Hula night tonight at machine Head brewery. Great local brews. Food trucks.groback sushi and Snow Cafe and marcelino's Wood-Fired pizza. A bunch of great local tropical themed brews for tonight's event. Beautiful night to be out in Clovis

Came here for a graduation party and it made an awesome first impression. The outside is massive, tons of seating and kid friendly. Nice outdoor decor without being over the top or pretentious-just nice to sit in and feels like there was a little more thought put into the patio. Inside looks cool, vibey, tons of seating, and LOVE the barn aesthetic with the steel brewery components. Nice place and nice beer selection, would definitely come back with friends or suggest it for a party or event!

The dude and I came to MachineHead Brewing on 5/22/21 for the Clovis Brew Fest which was our first stop. It was such a hot day too so we were looking forward to trying this place out. Upon arrival the line was out the door! But definitely waitable! Inside no one was wearing masks which is no surprise as we are in the heart of Clovis. The dude and I were the only ones wearing our face masks. The line kept growing behind us more and more and we were happy we entered the line when we did! Anywho, I am programmed to have my ID ready as but didn't get carded at all nor the dude. The crowd here was a mixture of youngsters to older adults which was nice to see. The place was filling up quick so the dude and I snagged a large table which may be selfish for us but we made sure another party had room on the other side to sit so we didn't feel as bad. I ended up getting the Mr. Tangerine Man while the dude got Hazed and Confused. Mr. T was delicious sweet and tasty definitely enjoyed it very much! I wasn't really a fan of the dudes drink was very bitter. Staff was very friendly too and we probably stayed there for an hour sipping our drinks, chatting and enjoying the Princess music and vibes here. I believe they are pet friendly as a lot of peeps brought their poochs! They have an outdoor patio which was beautiful! By our surprise there were so many kids here and adorbs babies (no judgement here) we just were not expecting that at all! I guess this place is family friendly or maybe just the overall Brew Fest who knows so you can totally bring the kids. We totally enjoyed our time here and love how close this place is to us! We will be coming back wish they just stayed open later during the weekday for us 8am to 5ers. If you haven't tried this gem you won't be disappointed at all something for everyone to enjoy. We can't wait to come back!!!

Every beer is delicious. You definitely can't go wrong with any Machinehead beer. My server was Stephanie. She is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about beer and hop varieties. There is lots of seating indoors and outdoors! I can't wait to come in the evening to experience the lit up Edison lights in the beer garden.

Super great place! The brewer/owner was super helpful and friendly! I "chose mosaic by mornin'"and my husband preferred the "electric haze." Great patio, great beer, great service. What else is needed on a gorgeous day? Would recommend and will be back.

Love this place!!! Love!!! -fun industrial/farmhouse feel -large patio or indoor seating -nice bathrooms with large mirrors (choose the bathroom on the right ladies) -delicious beer (looking for something light, go with the Pilsner) -nice staff! Everyone was friendly and smiling and super kind -great crowd! Are you a new 21 year old...you'll fit in. Are you 40+? Great! You'll probably run into someone you know. Are you 60?! Cool. I think you'll like it here. -food trucks parked outside Fun place to grab a bite to eat and hang out.

Thought I had written a review for Machinehead already but that might have been on Google Maps when I attended for their grand opening celebration. Either way, I have been a fan since the first sip. They came out guns blazing, and have not slowed down since. An unofficial motto of this brewery appears to be: Quality over quantity. They don't cut corners when crafting their beers, so although some offering are on the pricier side of beers/crowlers, you will taste the difference. Thankfully they designed the brewery with a lot of outdoor seating so they were able to still seat and serve people when it was allowed during all the rule switching from the state. There to-go orders I'm sure helped them continue to thrive during fprced closures. I always keep an eye on their Instagram account because they share all the new beer releases on their page. Some small batch sours are not available for crowler fills, but a majority of their beers are available for fills and to-go orders. Thankfully outdoor seating has opened back up so go check out their spacious patio. See ya there

I was looking for a place I hadn't been to yet so my friend told me about Machinehead Brewing. It was tucked away off of Herndon. It's very cute and decent in size. The patio has plenty of seating with heaters and a couple tables with fire pits. The bar tender was very helpful in finding a beer the suits your taste. If you're not sure of what you want you can sample something first. I enjoyed the beer I chose with nice weather and good company. They also sell some pretty decent merch. I recommend this place if you want good beer and great service.

Surprised I haven't left Machinehead a review yet -great time every time I visit. Most recent visit was the first Saturday in May 22 during the Tacos-Taps_Trolley trail in Clovis. Great outdoor/indoor beer garden/patio. So many tables, chairs, seating areas , among their trees and misters and shaded outdoor space. Love the clean design aesthetic of their bar area. We tried two different beers-both delicious. Can't wait to go back ! A must stop on the Clovis brew trail. Friendly service.

