Roadhouse was already popular when they originally were in the old Koffee King location outside of Kingsburg, the move to downtown only made it even more so. Lots of great pub food choices, the chicken wings are always a favorite with a beer or two, the last time I tried their pastrami sandwich, and wasn't disappointed, not the best I've had but definitely top 5 edible. Service is always quick and friendly. The main thing that attracted me was the variety of Bay Area brews on tap, Russian River, Fieldwork, and even a few from the Central Coast too!! Overall the place could use a little better acoustics, concrete floors and metal chairs make for some interesting noises, maybe a little more artwork or banners on the walls would help. Driving on the 99 freeway? Stop in Kingsburg, CA for a drink and bite to eat! What a great find! Loved it here. The drinks were perfect and the food even better. Show appreciation to the kitchen staff by buying them a round of beers for only $12--not each, $12 for the entire round of however many staff work that day! It's been awhile since I made a visit to the beautiful town of Kingsburg, not much changes here. But that's not a bad thing as the people are more than welcoming and uber friendly. Just the same way with the staff at the Roadhouse. You tend to see the same staff which means they take care of their people and it must be a great place to work at since they are always smiling. This past weekend we had a date night with a late lunch/early dinner. Both my wife and I had their party melt and i added some grilled mushrooms. I'm from Los Angeles and eat out at a lot of top restaurants, so when I stopped into Roadhouse while in town for work, I honestly had very low expectations. I just needed a meal. The food was incredible: the Brussels sprouts were absolutely divine, the burger was juicy and flavorful, and the patty melt was perfection. Everything was so good that we came back the very next day for lunch! But what really made the experience special was our server, Ashley. We came in today on a Friday at 11:30 because Roadhouse does fill up and by noon there was a standing line to get in so keep that in mind if you come at peak hours. They do have a large dining area and a nice bar area that has a good selection of micro brews and plenty of whiskey choices. There also is a patio area that is dog friendly. They mostly serve burgers but have salad choices and fish and chips. Today we were feeling like a salad so we ordered the wedge salad and added grilled chicken as the protein. As an afterthought I ordered a grilled shrimp skewer that is very good. So instead of adding the chicken as my protein I should have ordered the shrimp skewer and put that in my salad. I have had the wagyu burger before and recommend and also the fig burger. Even though every table was full the server was friendly and the food came out quick. My family suggested we meet at Roadhouse for lunch. I came into it with no expectations but left satisfied and a fan of the restaurant! The restaurant was bustling with diners and is a watering hole in Kingsburg for a reason. It's hip, and spacious, and offers indoor and outdoor dining. Our waitress was kind and our food came out timely. I don't eat beef and being they're known for burgers that's what people flock towards. Serving mainly burgers and sandwiches I got a Grilled Cluck Cluck with French Fries. The chicken was moist, the toppings were fresh, and the BBQ sauce was messy but tasty. My family also got their sandwiches. Portions are gigantic and all of us ate half and took the rest to go. There aren't many options in Kingsburg but Roadhouse is worth a try if you're in the Fresno area. The vibes are fun, the food is good for what you get, and it's a nice change of pace. I used to love this restaurant when it was Roadhouse 99 out in the countryside. Was great service, great atmosphere, cute little honkytonk bar attached. However, after moving to kingsburg and redoing it the service it not great, the food is not great, smaller portions of food (they no longer have there fries bucket) and it seems they upgraded to a fancier bar. Had to try out one of Fresno Bee's Best of Central California 2022 top winner! Although it's in Kingsburg it was a quick drive. It's located in downtown Kingsburg with a lot of available parking. When you first walk in, you're greeted by the staff and they ask if you'd like to sit in the bar or restaurant area. We first chose the restaurant area but didn't like the placement of the sitting and asked to move to the bar. The bar area was nice and we were helped quickly. They have a live screen menu of good variety of alcohol drinks and beers. It would be a perfect place to watch a sports game. For food, we started off with the pork belly and Mac bites. They're were good! We LOVED the pork belly bites def were our favs. I ordered the cowgirl burger, which contained the patty, 3 onion rings, cheese and bbq sauce. The burger was good but I didn't really taste the bbq sauce. The staff was