Who knows where else the dog goes during off hours if allowed in during business? We cancelled our order and left. We went to another restaurant in town and mentioned this to the owner there and they agreed it was wrong. And also proceeded to tell us rules even concerning service dogs in a restaurant. ( Which obviously is a different situation and they don't roam dining areas). This is California Health Code Violation. Needless to say we won't be eating here again. The Code: H&SC § 114259.5 prohibits live animals inside, citing potential contamination of food, equipment, and utensils.

The pizza was delicious and the perfect size for two people. Huge chunks of tri-tip, spicy BBQ sauce, and very cheesy. I asked for jalapenos on the side for an extra kick of heat. I frequent the Clovis location and, by typical bar standards, it's definitely the prettier space. I feel much more welcomed there -- it has a friendlier, more inviting atmosphere. The Tower District location just didn't give that same energy. It took 5-10 minutes for a bartender to even acknowledge that the four of us were sitting at the side of the bar. They were busy, but not at capacity, so the delay felt excessive. Every single round of drinks took a long time to order, and we had to repeatedly remind them that we were still waiting. It was frustrating to feel like we had to fight just to be noticed. There didn't seem to be much urgency, and at times it felt like they simply didn't care that we were there. I also sensed some favoritism toward regulars. While I absolutely appreciate being taken care of as a regular somewhere, I also believe that every paying guest deserves attentiveness and respect. On the plus side, I did end up making new friends at the bar. We bonded over camaraderie -- and commiserating over feeling ignored.
