Such a awesome place!! They make charcuterie boards there at the shop and the wine is delicious!

I always make sure to check out this wine bar anytime I am in the area. It is quaint and cozy. My husband and I shared a lovely bottle of Bonanza. The service was great. We have been coming here for years and will continue to come back. read more

We love the wine, the ambience and the professionalism of the staff. At least once a month we come by to taste wine and then to drink a glass or two of our favorite. It is so nice to be able to have such a classy wine restaurant. The food is amazing and it pairs so well with the wine. We loved the way your wait staff were so knowledgeable about which wines taste best with each food selection. We come back and enjoy Blended each and every time. Good job Visalia! read more

Blend wine room is located in downtown Visalia. Street parking and a parking lot a block over are available for free. Sit wherever you want, someone will be with you shortly. Order wine by the glass, wine tasting or a beer. I ordered the wine tasting which is available from 3-6pm. They mark the bottom of the glass , with what each glass of wine is. Service is good! Ambiance is very chill; nice place to catch up and have a drink. read more

This place is ok. They have nice wine, but the service is usually horrible more often times than not. We would have to wait a really long time to be helped, and it always felt like the worker was bothered she had customers. My husband and I have stopped coming here because of the service and have started going to the other wine bar down the street. They are a lot more welcoming. read more

Pared down, rustic environment. Mood is quiet and pleasant. Service is always polite and sociable. Wine selection is decent, although the bottles to take home have been scaled back which is a shame because they used to represent several vineyards all across California. Prices are elevated but not unreasonable. A few friends, wine, and a cheese board. Life ain't too bad. read more

I've been stopping by here recently and really love it. The young ladies that work there are super friendly and engaging. It was just two girls working when it was busy and they still made time to talk and get to know me and my husband. I will continue coming here. read more

Used to like. But, when I'm done with a sound bathing and meditation class the last thing I want is some guy (? Owner) at bar bothering me. I want to keep it chill. Have seen this man there twice. Now, I sit outside to avoid the BS read more

Service was boutique Priscilla and Cassidy talked to me and my date frequently and showed us pictures on their phone! So kind and gracious! This is a great little wine bar/room. The service is great. they have a small selection not much as a variety as you expect but they do have some good wine. They do you serve beer but only have like four options. when I went they had someone performing although it was very loud I was expecting more of a chill vibe but then he later changed his tone in music which was more relaxing. wouldn't come here again but it was a good first time experience. read more

Wine selection is decent and fairly priced, but the service is basically not present. Took us 45 minutes to get our bottles opened and water. Don't get the cheeseboards; over priced and underwhelming. The pizza is sorry too. Our party was charged an undisclosed $45 fee. After calling they blamed us for leaving their dirty bathroom dirty. Have never had something like this happen. Avoid entirely if you can. read more

Always good service and lots of wine options. Chill place and good vibes to just sit and sip.

A newer local to the area for about the past year, this is a downtown gem. Great selection of wine from Napa - Paso Robles & even out of the country (France/Argentina/Italy) the bartender/server was friendly/helpful every time I've gone in. I think one bartender was named Priscilla or Patricia...the crowd up at the bar seemed to really enjoy her service (maybe regular customers). I recently took my wife and mother there, there was a big party of women and I saw they got helped or asked to serve so many times I lost count! Very very helpful/tentative service. Highly recommend this place for wine and a delicious flatbread or a charcuterie board read more

Absolutely love that Visalia has this hip little wine bar for us vino lovers to enjoy. My husband and I came here for pre dinner drinks Friday night. We sat at the bar where we conversed with a very knowledgeable bartender. I ordered the 5 wine flight, and loved every sample. My husband who isn't a wine drinker, actually ordered 4 glasses and really liked them all. The decor is just as you'd expect a wine bar to look like, dark and classic. Lots of tasteful art pieces on the walls. The also have charcuterie and other small bites that pair well with the wines. We didn't try anything to eat, as we had dinner plans but some ladies next to us ordered the cheese plate and some flatbread and it looked delicious. Maybe next time and I promise there will most definitely be a next time. read more

This place has been around for years but never had the need to check it out. Went out one night because my wife wanted to try it and figured why not. The ambience was very relaxed. Variety of choices of wines and food. No live music even though they did pump some radio music in, which was kind of loud for a wine room in my opinion. read more

The bartender only served us every 40mins and would go in the back to do God knows what. We were the only ones there along with another group. Wanted to leave but she was gone too long and I had to yell out for her to get our tab. Still didn't come out until the phone rang. Cool concept, awful service. read more

