First and foremost, idk like to say that I've been to many bars and cool places and stacked is one of the most amazing places I've been to. Not just the atmosphere but the people. The bartenders Kristina and Klaire by far the best bartends I've ever had. I told them the kind of things I like and made me my drink and made me feel at home. The Stacked BBQ Burger was good. Had a good selection of beers on tap. No table service so order at the counter before sitting down. They do bring the food at your table. The space does feel a bit sticky and damp at times, so I'd recommend wearing shoes and washing your hands before sitting down. I prefer weekday visits as the bartenders aren't as rushed and the cocktails come out stronger and better balanced. When the drinks are made well, they're actually some of the better ones on the block. As for the food, it's on the pricier side considering how simple it is. I tried the fried mushrooms, zucchini, and pickles. All of them had a similar soft texture and the batter didn't cling too well to the lengthwise cut veggies. The coating was a bit thick and greasy and I wish the ranch had been colder to cut through the richness. The best part about Stacked Bar & Grill is definitely the bar setup. It's a great spot to watch games, and the selection of beers on tap is impressive. I'm a fan of Dark Horse, and having it on tap here is a big win. As for the food, it's pretty mid. The burgers are fine--nothing to complain about, but nothing standout either. Same with the sides: fries, onion rings, and fried pickles are all just okay, not the kind of thing you'd come here specifically for. I usually get the California Burger (normally comes with chicken but I get a beef patty), and it's a good burger. Nothing fancy or anything to rave about but it's solid. I also get the garlic fries and loooove how much garlic they put, but the fries are usually a little soggy. My friend got the curly fries and they were great! Reminds me of jack in the box. The servings are pretty big though so it'll fill you up. This place has been packed the couple times I've been here. I've only been here on a Friday/Saturday night though so not sure if that's a weekend thing, but it seems very lively--lots of people talking, eating, drinking, etc. I think it's a good spot to meet up with friends and have some decent food. read more

Great food and atmosphere--but one persistent issue I've been to Stacked Bar and Grill in Visalia several times now, and overall I really enjoy it. The facility is bright, open, and welcoming. The back patio is especially nice, perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a casual meal outside. I've had both the Spicy Italian and the California Chicken, and both were excellent--flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. However, the biggest drawback is the restroom area. While the restaurant itself appears clean, the strong urine odor in the bathrooms is consistently unpleasant. It's been the same every time I've visited, and as someone coming in to enjoy a meal, it definitely takes away from the experience. I really hope the management addresses this issue soon, because everything else about Stacked makes it a place I'd love to recommend without hesitation. read more

My food did not show up with the order so I waited for it...finally went to the counter after looking at the recipt & she never put my food in! We were downtown Visalia and decided to eat . We went to Stacked Bar & Grill. I was very disappointed first of all you order and pay upfront and they request a tip upfront , my first mistake. We waited for a bit to get our order, so much that we had to ask on our order. The place was not full , there was hardly anyone there so I would think the service would be much faster. My order came to our table and the top if the bun fell on to the table , the server picked it up and it as if he was going to place it on my plate. I pulled my plate away and he asked if I wanted a new bun ? Of course I said yes , but then he wanted to take my plate that I had been waiting for so he could replace the top bun that fell. I asked he bring me the top bun to me , he said it had to warmed . I told him just to bring me a cold one . My husband had already eaten half of his lunch . I started eating my burger to see they gave me the wrong cheese . My husband was not happy with with his meal. Unfortunately we will not be returning. We were in town for a wedding so not locals but we wanted a sports bar with food and family friendly. This place checked the box's on Yelp for all of the above. Our issue was it's not really a sports bar. It's a wide open warehouse where order up front and they bring you your food and the bar is in the back. The issue is that all the TVs are in the back but the seating is limited so it's actually hard to see the games. Secondly, the food was just average at best. Want a relaxed atmosphere ... this is a good spot in Visalia! Parking is difficult though ; limited parking in front of this bar and grill. Better luck parking a block or two down the street and around the corner. You sit wherever you want ; and when you're ready you order at the front counter . You are given a number and when your order is ready someone brings it out for you. We ordered the California chicken; juicy piece of chicken, loaded with sprouts, bacon, avocado , pepper jack cheese and pesto basil aloli. Upgraded the fries to garlic fries and glad we did. They were delicious and plentiful to share. Also ordered a build your own burger - juicy patty .... Got all the toppings on it that don't cost extra. Freshly made to order; so be prepared for a little wait. It doesn't sit under a light like McDonald's; so patience is a must. Combo comes with crinkle cut fries and a soft drink. No carbonation at the soft drink machine .... Please fix this ... no one wants to drink flat soda. There should be a sign at the counter ; letting you know ahead of time ... so you can decide if you really want that flat beverage to sip on. The bar is busy ; the drinks made by the bartenders are good and reasonable . Ordered a sex on the beach drink, was very good .there is outdoor space to hangout at when weather permits. NFL Conference Championships and the absolute worst bartender behind the bar. Kick off time and 3 different people, including myself, have had to ask multiple times to have the channel changed. She can only figure out one TV, and if anyone else asks her for something there she goes. Unable to multi task. There's a guy here that has been waiting for 10 minutes to pay his tab and has reminded her multiple times. I'm finishing my beer and leaving. This place is always one of my favs when I come to Visalia. You get to build your own burger/chicken burger...whatever. You tell them all of the great toppings you want on it...or how few toppings you want and they will grill it up to perfection! The garlic fries are delicious and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FRIED PICKLES!!!! But beware, they are big orders so you can definitely share. The first time I was there, 3 of us ordered 3 orders of pickles and we didn't even finish one basket. But they are amazing!! They have a bar in the back with lots of local and non-local beers. I love the pomegranate sour beer...it is always my "go to"...but everything looks good. They have a huge list on a chalkboard that showed what they currently offer. It's on Main Street downtown...super easy to find. If you have a large group, they have lots of seating and more outside on the back patio. Great place to enjoy a beer with friends! Most of the bartenders are very friendly and nice, but there is one young lady that kills the vibe. She has the face of someone that hates working and does not want to be there. My friends & I came here the other day, & it was a pretty nice and chill place to go. There's a bar with tv screens, where you can watch sports games. There was a group of 6 of us and we were able to share the garlic fries. However, we also had burgers as well. I came here with my husband and two dogs on a Tuesday around 1:30pm. Kim was our bartender. She was so friendly and helpful. We sat on the patio and had a great time. (There aren't very many places in Visalia with a place to take your dogs to.) Kim filled our dog water dish and she suggested good IPA options. We shared the Double Libre burger with onion rings. Stacked typically has great service and drinks. Can occasionally get a little busy especially if the outdoor area isn't open. Drinks are fairly priced and some are fantastic. Food is solid and decor is decent. Only complaint is the juke box. They don't allow almost any hip hop , reggaeton or Spanish options. This is very confusing given the demographic make up of Visalia and the surrounding cities who come here to drink. Would give a 2.5/5 but it's not possible.
