Amazing Empanada Starter
Audriana J.

Left of Center is another hidden Gem I literally bought & served their cheesecake at my wedding { Pistachio } oh my word! Ain't no telling if they still serve all this, it's been a while-- however... The drinks were great, the ambience, & the service I cannot complain :)

Entryway.

Everything we had was delicious. We ordered the salsa and chips trio as an appetizer. I ordered the LOC Burger and my hubbs had the Cuban Sandwhich. We both had a beer and the Creme Brule Cheescake to share for dessert. We got there at about 1 on a Friday. It was busy but we were seated quickly. Our waiter had a lot of tables and our service was still great. The food was perfect. The sweet potatoe fries and sauce are so good. We had a great lunch. Our bill came to $95 which was steep but felt fair for the amount and quality of food. I love the paper tabletops so smart. Def 5 stars! Would definitely recommend.

Avocado Bruschetta Chicken 5/5 Recommend

This was my first time at Left of Center and it definitely won't be my last! I had the Avocado Bruschetta Chicken and it was delicious--the garlic cream sauce was amazing and really tied everything together. My husband and son both ordered tortas and they were HUGE! Everyone left full and satisfied. My husband swapped his fries for the chili verde mac, which I thought could use a little more cheese, but it was still a fun option to try. The team was super friendly and personable, which made the whole experience even better. Excited to come back and try more of the menu!

Pasillas stuffed slider

How have I never been to this place before today? What a waste of five years! Came here today with my mom for the first time. We shared the pasillas stuffed sliders. Came hot and juicy and extremely flavorful. We shared the ribeye torta with a side of sweet potato fries. The picture is of only half the sandwich. It was huge! Tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly. They split it for us and gave us both plenty of fries. Now these fries were seasoned with something phenomenal; like nothing I've ever had on sweet potato. It came with a side of a smoky chipotle sauce that paired perfectly. These people KNOW what they're doing. The establishment is on the smaller side but colorful and welcoming. Isaac was our waiter and he was very attentive. I didn't get a chance to try their cheesecakes but the flavors I saw were pistachio, cookies and cream, Caramel espresso and something with cranberry. They're minis so you can try multiple flavors.

Had the Tri tip sandwich. Was not impressed. Meat was dry , and on the tough, side. My friend had the jalapeño burger she was very good The sweet potato fries were awesome.

Side of Mac and cheese

Wow! Great food and great service! Generous portions along with all of your hoke cooked palate dreams. Had the chicken Cobb salad with home made dressing, steak burrito (bigger than my head) and side of Mac and cheese I'll be dreaming about for years ahead. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and kind, offering us silverware to take back to our hotel with our leftovers. You can tell it's a really great, close knit community. Don't sleep on this place, will definitely be back next time I'm here.

They had a special featuring three gin drinks and every one we tried was phenomenal. My favorite was the Flower Power, but the Nekocha was absolutely amazing. We started with the baked feta and Kalamata olive tapenade, which was rich, creamy, and delicious. For entrées, the NY strip was cooked perfectly and paired beautifully with the red wine reduction. The roasted chicken was incredibly moist and complemented well by the sautéed spinach and shiitake mushrooms. The sunset view made the evening even better. We were so full we had to skip the celebration dessert, which says a lot because we definitely would have ordered one otherwise! We got the spicy shrimp appetizer,12 oz New York strip, the lobster with mash potato's and Mac and cheese. Food was okay, price tag was steep for the quality. Especially considering, the "from the grill" section did not come with a side had to be ordered separate and food came out lukewarm but flavor was good (except the mash potato's they were bland). Drinks were good. Additional note: having bathroom lights that are on sensors, don't work well for people in stalls. Having to sit in a dark restroom while using the facilities is not an enjoyable experience. Two stars because the overall vibe is decent and drinks are good. Food is just ok for a luxury price and staff is not set up for success.

It's a small brown building with a small parking lot next to it. It's nice though that its open at 0630 so that the nightshift hospital staff can come here and decompress or send me off on my last day. First thing you notice about this place is the smell of urine from the bathrooms. You get use to it after a bit. As well as the "regulars" hanging out at the bar area. It's extremely small. Area for a pool table, some tables at the far end by the bathrooms, and a long bar counter. At least the tvs are nice and clear and big to watch games or sports as need be. There was a good 18 of us here. Prices are rediculously cheap. I'm glad they understand it's a dive bar and should thus be dive bar prices. A michelada was $4. A mimosa was $5. Bag of chips was $1. They have these sour candy shots for $4. The sour candy shots were really good. Michelada was simple. Bloody Mary mix with beer. But they were well made. I also had a crown royal apple with redbull that was really good. I don't remember how many drinks we went thru but it did the job and we were all feeling good. Customer service is good. Dude working behind the bar worked fast. I hear this place is pretty good when the sun is up, but has a pretty rough reputation at night with lots of shady people coming in at night. I definitely wouldn't come in here by my self even in the day time. But with a large group it's pretty cool. Nice and cheap. If you don't mind the urine smell and dilapidated look.

I sat at the bar, which was finished this evening for its first opening. I could smell the scent of fresh varnish as I sat alone at a long marble bar attended by two enthusiastic employees, Cameron, my server, and Katie, my bartender. I ordered the 10 oz. steak and the brussels sprout side, which were both excellent. I also enjoyed a glass of Sandhi Chardonnay and Banshee Pinot Noir. I appreciated the restaurant's by-the-glass options that are different from what I find listed at other similar establishments. The restaurant was packed and very lively. The owner, James, came out to say hello and share his story about the business, which I learned opened within the last 9 months. They roast their own coffee beans for a variety of after dinner selections. Truly, an impressive effort by a local restaurant to offer a unique and elevated dining experience. I was here on business travel and intend to visit again. Highly recommended.

I ordered salmon, which was a very large piece of salmon and it looked delightful, but no flavor at all. It was overcooked so it was a bit dry and I could tell without even asking that this was farm raised pre-frozen salmon. This was not a $30 slice of salmon. It was served on a bed of lettuce.. the lettuce was crisp and fresh and there was an egg included, which was a bit chewy for a hard boiled egg so it was overcooked as well. There were several large slices of tomatoes, which were just too big and probably should've been diced up and served appropriately.