What a gem in Visalia! One would never have guessed Visalia would have a wine room! I stumbled into this place while walking downtown trying to figure out what I wanted to eat, something light, not heavy because I've been eating heavy lately. I decided to give this place a try after checking out other reviews on Yelp and boy am I am glad I did. The service provided was excellent. This is the perfect place for happy hour or a girls night out or just to unwind after a long day's of work. The wine were pretty darn good and the meat and cheese place was great too. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. Very well decorated to look like a wine room. I'm looking forward to coming back to this place whenever I'm back in town. read more

Welcome to your favorite neighborhood wine bar or wine store. They have happy hour options, regular hour solid buys, and opinions on bottles. Sierra gifted me with valuable insight on reds- I opted for the Cryptic California blend for around $20- and it is so amazing! I will be back when I'm in town for work, no doubt! read more

My visit was on 3/19 I was really excited to try this place but it was so disappointing. The server was so unprofessional, it seemed like she didn't not want to be working. We were her only table and her friends were sitting at the bar talking about her ex boyfriend /gossiping etc. Not once did she check in with us after getting our first order of wine. After we drank our first glass we asked if we could make another order and she literally said if we wanted to order more we would have to walk to the bar because she didn't want to walk to us. Keep in mind the place was empty we were the only table (4 people) the other 3 people were her friends at the bar. We left immediately after that. She clearly didn't want to be interrupted while talking to her friends. read more

We had a fantastic time here. The wine list is excellent and continually updated. My fiancee is into reds while I'm into whites and we both loved our drinks. The owner, Rachel, is well-traveled and a really interesting, kind person. The ambience is on point. Highly recommend read more

Great wine, great small plates... Jasmine, the only bartender/server on Friday nights is great! If only the owners who sit at the end of the bar sipping bottles of wine as she serves an extremely busy bar all by her lonesome would help her maintain their business and customer satisfaction... While she tended to new customers, I watched a pizza sit on the bar with no heat lamp, in FRONT OF THE OWNER, for 15 minutes, while he enjoyed his beverage and company. My neighboring customer asked if "anyone else works here" because their glasses sat dry for a good 15 minutes, while Jasmine busted her butt and the owner sat sipping his second bottle. After which he had Jasmine provide him with a 3rd bottle before serving customers who were sitting dry without beverages. We will unfortunately consider grabbing a drink elsewhere after tonight. read more

This place has become my favorite place in town to wind down after work. They have a great selection of wines in all price ranges. Enjoy many of their wines by the glass or agree on a bottle and share with a friend or loved one. I've tried several of their small plate food items and they've all been very good. The staff is never short on great recommendations and is the main reason why the place is so great. read more

Love Blend Wine Room! Great vibe, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and amazing wine.

Great spot, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the woman that was working was extremely unprofessional, non-welcoming, and appeared to be inconvenienced to serve us. There was only 1 other table occupied in the room. Another couple walked in and sat and left after 10 minutes of being ignored. When asked if there were other bottles available than what was listed in the menu she told the patrons to get up and go look in the refrigerator. She even walked out of the building leaving the business unattended. She returned with a bag of what appeared to be her lunch. read more

My wife really enjoyed this place. She rated it a 5/5 but I rate it a 3/5 so I split the difference. Wine option was limited but what I had was good. My wife had the moscato and said is was very good paired with the snack plate of meat, cheese, and fruit. High note good music. read more

Since my last review of the Blend, I continued to be charged for the wine club that I asked to discontinue. I was unaware of the 6 month commitment when my husband and I signed up for it. The employee did not disclose that the day of. (nice employees by the way) I feel that most other businesses would have just let it go, even after I told her of the situation, but this business owner didn't. Maybe she feels her wine room is doing so well that she can be rude and unwilling to compromise. Well each time I walk by, it just isn't that busy. Her offer for us to come back and have a glass of wine just isn't going to happen. Thanks, but no thanks I will go anywhere else but The Blend read more

Super cute place!! Definitely a fun place to stop while you are downtown. Visalia needed a place like this!

The experience was pleasant. Friendly staff. Delicious wine. The selection is updated frequently. A must for the wine lovers out there.

I was excited to have a proper wine bar in Visalia, but alas Blend Wine Room is not it. Mainly, the reason is selection. It's the same old big Cali wine that you can find at basically any restaurant in the Central Valley -- Rombauer, etc. In that sort of Cali-centric space, Bella Vino in Fresno (Fig Garden area) at least has a much more interesting selection of Paso wines and many non-Cab reds that are hard to come by unless you're a member of the winery (Denner, Linne Calodo, L'Aventure, etc.). But both pale to the more interesting wine bars in California. Take L'Ordinaire in Oakland, which serves a wonderful, global (with a France emphasis) range of interesting varietals -- gamay, carignan, etc. I really don't know what the point of having a wine bar is if you're just going to serve run-of-the mill Rombauer, Justin, and easy-to-find Napa Cabs... read more
