New brewery alert! They have completed gutted the old brewery that was here before, and made this location welcoming, bright, and super clean. This is a huge step in the right direction because this place looked like a dungeon before lol. So right off the bat, that was good news. More importantly than the look of the place is the beer of course! I have tried 3 or 4 pints when they had minor accounts with some local businesses in fresno/clovis and the beers were all good. But since it was our first time in, we grabbed a flight of 4 other new beers we hadn't tried. All were good. We tried a hazy and a juicy ipa, the cream ale and a lager. The lager with a hint of cream ale was surprisingly tasty! Only weird part was when he closed me out, I didn't sign anything or get a chance to tip. I would have liked to tip so I was confused by that part. Anyways, I'm glad there is another quality brewery in the Clovis area. We will be back for sure!

Had a great time watching my son play! It's new, nice, clean and spacious. Beer was fairly priced. I liked that we had to option to buy chips and salsa. We went with a large party and they let us rearrange the tables and chairs. They also let you sample the beer. I would definitely go back!

This place is where Tac Ops used to be, but I love that they kept some of the industrial touches. The owners were very quick to recommend their favorite beers based off of what I liked, and I enjoyed being able to order a flight and sample more than one.

Great selection and nice atmosphere. Did not go for the food but they have a rotating group of food vendors that do come in. Great place.

"Great Beer, Great Food, Wonderful View!"…read more I could not believe my good fortune! I've never been here before, but decided to give this taproom a try. I felt right at home as soon as I walked in the front door. The server, Sparkle, was super friendly, and made some great suggestions for me. Guess what--they have a band coming in a few hours with a saxophone! I'm pretty sure they're bringing the band in just for me, but I could be wrong. During the crisis, you have to sit outside of course, but no problem. They've got a lot of tables on the patio, where you get a great view of the downtown area. So there I was, relaxing with a wonderful plate of street tacos, and a beer in hand, watching the beautiful downtown Clovis area. On my visit today I ordered a Pilsner and paired it with fish tacos. Yes, the pilsner was good, but I expected that. The two fish tacos surprise me. They are actually quite large. They're made in a little different style than I'm used to. The tortillas are actually more crunchy, with crunchy fish, of course, as well as cabbage and a mild sauce. It also includes slices of lime. It doesn't get any better than this folks. So all around, a wonderful visit. One of my favorite breweries, in one of my favorite towns.

The steak bites were really good. It comes with a creamy chimichurri sauce and a Sriracha sauce that is pretty spicy. This is something I would get again. For the meal, I ordered the Sweet Heat Chicken Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. The sandwich was good. The apricot jalapeño jam added sweetness without being overpowering or disrupting. However, there was no heat. I went with the sweet potato fries for the side because a lot of the reviews spoke favorably of them. They were good, as sweet potato fries tend to be, but no different from any other place. The curry aoli it came with was tasty and it would be worth ordering just to try.

Our drink orders were taken right away, and then the waitress said she was going home and we were given a new waitress to finish our food order. Our food came, and we barely took one bite yet, and the waitress asked how everything was. A bit premature, then she disappeared and we didn't have great service after. Never had our water refilled. We had to flag her down to ask for another drink. And the thing was they weren't that busy at this point, because the dinner crowd had all left. The food itself was ok. I ordered fired calamari with a sweet chili dipping sauce. This was just ok. I wouldn't order it again. My husband had a burger and fries, which he said was good. My friend had a southwest chicken salad, and she said it was decent. We enjoyed listening to our friends play music and had a few drinks as well. My classic margarita was tasty. In our group we also ordered the elderflower lemonade, the rosemary grapefruit spritz, and a coffee banana martini, and they all enjoyed their drinks. The restaurant itself is new with plenty of tables and booths and a few pub chairs and tables near the live music. I would say this is a burger and a pint kind of place. Don't expect anything too fancy

The pickle pizza sounds unusual at first, but it somehow works perfectly seasoned well, tangy, and addicting. The fig and prosciutto pizza is my other go to because it has that sweet and savory balance that makes every bite good. Their crust is thin with a nice crisp texture that doesn't feel too heavy. They also have a solid beer and wine selection, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends or do a casual date night. The vibe inside is relaxed with mostly indoor seating, but they do have some outdoor seating available too and it's great when the weather is nice. I was looking at the menu and noticed they offer half orders and full portions. Honestly, when I looked at the prices, there was only about a $2 difference, so we decided to get the full portion because you get a lot more food for just a little extra. We sat at the bar and had a drink while we waited for our food. The bartender was super friendly and made it a fun place to be! Our food also came out pretty quickly, which was a plus. Both the calamari and chicken nachos were really good! The chicken nachos were probably my favorite. The chicken had a lot of flavor, and I liked that they came with salsa as well. Everything was really tasty and made for the perfect appetizers while having drinks. Honestly, Livingstones is one of those places we like to stop by when we're in the Tower District, even if we're just there to have a drink and hang out. A lot of people have told us that we need to come back and try their dinner menu. I haven't had dinner here yet, but I've heard nothing but good things about their food, and after trying their calamari and chicken nachos, I can see why people recommend it. Overall, this is a great place to get drinks, hang out with friends, or enjoy some appetizers. If you don't want to sit at the bar area, they also have a separate area where you can sit down and enjoy a nice dinner with friends or even go on a date. Livingstones is definitely a fun spot in the Tower District, and I'll continue coming back!
