I was standing in line, second or third, when another employee opened a register and pulled someone from behind me just because they were a regular. That didn't sit right with me, and it honestly kept me from coming back for a long time. That said, even back then, I tried a few flights and remember the beers being solid across the board. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad either, just consistently middle-of-the-road. Fast forward to today, and it feels like a completely different place. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by George, who was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, he took the time to answer questions, explain the brewery's history, and make thoughtful recommendations. He suggested the chips and dip, which I highly recommend, simple but really well done. I ended up going through three flights this time: a dark/malty flight, a hazy flight, and a sour flight. The sour lineup was fantastic across the board. That said, the standout of the entire visit was the dark Kölsch. It was exceptional and easily the best beer I had. Even the red ale, which I normally don't enjoy, was surprisingly solid. Overall, everything I tried was at least a 5/10 or better. Nothing here dips below average, and several options are genuinely impressive. For context, I tend to grade beer pretty harshly. I've tried a wide range of beers and actively seek out harder-to-find options, so if I'm calling something "middle of the road," most people will probably find it better than that. This lineup will land well for the average beer drinker. The atmosphere has also improved significantly. They've added more seating, expanded into a second room with pinball machines, and the music has been consistently great the entire time I've been here. The front room has four TVs, with one dedicated to the menu and three playing sports, which adds to the relaxed, social vibe. The space is clean, well-maintained, and easy to enjoy whether you're with friends or on a casual date. Parking is decent, around 20-25 spots, and wasn't an issue. What really stands out is how much this place has improved overall. If you had blindfolded me and brought me here today, I wouldn't believe it was the same place I visited three years ago. I'm still not thrilled about how that first visit went, but credit where it's due, this place has made a major turnaround. Between the service, the atmosphere, and the quality of the beer, especially that dark Kölsch, I would absolutely recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be back.

We liked it so much we came back the next day after our long day at Sequoia! Street parking available adjacent to this spot! The space is very inviting, modern, and clean! Large bar dominates the interior of the space, with tables around the perimeter and a decent set of outdoor spots as well! Floor to ceiling windows invite plenty of natural light to flood the space! Staff is friendly enough :) The beer is refreshing, with a decent diversity of styles and flavors! Micheladas looked tasty and were popular with the other drinkers around. Pizza and pretzel were both above average and tasty! We always will give Pickle Pizza a try, and this one is great!

The pickle pizza sounds unusual at first, but it somehow works perfectly seasoned well, tangy, and addicting. The fig and prosciutto pizza is my other go to because it has that sweet and savory balance that makes every bite good. Their crust is thin with a nice crisp texture that doesn't feel too heavy. They also have a solid beer and wine selection, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends or do a casual date night. The vibe inside is relaxed with mostly indoor seating, but they do have some outdoor seating available too and it's great when the weather is nice. Overall, it's one of my favorite pizza spots in Fresno when I want something a little more elevated but still laid back. Pictured: the Hot Honey Chicken Pizza

Our drink orders were taken right away, and then the waitress said she was going home and we were given a new waitress to finish our food order. Our food came, and we barely took one bite yet, and the waitress asked how everything was. A bit premature, then she disappeared and we didn't have great service after. Never had our water refilled. We had to flag her down to ask for another drink. And the thing was they weren't that busy at this point, because the dinner crowd had all left. The food itself was ok. I ordered fired calamari with a sweet chili dipping sauce. This was just ok. I wouldn't order it again. My husband had a burger and fries, which he said was good. My friend had a southwest chicken salad, and she said it was decent. We enjoyed listening to our friends play music and had a few drinks as well. My classic margarita was tasty. In our group we also ordered the elderflower lemonade, the rosemary grapefruit spritz, and a coffee banana martini, and they all enjoyed their drinks. The restaurant itself is new with plenty of tables and booths and a few pub chairs and tables near the live music. I would say this is a burger and a pint kind of place. Don't expect anything too fancy

Even so, they were still really good and something we'd definitely order again. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Overall, a great lunch and we'll be back!

We arrived 15mins before the reservation and they were able to sit us right away. Our waitress was nice even when I asked her to recommend me a drink. She recommended three drinks, the most popular ones and I tried them all. She had a good personality which made our dining experience even better. The food was delicious, my husband ordered the baby back ribs which were good but after trying my sirloin he couldn't go back to them. Which is to say, their sirloin was excellent! Of course you'd have to get the poozokies. It was also my birthday so I received the birthday one which was much bigger than the poozokie flight. It was the strawberry one. You got to choose one. They were very generous for the birthday dessert. The ambiance was also great.! Everybody was having a good time and we were able to sit on a booth facing the bar area, and which gives you the whole view of the restaurant. They also have cornhole boards out front in case you're waiting for your table. It would have been nice to take my drink out there and play a few games with my family. I probably would have kept ordering more. Overall great experience. The only bad thing is that I really wanted the margarita flight. That's the reason why we had gone in the first place. It was on the menu but they didn't have any at all. It was a bummer.

I've been here when everything clicked and it was a great night out. I've also been here when we waited 20 minutes to get our drink order taken and another 45 for food that came out lukewarm. same location, totally different energy depending on the day and who you get. for a chain with this much experience it shouldn't feel like a gamble. the space is nice and its open late which matters in Fresno where options thin out after 10pm. I'll keep coming back for the pizookie and late night hangs but I always go in knowing it might be a smooth visit or a frustrating one. would love to give it more stars consistently. just not quite there yet.
