I can't believe it's been 6 years since my last review of this spot. It's been AMAZING every single time I've ordered from here. I don't come down anymore cause I'm not one for the local bar scene next door, nor the bar scene within this location towards the back. Plus the parking is atrocious down this part of main. But I do get it delivered and it's never disappointed. My burger always comes hot and fresh, the meat still steaming, the cheese nice and melted and the bun a pillow and soft brioche. You can add whatever you want to your burger with an added surcharge for bacon, egg and some other items. But all the veg is free! Don't sleep on the (Stacked) Sauce, it's the house made sauce that's tangy, spicy and flavorful! Do be warned, it does have a kick! But if you like a little spicy, then it's gonna win you over! Crinkle fries are my "go-to" especially with the Stacked sauce. They have other options like onion rings, curly fries, cheese curds and so on. All look like great options but they definitely are more expensive through delivery around $7 to $8 dollars. Would love to see some shakes out of this place, hopefully one day. You can get a full combo for around $18 and that for the double. Trust me when I say, the burgers are huge! They will fill you up with a single, but if you're really hungry go double! The double is a monster! I called cause I forgot to add my sauces the other day and the girl who answered the phone was so sweet and understanding. She didn't have to help me out but she did and added them to my bag, huge win for that! Truly appreciate this place for the consistency and the quality. read more

Stacked suffices as a bar vibe. It's a decent spot if you're looking to hang out over drinks with friends. The bar is tucked away at the back of the restaurant, which opens up to more seating. The space does feel a bit sticky and damp at times, so I'd recommend wearing shoes and washing your hands before sitting down. I prefer weekday visits as the bartenders aren't as rushed and the cocktails come out stronger and better balanced. When the drinks are made well, they're actually some of the better ones on the block. As for the food, it's on the pricier side considering how simple it is. I tried the fried mushrooms, zucchini, and pickles. All of them had a similar soft texture and the batter didn't cling too well to the lengthwise cut veggies. The coating was a bit thick and greasy and I wish the ranch had been colder to cut through the richness. Overall, Stacked is a fine place for drinks but I'd probably grab a bite to eat somewhere else first. read more

The Stacked BBQ Burger was good. Had a good selection of beers on tap. No table service so order at the counter before sitting down. They do bring the food at your table. You can also order at the bar. Bar tender Ruby was super awesome! The place is huge with lots of sitting. Street parking only so prepare to walk a bit on a busy night. read more

The best part about Stacked Bar & Grill is definitely the bar setup. It's a great spot to watch games, and the selection of beers on tap is impressive. I'm a fan of Dark Horse, and having it on tap here is a big win. As for the food, it's pretty mid. The burgers are fine--nothing to complain about, but nothing standout either. Same with the sides: fries, onion rings, and fried pickles are all just okay, not the kind of thing you'd come here specifically for. This place had one great bartender and the rest slack. The back area would be great to dim the lights and have a dance floor in the cabana. I usually get the California Burger (normally comes with chicken but I get a beef patty), and it's a good burger. Nothing fancy or anything to rave about but it's solid. I also get the garlic fries and loooove how much garlic they put, but the fries are usually a little soggy. My friend got the curly fries and they were great! Reminds me of jack in the box. The servings are pretty big though so it'll fill you up. This place has been packed the couple times I've been here. I've only been here on a Friday/Saturday night though so not sure if that's a weekend thing, but it seems very lively--lots of people talking, eating, drinking, etc. I think it's a good spot to meet up with friends and have some decent food. read more

Great food and atmosphere--but one persistent issue I've been to Stacked Bar and Grill in Visalia several times now, and overall I really enjoy it. The facility is bright, open, and welcoming. The back patio is especially nice, perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a casual meal outside. I've had both the Spicy Italian and the California Chicken, and both were excellent--flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. However, the biggest drawback is the restroom area. While the restaurant itself appears clean, the strong urine odor in the bathrooms is consistently unpleasant. It's been the same every time I've visited, and as someone coming in to enjoy a meal, it definitely takes away from the experience. I really hope the management addresses this issue soon, because everything else about Stacked makes it a place I'd love to recommend without hesitation. read more

