    Diavola & chicken Alfredo
    Zoe G.

My husband and I decided to spend our long awaited date night at Bistro Di Bufala and we are so glad we did! We got insider tips to ask to sit downstairs and that is the move for a more intimate experience. It is dark tho! We order the goat cheese appetizer and it had great flavor. My husband commented he wished it was larger haha. The Diavola pizza was delicious. Just the right amount of spice, the jalapeños were chopped up which I loved! The chicken Alfredo was also spot on, not too heavy. Our total was about 120$ including 4 glasses of wine. Not bad. We will be back!

It was my first time going out for dinner in this down and my experience at this restaurant was not good as both the food and service fell short. We made a reservation for 8:30, not knowing the restaurant closed at 9. The food took a while to come out. The server hardly checked on us and was rushing us out when we weren't even done with our food. It was our fault for not checking, but why would a restaurant have reservations available 30 minutes before closing and rush us out? Spaghetti is usually a safe go-to but this one missed the mark. The pasta noodles were clumped together as if they weren't cooked correctly. The chicken marsala was alright. I don't remember the name of the cocktail I ordered, but it had a bad/strong taste which made it hard to even drink.

We had a lovely dinner here as a party to five for my birthday. Our server was super friendly and upbeat. The restaurant was super loud though and our food took a very long time to come out. To eat I had the Capelli D'Angelo with shrimp. This is such a simple and delicious tomato pasta made with San marzano tomatoes. The shrimp were also a delicious addition! I of course enjoyed a delicious amaretto sour, and then I also tried a cocktail with Marmalade in the title. The flavor was unique, citrus and floral and not too sweet, but not my favorite. Overall this is the best place in town for Italian food that feels authentic, but unfortunately the wait times were very Italian as well!

Love this place! Its conveniently located in the heart of downtown Visalia. Food was so delicious! And staff was incredibly friendly and made great recommendations. The place is clean and cozy. Highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a good meal and quality service.

We had an eventful morning and were starving for lunch. Not here in Visalia often, but stumbled upon Bistro Di Bufala. We walked in on a Saturday around 11:30am and since we didn't have reservations, we were told to be seated outside. Good thing the patio area where we were seated had a fan to cool us down since it was in the triple digits that day. The order: I have been on a pasta run lately, so I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, no parm cheese sub mozzarella. It was such a delicious meal. The sauce was great, my noodles were Al dente, and my meatballs were a great size, not dry at all. It was splendid. My husband opt for something healthy and hearty so he got a beets salad and added beef to it. The salad was a nice blend of Smokey flavor from the beef, it has caramelized walnuts that's was a nice added texture and sweetness to the plate, and the beets were so good. Loved his meal, I kept forking for some. I got the kids the Margherita pizza and they loved it. It's more of a thin crust, flatbread style pizza and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was great, our server checked on us just the right amount of times making sure we have water and brought our extra plates for us all. Great food here and would come back if I am in the area.

This was the perfect spot for our wedding anniversary dinner date. I walked in around noon and made a reservation with the staff for 7pm. They gave us the most romantic table! The food was phenomenal. My husband and I shared an inslata mista, meatballs, and Margherita pizza. It was all so fantastic. I ordered the steamed clams as my "entree" and my husband had the gambas al ajillo. The flavors were out of this world!! The best. We paired our meal with a gifted bottle of wine we brought for a corkage fee. We ended our dinner with a slice of coconut cake. It was amazing. Overall we had the most beautiful night.

We were Ready for a date night ; craving some Italian so we decided to try here. Heads up if you want to eat inside the dinning room make a reservation; walk ins have to sit at the bar . We decided to sit at the bar downstairs; what a good decision that was . Nice ; dark; intimate ambiance with great service. We both ordered spaghetti with meatballs; yummy. Meatballs were tender; portions were a good size. If they offered complimentary bread; I would have cleaned the plate entirely.

Alfredo Pasta with Salmon and Farmers Only cocktail

James was my server and he was excellent. I ordered exactly what he recommended, Alfredo pasta with salmon--loved it! To wash that down I had the Farmers Only cocktail which had a delicious spicy kick and I highly recommend it. I share 4/5 Stars for the reason my Salmon was fresh hot while the Alfredo pasta was room temp and the dish itself is $34... which is pricey to not receive perfection.

Bistro di Bufala totally lived up to the hype! Since we didn't have reservations, we sat at the downstairs bar and honestly, I'm so glad we did. The whole place had such a great vibe. It was cozy, lively, and perfect for a casual night out. We ordered the steamed clams and two pizzas, and left absolutely stuffed and satisfied. The clams were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Another server mentioned afterward that you can actually add pasta to the dish... I wish I'd known earlier because that's exactly what I came for! They didn't have the seasonal pasta listed on Yelp anymore, but the clams really made up for it. The pizzas took a bit longer to come out, but 100% worth the wait. Super flavorful and the crust was spot on. The server even brought out their special sauce for dipping, which was a really nice touch. My only tiny complaint? The pizza wasn't cut properly, which made it a little messy to eat. Other than that, everything was excellent. Definitely recommend this spot. Great food, great service, great vibe, and the bar seating was actually a win!

