I ended up at Summer Park's Brewing today by accident, and I'm really glad I gave it another shot. My first visit here was about three years ago on a busy Friday night, and it left a bad impression. I was standing in line, second or third, when another employee opened a register and pulled someone from behind me just because they were a regular. That didn't sit right with me, and it honestly kept me from coming back for a long time. That said, even back then, I tried a few flights and remember the beers being solid across the board. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad either, just consistently middle-of-the-road. Fast forward to today, and it feels like a completely different place. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by George, who was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, he took the time to answer questions, explain the brewery's history, and make thoughtful recommendations. He suggested the chips and dip, which I highly recommend, simple but really well done. I ended up going through three flights this time: a dark/malty flight, a hazy flight, and a sour flight. The sour lineup was fantastic across the board. That said, the standout of the entire visit was the dark Kölsch. It was exceptional and easily the best beer I had. Even the red ale, which I normally don't enjoy, was surprisingly solid. Overall, everything I tried was at least a 5/10 or better. Nothing here dips below average, and several options are genuinely impressive. For context, I tend to grade beer pretty harshly. I've tried a wide range of beers and actively seek out harder-to-find options, so if I'm calling something "middle of the road," most people will probably find it better than that. This lineup will land well for the average beer drinker. The atmosphere has also improved significantly. They've added more seating, expanded into a second room with pinball machines, and the music has been consistently great the entire time I've been here. The front room has four TVs, with one dedicated to the menu and three playing sports, which adds to the relaxed, social vibe. The space is clean, well-maintained, and easy to enjoy whether you're with friends or on a casual date. Parking is decent, around 20-25 spots, and wasn't an issue. What really stands out is how much this place has improved overall. If you had blindfolded me and brought me here today, I wouldn't believe it was the same place I visited three years ago. I'm still not thrilled about how that first visit went, but credit where it's due, this place has made a major turnaround. Between the service, the atmosphere, and the quality of the beer, especially that dark Kölsch, I would absolutely recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be back. read more

Came here for line dancing. Everyone was having a great time. The host was friendly. The pizza smelled really good too. It was being ordered like crazy. Wasn't sure if they had a low-carb cauliflower crust option. I'll definitely have to look into that next time. I also enjoyed that it was all ages. I stop into Summer Fox from time to time and it's consistently good. Wide beer selection with quality to match. The Bine Breaker IPA is one of my favorites, and if the seasonal Mall Rat from Grayview is on tap, a hazy IPA with orange and vanilla, don't sleep on it. This is a great brewery with great owners that have an amazing passion for beer and events! Summer Fox is right down the road from me and one of the few breweries in North West Fresno! They have an inside bar area and an outside where they have bands and other events when the weather permits. The servers are always nice and on it when it comes to serving beer and the food is great for the price range! I would highly recommend coming in and trying a few beers out because you'll definitely find one that you like. read more

I came here for a soccer board meeting and went home raving to my husband that we need to go back; well I took him back for Father's Day! The atmosphere is awesome, relaxed, lively, friendly and fun! When we were there karaoke started (around 7ish), when I was there for the board meeting it was Trivia Night, and they also have a Bingo Night some other time during the week! When you walk in just go grab a table, then when you're ready to order simply go up to the counter and place your order. The food is ok, it's a limited menu, but you're really there to enjoy the large variety of unique beers. NOTE: this is/can be a kid-friendly environment. When I was there during the week there were numerous families with kids. When we were there on a weekend we were the only family with a kid. So it's kinda hit or miss but kids are welcome and there are game options for them as well. read more

Talk about a hidden gem on the west side of town! I went to this brewery and was immediately greeted. The beer selection is wide and the bartenders are very informational about their beverages. The brewery looks small when you enter but they actually have a huge backyard area that they sometimes have live music at. I don't know the schedule but I will say it's a great place to bring a group of friends and hang out. Parking is a little limited but there is street parking. The pizza was flavorful and the beers were crisp and refreshing. The entire staff was very nice and made you feel welcomed. Overall, I will come back with some more friends to enjoy their variety of drinks and cool vibe! read more