Bartender asked who needs drinks, I raised my hand and he looked at me then just continued to talk to a customer whom I'm assuming he knew already. My food did not show up with the order so I waited for it...finally went to the counter after looking at the recipt & she never put my food in! We were downtown Visalia and decided to eat . We went to Stacked Bar & Grill. I was very disappointed first of all you order and pay upfront and they request a tip upfront , my first mistake. We waited for a bit to get our order, so much that we had to ask on our order. The place was not full , there was hardly anyone there so I would think the service would be much faster. My order came to our table and the top if the bun fell on to the table , the server picked it up and it as if he was going to place it on my plate. I pulled my plate away and he asked if I wanted a new bun ? Of course I said yes , but then he wanted to take my plate that I had been waiting for so he could replace the top bun that fell. I asked he bring me the top bun to me , he said it had to warmed . I told him just to bring me a cold one . My husband had already eaten half of his lunch . I started eating my burger to see they gave me the wrong cheese . My husband was not happy with with his meal. Unfortunately we will not be returning. We were in town for a wedding so not locals but we wanted a sports bar with food and family friendly. This place checked the box's on Yelp for all of the above. Our issue was it's not really a sports bar. It's a wide open warehouse where order up front and they bring you your food and the bar is in the back. The issue is that all the TVs are in the back but the seating is limited so it's actually hard to see the games. Secondly, the food was just average at best. You are given a number and when your order is ready someone brings it out for you. We ordered the California chicken; juicy piece of chicken, loaded with sprouts, bacon, avocado , pepper jack cheese and pesto basil aloli. Upgraded the fries to garlic fries and glad we did. They were delicious and plentiful to share. Also ordered a build your own burger - juicy patty .... Got all the toppings on it that don't cost extra. Freshly made to order; so be prepared for a little wait. It doesn't sit under a light like McDonald's; so patience is a must. Combo comes with crinkle cut fries and a soft drink. No carbonation at the soft drink machine .... Please fix this ... no one wants to drink flat soda. There should be a sign at the counter ; letting you know ahead of time ... so you can decide if you really want that flat beverage to sip on. The bar is busy ; the drinks made by the bartenders are good and reasonable . Ordered a sex on the beach drink, was very good .there is outdoor space to hangout at when weather permits. NFL Conference Championships and the absolute worst bartender behind the bar. Kick off time and 3 different people, including myself, have had to ask multiple times to have the channel changed. She can only figure out one TV, and if anyone else asks her for something there she goes. Unable to multi task. There's a guy here that has been waiting for 10 minutes to pay his tab and has reminded her multiple times. I'm finishing my beer and leaving. This place is always one of my favs when I come to Visalia. You get to build your own burger/chicken burger...whatever. You tell them all of the great toppings you want on it...or how few toppings you want and they will grill it up to perfection! The garlic fries are delicious and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FRIED PICKLES!!!! But beware, they are big orders so you can definitely share. The first time I was there, 3 of us ordered 3 orders of pickles and we didn't even finish one basket. But they are amazing!! They have a bar in the back with lots of local and non-local beers. I love the pomegranate sour beer...it is always my "go to"...but everything looks good. They have a huge list on a chalkboard that showed what they currently offer. The perfect place for a great burger in visalia! It's a little pricey but it's pretty big and it doesn't sit heavy in the stomach. It's also loud but, I'm an extrovert and love the noise and energy. They take quite a bit of time so make sure you come with patience. The lines get pretty long and there is usually only one person taking orders. The wait is worth it! Try the onion rings with ranch!! Parking out front is really hard because it's so limited on Main Street. Most times you will have to park around the corner and walk. During the day you can park at component coffee and walk through their gate to get to Stacked. If it's past component's business hours you might be able to get away with parking in the corner parking area on Main & Santa Fe! read more
