We had lunch at LOC today-flatbread and French dip with street corn. DELICIOUS!!! Street corn was fresh and sweet. I had asked them to cut it in half, which was done perfectly! Flatbread had chicken added and was very flavorful; soft crust with a good selection of items on it. French dip and kettle fries were made to perfection! Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. LOC is a local establishment, not a chain serving microwaved food. Their food is amazing, the staff is attentive, and your meal will arrive, hot, very flavorful, plentiful and always a great value. My husband and I will usually start our meal with a shared salad (their COB salad is my favorite), each of us orders an entree and then perhaps we share a desert. With that order, we often ask for a take-out container. We have enjoyed their varied menu selections and will continue to make LOC one of our favorite restaurants in Visalia. read more

Everything we had was delicious. We ordered the salsa and chips trio as an appetizer. I ordered the LOC Burger and my hubbs had the Cuban Sandwhich. We both had a beer and the Creme Brule Cheescake to share for dessert. We got there at about 1 on a Friday. It was busy but we were seated quickly. Our waiter had a lot of tables and our service was still great. The food was perfect. The sweet potatoe fries and sauce are so good. We had a great lunch. I had the Avocado Bruschetta Chicken and it was delicious--the garlic cream sauce was amazing and really tied everything together. My husband and son both ordered tortas and they were HUGE! Everyone left full and satisfied. My husband swapped his fries for the chili verde mac, which I thought could use a little more cheese, but it was still a fun option to try. How have I never been to this place before today? What a waste of five years! Came here today with my mom for the first time. We shared the pasillas stuffed sliders. Came hot and juicy and extremely flavorful. We shared the ribeye torta with a side of sweet potato fries. The picture is of only half the sandwich. It was huge! Tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly. They split it for us and gave us both plenty of fries. Now these fries were seasoned with something phenomenal; like nothing I've ever had on sweet potato. It came with a side of a smoky chipotle sauce that paired perfectly. These people KNOW what they're doing. The establishment is on the smaller side but colorful and welcoming. Isaac was our waiter and he was very attentive. I didn't get a chance to try their cheesecakes but the flavors I saw were pistachio, cookies and cream, Caramel espresso and something with cranberry. Wow! Great food and great service! Generous portions along with all of your hoke cooked palate dreams. Had the chicken Cobb salad with home made dressing, steak burrito (bigger than my head) and side of Mac and cheese I'll be dreaming about for years ahead. I ended up ordering a grilled chicken sandwich with portobello mushrooms and jalapeños. He recommended the portobello mushroom sandwich and I just asked if grilled chicken and jalapeños could be added. No mayo too. He said yes. Of course with an additional charge. He said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went to get it and the worker was very kind. The order was ready too! I paid for the order and he wished me a good day! Very nice restaurant! They have some great Mexican appetizers were wide variety of different salads and sandwiches, and some unique desserts. My husband got the ribeye torta and LOVED it. I think he was expecting strips of steak, but the meat was really great quality, and he mentioned that the grilled onions really brought the whole thing together. I got the Latin bowl, which was fine. If we came back here I would probably try something else like the salmon sandwich. We both got sides of street corn with the flamin hot Cheetos (you can truly never go wrong with elote!), and share a mini cheesecake (cookies n cream) for dessert. Overall we'd be back! The portion seemed pretty large based off of what was on the plates of folks at other tables. The quality was great, and the service was wonderful. Saturday night looking for a light dinner option. This place came up so decided to give it a try. Called in my order of 4 items they informed me it would be 20minutes. Had to google this place, never been there before. When I arrived the restaurant was in a familiar area...didn't even know it existed. Decor was rustic with a flare. Business level slow for a Saturday night. Menu was average and pricing was fair...until I reviewed my entrees. Guacamole was Avocado Hash not homemade it should of been for the price $13. Mac and cheese was over cooked cheese fat content had separated making it greasy. Vegetarian Sandwich was mostly focaccia bread. Portobello mushroom was a micro one. Came here due to the reviews of 4 stars. This really was a disappointing experience. We ordered for pick up. We ordered the Jalapeño burger,Loc, and the happy hour special burger. First of all no extras, Ketchup, Napkins or knives were placed in our bag. Which was inconvenience, luckily the hotel got us some. Meat obviously frozen, way too dry even though ordered medium well. Burger had a taste I can't really pin point exactly but instead of a smoked grilled flavor it was of an overwhelming propane. We ended up tossing it all out. Fries also frozen, shame since fresh always tastes better. My son that loves burgers didn't even touch his. Can't see why this place had good reviews. Hopefully they can improve. I've been dying to go here for quite sometime now ever since they opened many years ago. Finally got the chance to try it out. The place is small, but with great food, drinks and service you don't need anything too big. Had the sliders, nachos and the flat bread and everything was full of flavor and juicy where it needed to be. Drinks I went with one of their Serrano Spicy Margaritas.
