    Setting the Vibe
    Ambar R.

The waitress was super nice and friendly. Great atmosphere with real flowers and plants. The food was extremely delicious. There are not a lot of places here in Visalia that do wood fired pizza, so this is a plus. This is my go to spot in downtown Visalia and I will definitely come back

    Alfredo di Bufala

We've always been fans of this place. It has such a great vibe, whether we're sitting inside or out on the patio. This time, I had the Alfredo di Buffala, and it was amazing -- creamy, well-seasoned, and the added chicken breast was the perfect touch. We also ordered the Gambas al Ajillo, which had incredible flavor with just the right amount of kick and acidity. Miguel helped us, and he's always super friendly and attentive. Overall, it was such a nice lunch experience. We'll definitely keep coming back!

Really kind of service, accommodated when they're 10 minutes to closing. We were able to order three amazing woodfired pizzas price at about $20 each and a really great mocktail strawberry daiquiri. Margarita $20.05 5/5, most standard normal flavor. Perfect for our three-year-old. Spicy meat, pizza, name of which I forgot really great salami and really good cheese. Spice was great, strange bit of pancetta? Ham? On top. Did not mesh well with the pizza. Other members of my family commented that it was salty. I enjoyed it. However, the pizza dough is on the saltier side. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. We'll go back once we're in town again.

This restaurant is located downtown Visalia, so parking is extremely challenging..ALWAYS! But find parking bc this place is so worth it. I took a star off due to the seating..horribly tight seating and not enough tabletop space for cocktails, water glasses, appetizers, etc and way too loud. Kept hearing dishes being banged, etc everything just seemed to echo. Our waitress was friendly and engaging and definitely busy. The ambiance is casual and unfortunately not a great location for large groups. Here's what we had. Cocktail: 1. Old Fashioned: 4/10, bourbon was a bit too "oaky" I would have preferred WhistlePig, Buffalo Trace or Angels Envy. Cherry garnishment was thrown in the glass, no pick. Just a sad cocktail. Appetizers: 1. French fries; shoestring potatoes 10/10 2. Fried Artichoke Hearts: Lightly Fried Artichoke Hearts Served with Basil Cream. Unfortunately, there were so many bracts (tough leaves), we had to keep spitting them out. But the artichoke hearts were fantastic. 7/10 Mains: 1. FREE-RANGE CHICKEN MARSALA Rocky's Pasture Raised Chicken, Cremini Mushrooms, a Creamy Marsala Wine Sauce, atop hand-cut Pasta, served with Sautéed Vegetables. Overall the dish was fantastic, except for the overcooked pasta. 8/10 2. ALFREDO DÍ BUFALA Bronze cut Pappardelle pasta, Bistro Creamy Alfredo Sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano & Pecorino Romano, Parsley add free range chicken breast for an additional fee. Pasta and chicken were cooked perfectly. 10/10 3. Red wine reduction steak with asparagus and roasted potatoes 10/10 Dessert: 1. Pistachio Cake: a light cake, perfect way to end a meal. 10/10 2. Chocolate Cake: 7/10 (reminded me of a Costco sheet cake (basic chocolate cake with a mousse chocolate filling) nothing special. Despite the misses, I would eat here again.

If could give this place more than 5 stars I definitely would! 1000% recommend to come and enjoy a fantastic meal; we haven't had the opportunity to enjoy dinner here yet. However, if their brunch is any indication, the food will be leaps and bounds better than you expect. We had the pleasure of having Grace as our waitress, she was the epitome of exemplary in customer service. Grace provided great recommendations, suggestions, and made our first time one to remember. The seasonal menu was phenomenal. Some of the best chilaquiles we ever had, perfect amount of spice, diced up chiles, Bananas foster toast, delicious Irish Coffee, espresso, ice coffee, their homemade focaccia bread! Wow you can't go wrong with anything here. Beautiful location right in the heart of downtown Visalia! We'll be back! Thank you everyone, and thank you, Grace!

This is hands down the BEST food in Visalia! The only place I recommend to out of town visitors and where I take my family when they stop by. Brunch is by far the most delicious in the valley and a little slept on imo. Their breakfast flatbreads are cooked to perfection and frenxh toast is soo delicious. Lunch and dinner is wonderful also-- love their pizzas and salads! OH and the best cake ever, seriously don't pass it up... ANY flavor is amazing and you can tell it's made from scratch and not too sweet. Staff is always so welcoming and nice! We love sitting on the patio for the vibes and to see beautiful downtown. I would for sure recommend making reservations because this spot fills up fast!

    Diavola & chicken Alfredo

My husband and I decided to spend our long awaited date night at Bistro Di Bufala and we are so glad we did! We got insider tips to ask to sit downstairs and that is the move for a more intimate experience. It is dark tho! We order the goat cheese appetizer and it had great flavor. My husband commented he wished it was larger haha. The Diavola pizza was delicious. Just the right amount of spice, the jalapeños were chopped up which I loved! The chicken Alfredo was also spot on, not too heavy. Our total was about 120$ including 4 glasses of wine. Not bad. We will be back!

