    "Service dog" in question.
    Edward S.

These clowns Denied me entry because I have a service animal. Wearing his properly marked service dog collar. Upon walking into establishment, Blitz laid at my feet, while the little bald Hispanic fella checking ID's proceeded to ask for documentation that he was indeed a service animal. I showed him the law, he made it clear that the bartender overruled the law. https://adata.org/service-animal-resource-hub/small-business This does not mean service animals can be excluded from restaurants or other places where people eat. In a restaurant, a service animal must be allowed to accompany the person with a disability in all areas that are open to other patrons. To help separate service animals from pets, a business may ask two questions when a person with an animal enters a place of public accommodation: Is the animal required because of a disability? What work or task has the animal been trained to perform? These questions may not be asked if the need for the service animal is obvious. THE INDIVIDUAL CANNOT BE ASKED ABOUT HIS OR HER DISABILITY. THE INDIVIDUAL CANNOT ALSO BE ASKED TO SHOW PROOF THAT THE ANIMAL HAS BEEN CERTIFIED, TRAINED, OR LICENSED AS A SERVICE ANIMAL. Additionally, service animals must not be required to demonstrate the tasks they perform.

Great food reasonable beer prices. Staffing there is great! Will be back to try out the rest of their food menu and for more beer!

I love this place. Only beer and wine are served so no one gets out of hand and there are a lot of regulars (I'm one of them). Delicious burgers, excellent beer.

If you want a neighborhood bar with a great vibe, look no further than the Rock N' Horse Saloon…read more Making a bar feel like a home away from home is not an easy feat, but owner Jeff and his crew have nurtured an atmosphere that makes this the premiere watering hole when visiting Tulare. I've been in several times now and always find it to be a welcoming environment. It's a small town and there are a lot of regulars, so it already feels like the old TV show where "everyone knows your name." there's a big stage right near the front entrance and a quality band plays rock and country covers, along with some originals and the occasional vocal cameo from Jeff himself. Everyone on that stage has some immense talent. Even better, there is rarely a song that goes by that doesn't bring everyone to the dance floor. My choice is bellying up at the bar for a stiff drink at a reasonable price. Put it all together and you have a top choice for any weekend night.

Could have been a reasonable interaction but the bartender, who we found out is the owner, came up to us said you can't bring a drink in here at all and hit the table with his fists. But did not go up to the others who had energy drinks, which weren't sold there... Another man got yelled out by the owner also for singing over him. Overall was a hostile and aggressive approach very unnecessary. Then he sat outside to smoke and talk to the other patrons about what happened lmao Definitely just a dive bar, I would not come back.

Drinks were always made strong and the servers were pleasant although the food always took forever to come out. The food always tasted frozen and oily. The health score should have deterred us and we were always met with sticky tables and glasses. *Three Rivers Mojito: could have used more mint but boy was the rum pour heavy. The lime taste was strong and I would have like more strawberry puree. *Pretty In Pink: fruity and sour with a strong alcoholic finish. I wanted more of a elderflower and hibiscus flavor but the prominent raspberry taste was still good. *Watermelon Vodka: slightly artificial but wow was the vodka heavy. Despite ordering this during happy hour, the pour was generous and the glass was massive. *Fried Pickles: the batter was incredibly thick and it wasn't cooked through. I literally had to peel off the doughy exterior to enjoy the classic pickle. This item needed more time in the fryer and the batter recipe should be revised. *Potstickers: the only decent food item. This was most likely frozen given the perfectly identical creases but it was steamed properly. The dipping sauce was flavorful and vinegary. *Fish and Chips: suffered from the same thick and flavorless batter. The fries were alright, salty and crispy. The cod was tough and rubbery. I mostly ate the fries with the tartar sauce and ranch and left the fish alone. Sequoia Brewing, your cheap drinks will be missed but pretty much nothing else.

The chicken pesto we ordered was quickly served after. As for the meal review, sauce was quite salty and chicken texture was hard. I understand it was chicken breast but it was not like usual taste. Beer was great, I enjoyed Pomegranate Ale I chose. Didn't expect we had not so pleasant experience here.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and grabbed seats at the bar. Sam was our server and was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on. The food absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Taco Salad, and it was enormous! The tortilla shell was so crispy and well-made that it actually held up for leftovers the next day. The jalapeño ranch had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. We also tried the Drunken Chicken Sandwich. Sam recommended getting it breaded, and I'm glad we listened. The homemade breadcrumb coating was light, crispy, and flavorful without being overly thick or salty. For appetizers, we shared the Fried Pork Belly Bites, which were paired with a delicious coleslaw and a sweet Korean-style BBQ sauce, and the Deviled Eggs, which were AMAZING. They came prepared three different ways, making it fun to try each variation. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite. Their beer selection was impressive, and I was especially excited to find Crow & Wolf's Dark Wolf Seltzer on tap, one of my favorites and not something you see everywhere. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of character. Even the ladies' restroom had quirky, fun artwork that added a unique touch to the atmosphere. The size and amount of tv's was impressive. If you're looking for a relaxed vibe, great drinks, exceptional service, and food that delivers, I highly recommend checking this place out. We'll definitely be back.