nice, and without even asking, our server brought out with 3 different sauces for our fries. It was very thoughtful of him. I wanted to take a peek of their outdoor seating and I'm glad I did. They have a corn hole and connect 4 human size game! We will be back for the pork belly bites! This place is wonderful, yes, it was more crowded than usual due to the recent article in ABC30; but it is worth a stop and worth your patronage. The food here is amazing, the portions are more than generous, very filling, and you could seemingly not go wrong with whatever you pick from the menu. Drink selection is awesome, the staff were great and offered their favorite options that were the "must try" while we were here. Stopped by for some lunch with my friend and was very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant inside is pretty large and there's plenty of seating. Service was great - pretty fast and personable. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and was blown away. The pastrami was delicious, not too lean and had delicious crispy fat on it. Flavor was really good and sandwich came out nice n hot. It's served on buttered toasted sourdough with cheese, pickle, and Dijon inside. Everything complemented each other and I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite pastrami sandwich (Westwoods previously). My friend got the BLT and it looked packed full of crispy bacon. We both had half a sandwich left still, so the servings are more than enough to share or have leftovers. First let me say the food was good and hot and fresh. Now the service on the other hand not so good. except for the young lady at the register. She was very nice. Our Server on the other hand not so good. Lauren was our server for a party of 6 yesterday for lunch. She was rude and seemed as if she didn't even want to be there. Coming from me a person who has been in the customer service department for 19 years and counting. A little advice for you Lauren. Always Greet your Customers with a smile and make it look like you love your job and want to be there to serve your customers. Make them feel Welcome!!! Don't make them Feel Unwelcome!! Other than that the place is beautiful. I love the pattern on the ceiling I think you should complete the whole ceiling with that pattern I hope to return and the service be a lot better next time. read more

The WORST!!! Restaurant is 95% empty 10 minutes after lunch hour, only six people eating in the entire place. Our party of three request the corner booth. They won't let us sit there "because our oarty isn't big enough ". The manager comes over and confirms the denial. We are then seated 3 feet from the exact table we requested, which remains empty our entire meal. Needless to say, they have permanently lost three customers for life!!! read more

Came in for a quick lunch after we found out Brew wings was closed! My son ordered wings and fries and I ordered the steak sandwich. Wings are no Brew Wings but they're decent. I like my wings a little more crispy then they make them. The fired however are amazing My steak sandwich was perfect! The aioli sauce was so as advertised. The onion rings were crispy and the fries were over cooked (which isn't a big deal to me) The pork belly has an amazing crunch to it but was a bit too salty for my taste. Time to update my 2017 review for the new location! We discovered this place through Yelp while building a house in Tulare and commuting to the mortgage company in Kingsburg--and the 25-minute drive has been worth it ever since. I've asked ABC30 several times to feature them and was delighted that they recently did. Young brothers Adrian and Ernie, along with other family members, are the extremely hard-working core of the place. I love how they've kept their brand from the old, truly roadhouse location while kicking it up a notch with new entrees and appetizers like their crispy brussels sprouts--i don't even like brussels sprouts, but I like these! I have a hard time trying new entrees because I'm always hungry for either one of their great burgers or their site-smoked tri-tip sandwich. And always with some of the best onion rings I've ever had anywhere--perfectly crisped. Good value, great old-school food, and owners whose work ethic earn their success. More power to them. Was on a visit and after a long drive was starving. Had 2hrs to kill so came to this spot. Its in the nice downtown area side st entrance. Has an outdoor space. Ate inside. Big roomy space with sports on screens visible from any table. Big bar with a lot to choose from. We ordered pork belly bites. Server told us its a popular dish and for good reason! Perfectly cooked lightly crispy and warm and soft on inside. Served on a shredded bed of cabbage and a house sauce. Highly recommended. My Son ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was the first time He couldn't finish it. I ordered the tri tip sando very happy tender bites of tri-tip you never know mapt of the time tri-tip is on the tuff side they got it right.