I attend a Yelp event on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Summer Fox Brewing. The brewery is located next to a veterinary clinic and there was ample parking at 5:45 pm The brewery was clean and had a good vibe to it. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about their beer menu/selection. There was plenty of seating and TV's; they aired the MLB playoffs which was a nice bonus. They brewery also offers patio seating (I failed to check this out). But I can say, the brewery (& patio) is in close proximity to the train tracks. So when that train comes by, it loud and can feel the vibrations. This is a big no for me personally. We were offered a variety of food samples. My favorite was the Garlic Cheese Bread. Perfect amount of garlic and it was served piping hot. Added bonus, stretchy, hot mozzarella..oh yeah, say no more. It was very flavorful and had a thin crust. I would definitely recommend and order this again. Sampled their bbq chicken pizza. It was ok nothing spectacular. The chicken was a bit bland (maybe some garlic would improve the flavor). In my experience, bbq chicken pizza typically had some red onion; this pizza didn't have any red onion. And it needed a bit more bbq sauce. I think a gourmet bbq sauce with some spice would have knocked out of the park. Pepperoni pizza was so sampled as it was pretty tasty. The pepperoni was a bit salty and not overly greasy. I would order this again. The crust was not thick, but in the thinner side, which is what I prefer. The pretzel was just ok. It was soft and average. The mustard was a spicy type of mustard and elevated the blandness of the pretzel. I probably would not order this menu item only because it was average and didn't appear to be made in house. Homemade pretzels with topping options would be a hit (i.e., pepperoni/cheese, pepperoni/jalapeños or garlic Parmesan, etc) We were served the Clovis Avenue Blonde Ale, it was pretty good but in all fairness, I'm not a beer drinker so my review on their beers might be underrated. We also sampled the Strawberry Wizards Hat. It was good with a decent strawberry flavor. My friend ordered the Jamaica Cream Seltzer and it was delicious. It tasted like a legit cream soda (sweet). I would definitely order this again. The bathrooms were gender neutral and clean and fully stocked. Overall, I recommend you pay Summer Fox Brewing a visit. read more

We came out to have a couple of beers at this place. The bartender gave us several recommendations and was pleasant and friendly. The drinks were exactly what we were looking for. There was a taco truck for the night, had quesabirria tacos and also tried out the nachos from the brewery. Food went great with the drinks. There was live music who was taking requests from the crowd. Loved that we got to choose some music, the crowd was fun, some got up to dance and the whole place had a chill kick back vibe. Went there yest 5/8/25 for a doc premier. It was a nice place. Kinda narrow to navigate for a person in a wheelchair, but I understand that I'm a minority being a wc user and don't expect them to conform. It was my first time there and I got a seltzer that I didn't like too much. And that was the time I realized that I wasnt a fan of seltzers-it didn't have any bearing on the quality seltzer that they gave me...it was just the fact that I didn't like seltzer prods. So the own (Jason) graciously overheard my statement and took care of me which I really appreciated. We engaged in casual convo which I appreciated. What a neat little place. Seems like it would be great for small events/gatherings. Decent size. I came here for a Magic show they hosted in the back room. I came here specifically for the show, but I decided to order some food and a non alcoholic beverage. So this review is on the vibe of the place and the food, not the brewing/beer aspect. It was a very relaxing/casual vibe all around and plenty of spaces to sit about 45 minutes before the show was scheduled to start. They have a sitting area as you first walk in, then there is a separate area for the event. It's only separated by a wall with windows and a door, so you can still see what's going on in the event area, and I'm sure you can probably hear what's going on too. You have to go up to the counter to order food or drinks, then you sit. I ordered a combination pizza, which was tasty enough, good amount of toppings, dough was soft. Considering this isn't a restaurant and the menu is made up of appetizers, I thought it was good. This is a personal size pizza, for $12. Do what you will with that information. I also ordered a bottled mineral water (Topo Chico!). They have sodas, waters, juices available for purchase in addition to the beers on tap. They gave me a number and brought out the food to me when it was ready. Other than that, all service is at the bar. Again, this is a great little place, nice area, nice atmosphere, lots of parking, clean restrooms. Can't wait to come back and drink an adult beverage. :) read more