Stopped in for the first time this last Sunday Funday. Was pleased to find a lot of good sours. As a long time sour lover, I'm really enjoying their recent trendiness. The spouse and I stayed for 2 beers each, and lot of good conversation. The prices are average. Not a good deal, but not a bad deal either. The beertender was friendly and the atmosphere was chill. We almost left without trying anything upon discovering they don't have any AC but the place was fairly empty at 2pm so we were able to sit right in front of one of the mobile AC machines they had throughout the place. It messed up my hair but it was better than being hot. I definitely think we'll avoid this place from April to September, but the winter months should make this place incredibly inviting.

My BIL came into town and wanted to check out some new spots that have opened up since he re-located and I brought him here. It was a sunny afternoon, not too busy, we got our drinks and sat outside in their patio area and it was super nice. Very spacious, the beer was good, we all like IPA's and they had a very smooth beer to enjoy. It is a bit hidden, we saw the sign on the main street, but it would be nice to maybe have another one half way through the drive in on the side street to know you are going in the right direction, I drove slow since I didn't know where I was going. Other than that, we enjoyed the beers, the scenery and it would be lovely to come back again.

First things first. The owner is so passionate about making good quality beer first. Everything I have tried there was nothing less then excellent. They have everything, light refreshing, stouts, hazy IPA's and the list goes on. I don't live in Fresno any more-but EVERYTIME I'm in town this is a mandatory stop.

What a great little beer garden. You can bring outside food and drink and make it into a picnic. I even saw people getting food delivered. Sounds like sometimes they have a food truck but it's not guaranteed (we're here on a Sunday and no food truck) so better off bringing a picnic. Printed menu for the week! Pretty cool, sounds like there's fun new flavors rotating every week. Rob is the owner, it's a family owned business and they're WONDERFUL. Overall a great time and wonderful atmosphere.

To the crew, is it ok to bring in outside food?

Absolutely fine to bring in outside food.

    Are they dog-friendly?

    Yes

Can you bring in outside food?

They have rotating food trucks/stands but I think you can bring in your own food as nobody is really stopping you at the door

The staff actually knows the menu and can walk you through whats on tap without making you feel dumb for asking. The space is great too. Industrial but warm, good energy, not too loud to have an actual conversation. It fills up but doesn't feel chaotic. Its in Clovis which from Fresno is nothing, like a 10 minute drive. Totally worth it for a Friday night out or even just a low key weekday hang. Prices are reasonable for a brewery. Nothing here feels overpriced. Just a really solid spot. Go with friends.

I like how the location is tucked away and not on the main strip of Herndon, I like the amount of outdoor seating, the misters on the north side which helped a lot because there's plenty of shade on the East but the sun will beat on you around the other side. Only downside was there were no outside TV's, they did bring one from inside but with the sun it was hard to have an angle that allowed everybody to watch. The beers were great, I wish I could recall what I had but the only one I recall was taboo 50/50. EXCELLENT. The staff was friendly, helpful, and inviting. The place was packed, most there for the USMNT's World Cup opener and I feel like they handled the crowd well. Only reason I don't give this place a more favorable review is the food options and the restroom situation, the mobile lavatories and the food trucks were a real bummer, this is a big location and it feels like they could've fit a kitchen in there somewhere. I'm a bit of a prude though I don't care for food trucks but theres nothing else being offered no chips, no nuts, no small eats. I did see a party inside with little Caesar's and stuff but idk if that's allowed for everybody or just a group party offering. But the mobile restrooms were nasty, humid, dirty, and just felt like a bad option for the area, the steps and the people stumbling out of them idk. Aside from those two things it was a cool spot.

This is just a beer bar, so beers and seltzers only. I went with the Crow and Wolf Ocean Blast seltzer; a blue coconut, mango, pineapple, and lime beverage. Insanely good and refreshing on a hot afternoon. My wife went a peach seltzer that was just as tasty. We sat in the backyard area, that offers plenty of seating, a few TVs, and a ordering window so you don't need to head to the inside bar to order more drinks. The out area has smoking and non-smoking sections and is dog friendly, but they must be leashed. For food, we went the tri-tip BBQ pizza and a soft pretzel. The pizza was delicious and the perfect size for two people. Huge chunks of tri-tip, spicy BBQ sauce, and very cheesy. I asked for jalapenos on the side for an extra kick of heat. And the outdoor seating was very enjoyable. We had our two children with us. And they were fine. But we were originally with a group of 8 other people who had children as well. Some more energetic than ours. We drove 45 minutes for what we thought was a brewery that had its own grassy area that you can sit and drink. From the pictures it seems there's a "children's area" so your kids can run around/burn off energy while you enjoy a delicious adult beverage. The fact you can bring your OWN food is great too especially if you have picky little ones they could have their own picnic! However, that was not the case. The beer, live music, and ambiance is great. Bringing in your own food--also great! BUT there is no grassy area that belongs to the establishment. It is a public green area that you CANNOT bring your drink out to. The bouncy house, and live music pictured is probably a special event but I imagine you'd still not be able to bring your beverages out to. Again we loved this place for us and our kids but it wasn't what we thought it was and was not a good fit for our entire group. Just didn't want any other families, who happen to love a good beer AND have a family, to be disappointed.
