calm and relaxing. We got the slushes with tajin and chamoy which were delicious! We had a great time here overall and wish we brought board games like a few other people which would have definitely made it more fun! Great place to just hang with friends and relax. You'll notice they have plenty of trophies and awards bc the beer is THAT GOOD. I love the vibe of this place. Since it's family and dog friendly everyone can come and have a good time. They have different food trucks and have a board stating which one will be there throughout the month. Nice and cool inside and plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sports, 7 I believe. Dog friendly and they have misters outside if you want the heat. Plenty of tables and chairs and a very large variety of seltzers and beers to choose from. Tried the boysenberry and vanilla seltzer last outing and it was delicious, it has won numerous awards and I can see why. Staff is fantastic. A little out of the way and you may have to park and walk a little distance but worth it. They also sell chips and salsa at the bar. read more

Good brewery with a nice place to chill. Can get kind of busy especially on the weekends. Wished they had pitchers, however, they did offer pitcher prices in some of their taps. Pitcher makes it easier to transport to the table rather than trying to carry over 4 plastic cups. The brew is good so no complaints here. We tried stargazer and sonder. Both amazing. They do not serve food but there are food trucks and small vendors on the weekends. Place appeared to be kid friendly as kids were there with their parents. What a pretty cool brewery to kick back with friends. Fresno has plenty of breweries, but something about this place is special. Plenty of others share the same sentiment, because this place is always popping. Its family and dog friendly, so bring everybody! The place is HUGE, but because its so popular it might be hard to find seating especially if you have a bigger party. They also offer outside seating as well. Don't let that deter you though, service is fast regardless of the lines and the friendly workers are always quick to give recs. One thing I will say though is that they only have two single stall bathrooms, and once a line builds up it can take forever. There's plenty of porta potties outside if you're bold enough though. Speaking of outside, they always have 1-2 food trucks whenever you're hungry. They truly have everything. They also offer community events, for example a group of us came on bingo night. The MC was super energetic and overall the experience was enjoyable. Drinks are solid. The Dark Horse is pretty much on everybody's map. This hard seltzer is sweet and you can drink it like juice. They also offer to blend it as an icee and its perfect for hot days. My go to is their jasmine rice lager. If that's your thing, highly recommend. They got something for everybody though. read more

Great place to hang out with friends! You order inside and then can sit indoors to watch sports games, or sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. There are food trucks parked in the outdoor seating area, such as tacos, bbq, or sweet treats. Service is very quick and the menu is very easy to order from. Most of the options are on tap. My favorites are the seltzers. I usually start with Dark Horse, which is a boysenberry and vanilla seltzer. Then I'll end with either Hello Sunshine (watermelon and lime) or Lady Marmalade (dragonfruit, yuzu, lemon). These go really well with loaded fries from the taco truck! read more

My personal favorite is Dark Horse, it's so creamy and flavorful, which I never expected from a seltzer, but you really can't go wrong with any of them! Employees are helpful, service is great. It can get crowded; but that's to be expected with a place like this. I love that they have various events going on, you can find a food truck almost every night. So I'm checking other reviews for C&W. Most rate this place pretty good. I came here with a friend and it is good. But in comparison to other breweries, I guess I just don't see it. All breweries have certain things in common and this one is no exception. In other word, C&W is on par (average) with other breweries I've been to. For me, to be 4 or 5 stars, something better than expected needs to occur. Nowadays, that could be great prices, a huge selection, awesome food, exceptional staff, etc....to name a few. But I didn't experience any of these. Alternatively, nothing bad happened either. Now I did find one of their seltzers to be pretty good...good enough that I bought a 4-pak to go. But I wouldn't call it exceptional. Parking here was limited...we parked on the street. All the staff that we interacted with were cool. We did munch on some chips and salsa (paid) that were tasty. There are also a few big screens so you can keep up with your team. I'll definitely stop back in here again if I'm in the area. Maybe I'll experience something to support raising my rating. read more

Every time I've been they've had food trucks, which is nice if you're looking for a bite to eat. Ambiance is pretty typical for a brewery, same vibe as most! I am extremely angry and disappointed with Crow and Wolf Brewery. After spending $60 on one of their branded growlers, I was just informed that they will no longer fill it. Are you kidding me? Do they understand why people buy growlers in the first place? It's absolutely absurd. To make matters worse, they tried to sell me an accessory to turn my growler into a water bottle! I mean, really? I didn't buy a growler to drink water out of it. A brewery that won't fill growlers with fresh brew has completely missed the point. Now, I'm left with the option to buy cans that were filled who knows when, and I have to pay CRV on top of it. I pay enough taxes as it is. Plus, I can get the same cans at retailers for cheaper, so why bother returning to the brewery at all? It's truly a shame. I thought Crow and Wolf was the best thing to happen to Clovis as far as breweries go, but now I'm reconsidering. It's as if whatever is going wrong over at MachineHead finally spread across the street to Crow and Wolf. What a huge disappointment. read more

I was in town for work and stopped by this place on a Wednesday afternoon. I can't believe how packed it was! As the evening went on, it kept getting more crowded, with adults and children alike. After tasting the beers, I know why. Everything I had was delicious. I had a flight plus a few more. I had the black IPA which I was disappointed in, but absolutely everything else was amazing. Service was good, everyone seemed friendly. Peaches and Frostbite were my favorite. There were a few food trucks outside on the huge outdoor area.