Went for brunch. Pretty packed. We were seated immediately. Lauren was our waitress. She had a great personality! Can't wait to try their dinner menu next.

A nice little Italian bistro in downtown Visalia. Food was good; I got the Spaghetti & Meatballs and could definitely taste the difference with the hand cut noodles and house made meatballs. Service was a little slow, but the server was very friendly and nice.

Finally! i got to visit this place that has been on my list forever. We came on a sunday , they offered their regular lunch menu and they have a brunch menu as well. Since it was my first time i wanted to try the regular menu and ordered the alfredo pasta and shared a cesar salad. Both were amazing! The pasta did not need any protein it was delicious as is. My friend ordered the angel hair pasta which she enjoyed. She also ordered a club soda which was delicious. The service was amazing! our waiter i didn't get his name but he was on it! great customer service. The ambiance was nice had indoor and outdoor seating. a little on the small side but it was nice. Will def be back and hope to get the same waiter .

My niece was craving pasta today, so we tried Bistro Di Bufala after seeing the great reviews. I called ahead for a reservation since it looked like a smaller spot, and I'm glad I did most of the tables were full when we arrived. We were seated right away and greeted warmly. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. Our waitress dropped off waters and silverware without saying much, which gave off a slightly off vibe, though not outright rude. We ended up ordering our food and drinks at the same time since drinks weren't offered up front. Now, the food, absolutely worth it. My niece had pasta Alfredo with chicken, and it tasted super fresh. The noodles were perfect. I went with the open-face steak sandwich on flatbread, and wow. The flavors of the fennel, steak, and onions all came together perfectly. Honestly, that dish alone will bring me back. The only part that held me back from giving five stars was the checkout process. Instead of an itemized bill, we were just given the total, which felt a little odd. On top of that, the way the change was broken down made it tricky to leave a standard tip. Not a huge deal, but it left the experience ending on a slightly awkward note. Overall though, the food was excellent, the space cozy, and I'd absolutely come back again next time maybe for that sandwich alone.

Review: A Triumphant Return to Pita Kabob…read more Rating: It had been about five years since my last visit to Pita Kabob, and I'm happy to report that it remains one of the best spots in town. From the moment we walked through the door, the service was seamless; we were greeted immediately and seated within just a few minutes. The Vibe & Menu The menu strikes a great balance--large enough to offer a deep variety of Mediterranean dishes and libations without being overwhelming. We noticed a fantastic selection of drinks and settled on a few ciders, which have been our go-to lately. They were the perfect crisp pairing for the meal ahead. The Main Event: Mediterranean Pitas We decided to stick with the classics and ordered the Mediterranean Pitas: * Lamb Pita: Rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. * Filet Mignon Pita: Incredibly tender and high-quality protein. Each pita was packed with flavor and offered that satisfying "fresh and crisp" crunch in every bite. The portions were spot on--filling enough to satisfy but leaving just enough room for a side. Don't Skip the Fries We couldn't leave without sharing an order of their fries. If you haven't had them, they are an absolute essential for the table. Final Verdict Five years is a long time to be away, but Pita Kabob hasn't missed a beat. Between the efficient service, the flavorful entrees, and the great drink selection, it was an amazing experience. We won't be waiting another five years to come back!

I went with the Juju Bleu, Calamity Jane, and Betsy Ross. I'll admit, I'm usually not a fan of bleu cheese, so I'm not sure why I picked the Juju Bleu--but I'm glad I did. It was surprisingly delicious. The Betsy Ross was solid and classic, with Thousand Island sauce--tasty, though nothing particularly standout. The Calamity Jane was the clear winner for me; the combination of sautéed onions, barbecue sauce, and mushrooms was absolutely spot-on. We also upgraded our side to clam chowder. It had great flavor, though it was a bit thicker than I prefer--not a dealbreaker by any means. Service really made the experience shine. Paula was phenomenal--attentive, friendly, and quick to check in on us and keep everything running smoothly. Overall, this is a great spot for lunch with friends or coworkers. Since it's right on Main Street, parking can be a bit tricky, so I'd recommend using a nearby public lot and taking a short walk over.

The menu made it sound really good, but honestly, I could have made a much better version at home for around $4 instead of $22. The salad is loaded with crispy fried onions, which completely overpower everything else. I was especially looking forward to the protein since the salad is advertised as high in protein, but it only had a few pieces of cold blackened chicken, barely any quinoa, maybe one bacon bit, very minimal walnuts, and the apple shreds were bland and forgettable. I was expecting a flavor bomb and instead got mostly kale and fried onions. I would definitely not order this again. If I wasn't with a group of people, I probably would've tried to get a refund for the salad. That said, the steak appetizer was actually very good (also $20). The steak was cooked really well, and I appreciated being able to get a side of barbecue sauce. However, it was also served on a bed of crispy onions, which again felt unnecessary. Overall, the ambiance is lovely and the service staff is very nice, but the food itself is mostly mediocre, with the exception of the steak, which was solid.