It was my first time going out for dinner in this down and my experience at this restaurant was not good as both the food and service fell short. We made a reservation for 8:30, not knowing the restaurant closed at 9. The food took a while to come out. The server hardly checked on us and was rushing us out when we weren't even done with our food. It was our fault for not checking, but why would a restaurant have reservations available 30 minutes before closing and rush us out? Spaghetti is usually a safe go-to but this one missed the mark. The pasta noodles were clumped together as if they weren't cooked correctly. The chicken marsala was alright. I don't remember the name of the cocktail I ordered, but it had a bad/strong taste which made it hard to even drink.

A random night out with friends led us to Bufals Di Bistro, and I'm so glad it did. I definitely recommend making a reservation because the wait can be long, but we all agreed the food was absolutely worth it. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and every dish we tried was amazing! Such a relaxing vibe and great ambiance too.

    Capelli D'Angelo with shrimp
    Nicole C.

We had a lovely dinner here as a party to five for my birthday. Our server was super friendly and upbeat. The restaurant was super loud though and our food took a very long time to come out. To eat I had the Capelli D'Angelo with shrimp. This is such a simple and delicious tomato pasta made with San marzano tomatoes. The shrimp were also a delicious addition! I of course enjoyed a delicious amaretto sour, and then I also tried a cocktail with Marmalade in the title. The flavor was unique, citrus and floral and not too sweet, but not my favorite. Overall this is the best place in town for Italian food that feels authentic, but unfortunately the wait times were very Italian as well!

Bistro Di Bufala, definitely make reservations if you're wanting to go out on the weekend! We ordered drinks, the Garden Party is a must! It's gin, elderflower, green tea, lemon and simple syrup and the Better with Age which is barrel age, bourbon, simple syrup, angostura & orange bitters, express orange peels, and a cherry garnish, simply delicious we ordered Fried Artichokes which was lightly fried and served with a basil cream absolutely divine. Our meal consisted of the Alfredo di Bufala dish (I added chicken), the Chicken Marsala & the special of Bone-in Ribeye. The Bronze cut Pappardelle pasta was cooked to perfection the creamy alfredo sauce, with two cheeses (parmigiano reggiano & pecorino romano) with parsley in my opinion it could have used a little salt, but if that's the only complaint, it's fine. I would still order the dish again. The chicken Marsala included sautéed vegetables (cooked perfectly), the hand-cut pasta topped with mushrooms & a wine sauce, made this dish a favorite. The ribeye was 20oz with a red wine glaze the steak was ordered medium and it was served with tender potatoes, definitely a meat and potatoes lovers heaven! We ended the evening with a pistachio and a chocolate cake, both were equally tasty. Oh, let's not forget the service, which was on point!

Chicken Alfredo and Special of the week

Drinks were on the strong side, but still good. The food was delicious from the freshness of the Bruschetta to the flavorful pizza.

Great food, drinks, and service! All of their pizzas are delicious and their chicken alfredo is the best in Visalia. I would recommend having a reservation it makes everything easier!

You could tell they know many of their regulars and have built great relationships with them, which always creates a welcoming atmosphere. Michelle and Laney were our server and bartender for the evening, and both were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We ordered the Scallops and the Stuffed Mushrooms to share. The scallops were delicious, and the praline bacon added the perfect touch of sweetness. The balsamic whiskey dressing was phenomenal and tied the whole dish together beautifully. The stuffed mushrooms were rich, filling, and packed with flavor. For drinks, I ordered a Dark Horse on tap--a personal favorite that's hard to find at many places. My husband enjoyed an 805. Unfortunately, I didn't snap a photo before we drank! Before leaving, we took home the dessert special: Boston Cream Pie Cheesecake. It was pure heaven in every bite and the perfect ending to the meal. We definitely want to come back and experience the restaurant side, but for drinks and appetizers, this was a fantastic first visit.

We tried the sweet potato fries for an appetizer and they were delicious. For desert I was treated to their famous bread pudding, in high birthday fashion too. This is a must have when visiting here! All in all a great night with delicious food and friendly service.

With the reviews on Yelp and the recommendation of our Air bnb host, this was a "must" during our visit. Nice decor and ambiance upon entering. Had a musician playing clarinet, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, we did not even eat here. As I stated, we had been at an outdoor convention- we were in nice jeans and ballcaps. This restaurant was not "suit" fancy, but we may have appeared underdressed with our ballcaps. Honestly we don't make a habit of dressing down and are usually overdressed lol. We felt judged the moment we walked in. They asked if we had a reservation. We did not but we were still sat. There was a wine tasting going on and we were asked if we would like to participate. We politely declined. The vineyard owner came over and talked to us. I politely declined again. The waitress never returned for over 10min. We hadn't even been asked about any other drinks, appetizers, specials of the house, nothing. The menu had some amazing dishes and appetizers that I am sad I wasn't able to try, but if you're going to make me feel less because I didn't have an opportunity to brush out my ponytail and change my shoes, then you're not deserving of the money we were planning on spending in your establishment. These Texas ranchers were very unimpressed