Went to Summer Fox yesterday. Nice atmosphere, everyone working was happy to be there, helpful and smiling. I love how everyone employee there knew every beer on the menu and could give you a breakdown of how they taste and what you would like based on your preference. They had live music last night, it was a great, lively environment. There were people dancing all around and the band that was there was super fun, played great music and really engage with everyone there. It was fun and yet relaxing. All the customers there seem to be having a great time, there was great conversations happening and I also love that they're dog friendly. Good times read more

The atmosphere here is where it's at. I am not a big fan of breweries but this place I would come back to, to hang with buddies. The food is average at best. I had the BBQ chicken pizza lacked on the BBQ sauce, pepperoni pizza, garlic cheese bread which is just a garlic pizza, and pretzel bite. The best one was the pepperoni. These make for great additions to the beer that you would have here. Now the beers were decent. I had a strawberry brew, it was tart, but it was quite enjoyable for me. Their popular brew that I had, was decent, but I most likely would try something else. They have events all the time. There's live music out on the patio when the weather permits. They have open comedy mic nights. There is trivia night that will go for 2 hours. Everyone seems to really enjoy themselves here. I would recommend this place for groups of friends to come and enjoy. I wouldn't consider this place to be a date night unless, both of you just want to come and have drinks. I really like the vibe in that there is a chance of meeting people if you are single. I like this place. The parking lot seems a little dark but don't let that scare you away. The beer, service and venue are all really good. They will give you a taste of any beer you want to try. I recommend tasting the beer you're going to order to make sure you like it or not. I like the chips and dips as well as the pizza. Not a fan of the pretzel and their ranch is not good. This great little place is tucked away, so don't blink! Not much to see on the outside, but don't let that fool you! The beer, food, service and atmosphere are definitely worth going back for again and again. Kevin and Greg are welcoming and warm. The front room has a Nintendo and board games to play with friends. The back room has Tic-Tac-Toe, and oversized Jenga and Connect Four. The back room is a little warmer, but where else can you sit amongst the magic makers?! I asked if there was anyway I could get a new drink at the amount it was at or less and the girl that is normally not at this location said "no. We are outside there's bugs. Soo yeah". The beer is great. The customer service is just okay. This is what influences my rating. All week on the Summer Fox social media they've been hyping up food trucks, beer keg outside,and music 5-9. I get a group of my friends to come down assuming we're going to be able to enjoy the whole night outside and not have to leave the patio because the bar inside is extremely cramped. I get there there's no keg, no food truck except their bland overcooked food, and the music didn't start till 7. By the time 7 hits my friends and I are hungry so we have to leave. We ended up going next door to Toledos to eat and don't get to listen to the music, we're starving, and we're not buzzed because we limited how many beers we had because we didn't want to deal with the cramped bar that was summer fox. read more

Check this place out!!! They have 24 types of beer. There is a little something for everyone, unless you don't like beer but they also serve wine. They have a limited menu but enough to satisfy you. Every Friday & Saturday they have a live band. Sundays are for football games on several TVs and Thursdays are karaoke. The servers were very friendly and very knowledgeable about their beer. This is a great place to go hangout with friends and drink. They do have a corking fee but I don't know how much. I am very excited we finally give this place a try. Watch out Fresno there's a new brewery in town and guess what: it's fantastic!!! They just opened and I think it's the perfect location because there's no breweries on that side of town. They carry other beers on tap from other breweries. They're currently starting to brew theirs since they recently got their license. We had a chance to try their raspberry hazy which was delicious. Can't wait to return to try what they whip up next. They're going to be constantly rotating their taps. They even offer food to please your tummy as well. Did the pub run with my friend and her mom. We were excited to grab drinks after our run. We all ordered a drink each and ordered some food items. First and foremost. The girl that took our order in the front on 10/26 was very rude. Second, our food took forever to come out. We let it slide since it is a busy night because there was an event, but food came out past an hour. A couple around us received their food items so late. They ended up giving us the rest because they had to leave. Third, the cheese dip for the pretzel/dip was very watery. We kept joking to each other that it looked like Elmer's glue. Honestly, not sure what kind of cheese it is, but it was bad. The only pro to this whole experience is the fact that they had clean bathrooms. Probably won't ever come back. Would rather make the drive and get drinks at Tioga in downtown. read more
