I haven't dined in, but I ordered on Uber Eats. I ordered the 2 Sopes plate, which comes with rice and beans, and both sides were missing. I called the restaurant and the peraon told me it doesnt come with rice and beans...but its literally listed on Uber like that...for almost $20. I also ordered 1 asada and 1 chorizo, both were chorizo. Ordered tres leches, also missing. The only correct thing that I ordered and received was the tostada, which wasn't exactly palatable because it was SO soupy! The bottom tortilla was just soggy mush. They employees are so friendly and that goes such a long way! It has been a very long time since I've been here. The food seems to be going downhill still. I ordered shredded beef flautas and the beef had zero flavor, the tomatoes were so super soggy, and the shredded lettuce was the butt end of the head. The Chile verde was good. The restaurant was clean but the air vents could use a good scrubbing. The server was so nice, the food runner was also so nice. Then we were checked on one time after our food was delivered and the server said she was going to bring another tea and that was the last time we saw anyone for 20-25 minutes. First of all, this restaurant was difficult to find. The outside sign was faded and we ended up going around the block two times before we finally noticed some faded food pictures on the windows. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty and it took a little time to seat us. One we were seated We let our waitress know that it was hard for us to find them because of the sign, she stated the owners didn't want to spend money on a new sign and their customers know where they are. It took a few more minutes for our waitress to come by. Once we finally got a menu, it was hard to decide what to get since they had a lot of items to choose from. We settled on their tomahawk steak and shrimp with a side of rice and beans which we had to order separately because it didn't come with the meal. It didn't take too long for our meal to arrive but once it did, we weren't given any steak knifes and they forgot our side dish of rice and beans, again it took a while for someone to bring us our items. Finally, we were able to start eating. The shrimp was a little over cooked and the tomahawk steak was very thin and salty. At this point, we just wanted to eat something and get back on the road. Absolutely unacceptable service. It was my mom's birthday, and we made a reservation ahead of time for a party of 20. Once seated, our server was rude and never checked on us--not even once. We waited almost an hour for food, and four plates never came at all. I understand large parties take time, but being completely ignored with no communication is unacceptable. This ruined what should have been a special night. When we our party decides to just leave , our server not notice acknowledge us and had another server give us our tabs. I felt the meat was lacking some flavor and our tacos were a bit overly fried to where they were a bit burnt tasting. For my enchilada the flavor of the meat was good paired with the enchilada sauce. Good food not often available at most Mexican restaurants. My wife ordered the VG steak, and missing the obvious, I asked what "VG" stood for. My wife later said that it must really stand for "very good". It could also have stood for "very grande" . It was a large meal. I ordered some kind of Taco plate, not quite understanding the server, and was presented also, with a meal which could serve three. There were three large tacos loaded to the hilt with shrimp, and although overcooked, as I find in most Mexican restaurants, tasted great with the rest of the taco bolstering the taste. Service was excellent, food was good, and the "South of the Border" feeling added to the authenticity of it all. I thought the prices were somewhat high, but everything is high these days. At least we could make extra meals out of the take home leftovers. Everyone should try Valle Grullense at least onceto experience some Mexican difference in their local dining. The food wasn't good at all--very salty and no flavor. The restaurant was almost empty--guess that was an indication that it wasn't going to be very good. When they opened a few years ago it was good--don't know if they changed chefs or ownership . Prices were very high, service ok, but wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Based on certain items on the menu some folks wouldn't consider this place authentic (taco shell) but my godfather (mind you his English isn't even fluent) says it's his favorite. This place specializes in Mexican comfort breakfast dishes and seafood, among other things. My godfather says weekends they have menudo, and he loves. I had nachos, they were good, the ribeye and eggs with beans looked amazing, I'll have that next time, the bacon wrapped shrimp looked good as a plate paraded past me. Service is good, they will even sing happy birthday! You know the people are putting attention to detail, they had actual Mexican music playing. This place has become one of my go-to spots for Mexican food here in Hanford. We usually go for breakfast/brunch on a weekend, and it's always busy but the wait isn't too long. Once seated, we're given fresh tortilla chips and salsa right away. I normally go here when I'm craving pozole, which is a big portion with a lot of meat. This restaurant is usually busy. I've celebrated my birthdays there for few years. Birthday dishes are free if you have a group. Today the restaurant was near empty. We noticed their prices went up $9 or more. The waitress told us each party member had to order dishes ranging from $18.99 and above to qualify for one birthday meal. Needless to say we didn't qualify for the discount. Then they messed up my daughter's simple order. My son in law went to pay the bill and they charged us for three drinks that we didn't have! 3/29/23 Getting lunch! Chicken and shrimp Molcajete Mixto with salsa verde ordered with extra hot sauce on the side. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went in to get it shortly later. Small wait and greeted by a worker. The order was ready and brought out. Paid for the order and left. The restaurant is nice. Spanish music playing. Lunchtime! Large order. Split. You definitely get your moneys worth! My half was absolutely delicious! Flavorful! It comes with corn tortillas. Authentic and delicious! Tasty beans, rice and fresh salad come with it as well! Great hot sauce too! Mother said her half was the bomb! Great and fresh! Lots of leftovers! Another meal for both! First came last week with a friend (forgot to review then). Came today with a co-worker for an early lunch at 11am. Not busy. Excellent lunch specials (many to choose from). Restaurant was clean. Pretty disappointed in my camarones a la diabla. Decent portion, shrimp cooked well but the sauce was not good. Way too sweet and smoky. No heat to balance any of that out. The Chile Verde was delicious, the omelet was huge, he was not able to finish the entire thing. I had the Chicken Enchiladas with rice and beans. I didn't care for the enchiladas, the sauce lacked flavor but the rice and beans were pretty good. They did not have fresh horchata so we opted for fountain drinks. The service was great! Five Stars Easy. To start, Valle Grullense has the best Chips & Salsa in Hanford CA.. That's saying something because Hanford has a lot of great Mexican Restaurants who all make decent C&S. The chips are served thin, crisp, and warm with just the right amount of salt. The salsa is outstanding. Not too chunky & not too thin with just the right amount of heat/spice. As far as the food goes what else can I say but... "THEY MAKE THEIR OWN CORN TORTILLAS" and they cook them near the dining room in front of you. The smell of the tortillas cooking is heavenly. Sever these tortillas with their delicious Chili Colorado, rice & beans and paired with a Fresh Mango Margarita in a Tajín rimed glass and you have a meal fit for an Aztec King. Lastly, I almost forgot to mention, it's all served by the nicest, friendliest, attentive servers in Hanford. We'll definitely be back. read more

I was totally shocked today. Valle Grullense is one of favorite restaurant. Today we ordered a bunch of chorizo and egg breakfast burritos (10) for the family. These were the worst burritos we've ever had. Super greasy (tortilla was soaked) but the issue was the chorizo was completely void of flavor and a couple had potato and the potato was hard barely cooked. I know this was a one off for the Valle, so disappointed in the chorizo. We threw most of the burritos away, just weren't edible. Go to Jalisco's on Lacy next to Chubby's. These are the best chorizo and burritos in the valley. read more
