My husband and I did a day time bar crawl on Thanksgiving weekend. This was our first stop. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We ordered house wine. It was OK, next time I'd get a pricier glass. The ambiance was wonderful, we got to hear some live guitar. We stayed about an hour and the bar was getting busier as we left. I have been here at night and i do know it gets packed. This is a fun spot. Ive never tried the food but ive heard its great.

This is such a cool atmosphere; Visalia y'all are moving on up. New Orleans meets Downtown Visalia. Holidays are select menu options. Weekend evenings are live music; which is pretty cool. Ordered the bayou prawns and rice ; omg that sauce is killer; I ate it on my rice and my shrimp and almost licked the plate. I was eyeballing it for sure. I want that receipe. My husband ordered the grilled calamari; different texture; not heavy ; however I did miss the crispyness of being fried lol. Bring on the grease lol. I must say it was tasty though and much healthier option. The bar makes drinks like hurricanes and all the cocktails you find in NOLA. Two floors to dine in and a bar ; I will be back !

While visiting the area we tried this restaurant. The atmosphere and ambiance were great! They had a live band and a really nice decor inside. It almost transported you to Louisiana! The food was okay. We got the appetizer sampler and one of the shrimps on the appetizer menu. The shrimp was delicious and it had a great sauce and tasted great with the slices of bread. The sampler platter was just okay. The chicken wings were kind of fatty and gross. What we were most surprised by is that the menu is posted on here are very out of date and several of the prices were nearly double. I included an updated menu.

Crawdaddy's is old school fine dining in downtown Visalia. They have a full bar downstairs and a large elegant dining room upstairs with another bar. It was pretty empty for an early dinner. We were seated immediately. Service was very attentive. They have a modest wine list but it is good quality. The Caesar salad and crab cakes were both excellent - flavorful and well prepared. I even snagged a bite of the etoufee which was similarly well prepared. I will definitely be back. Great service, reasonable prices and lots of options in an elegant and quiet environment.

We were traveling in CA on a family trip & heard about this restaurant on the radio & decided to book a reservation. Martha helped us while we were there & OMG she is sooooo sweet & amazing! She helped me decide on which entree because I couldn't make up my mind & went with the spicy shrimp & scallop pasta & WOW was it good! She kept everyone in our party full of beverages & asked multiple times if anyone needed anything. She was such a treat to have as our server that day. Definitely ask for her if you can! :)

I came here for drinks and dessert tonight with my husband. We sat in the bar area and there was a live band playing. We had a great time. The band was great, and one of the bartenders even joined in to sing a song. They have big doors lining the bottom floor, and since it was a warm night all of the doors were open so the music poured out onto the streets. The decor is very dated but it adds to the charm. Our server was great and very attentive while dodging dancing adults and kids and fighting to hear over the music. We had the bread pudding bites for dessert. It was a smaller portion than I expected, and since the bites just sat on top of the sauce, they were crispy but also a bit dry. This dessert read as almost more of a funnel cake to me, but it still tasted good. To drink, I had the blood orange margarita and my husband had the Moscow mule. The Moscow mule used fresh ginger, but lots of it, so it was very gingery. The blood orange margarita almost tasted more like a pink lemonade, I couldn't really taste the alcohol and it was a bit overly sweet. We then shared the Bourbon Street Hooker cocktail. This was a very interesting cocktail, it was definitely stronger than the first two, but the flavors didn't really seem to go together, it wasn't very smooth. All of the drinks were decent but I think the proportions were slightly off with all of them. Overall the dessert and drinks were decent, but the vibes will definitely have us coming back!

Zucchini appetizer- it was crunchy not soft. So good.

Omg love this place. Came on a Wednesday. They had Matthew as entertainment. He gives out a paper with tons of songs on it . You choose a song and shout it out so he can sing and play guitar. It's crazy he knows every word without looking at anything. He interacts with the guests . So much fun. The food was delicious too. Pricey but worth it. Great meals and ambiance. 100% recommend this place while the have entertainment. Great job Matthew!!!!!

My parents were treated terribly the night of the Amy Grant concert recently. My parents rarely are afforded the opportunity to go out due to chronic pain because of their disabilities . I had purchased tickets for my mom for Christmas due to sentimental reasons . She was very excited , got dressed up and so did my dad who walks with not one but two canes . They took their pain meds and decided to make it a date despite physical barriers . They drove from Hanford to Visalia Fox Theatre. There was no available parking nearby so my dad parked 2 blocks back and hobbled to meet my mom on his two canes for two blocks . Once at the door some young employee tells my mother she can't come in with her backpack purse , meanwhile others are entering inside with purses that didn't have straps . This very young looking employee alerts a " manager " and the manager advances toward my mom with a disgusted expression from what my mom described who by the way is nice to everyone . I'm the mean one when my people are treated badly , but she is not . My mom asks , I dont understand the rationale . How is this purse any different than the other purses other than it has two straps and you can wear it like a backpack? How is that a safety issue in comparison to a regular purse . Both can easily conceal contraband ? I can't walk this far again . I guess I can't go ." The so-called-manager stated " well I guess you can't" in a condescending tone . My handicapped parents hobbled back to their car defeated and were unable to attend the concert that I paid FULL PRICE for in December. They were really sad . You people are monsters ! Close to 150 dollars down the drain . I wonder what Amy Grant would think about how you treated my parents . She is a Christian artist . I was livid when I found out . I was at work while this occurred otherwise your staff would have gotten a very unpleasant phone call from me in real time for how badly they treated my parents . I did call the theatre and I was directed to a voice mail of a woman named Wilamina. She never returned my call ( to my knowledge) No voice mails left . I guess she had better things to do with her time as a manager than manage business relationships with unhappy consumers . Do better Visalia Fox Theatre . My questions for this business are as follows 1. What accommodations do you have in place for ADA laws that accommodate persons with disabilities? Seating ? Parking ? Are your staff educated with ADA laws and what specific training do you provide ? When your staff identified two seniors who were struggling with visible disabilities , were they offered assistance ? 2. How is it that two straps on a purse are more dangerous or threatening than a single strap bag ? Please enlighten me on how there is a greater likelihood of contraband entering the theater with a two strap purse . Brilliant . Your safety measures are superior and sophisticated as are your professional and empathetic staff . On a side note, I've been sharing this experience with some friends . My friend mentioned she attended an event at Hanford Fox theatre a few months ago and was permitted to bring in her backpack purse .

Although security is present they do not enforce seating at all. You may pay for a premium seat but folks are allowed to bounce to the front and down the aisles near the stage and block your view. There is seating only in the orchestra area no pit so essentially folks are on top of you or stealing your purchased premium seat to be near the stage. Quite annoying! Folks are also over served alcohol which makes for an even less pleasant experience when you're getting spilled drinks on you and hit in the head because a drunk girl can't control her swaying hands. I witnessed this and no action by security standing nearby. It's sponsored by Budweiser so expect Bud products. No food only overpriced popcorn to go with the over priced beer, cocktails and wine. One regular sized can of beer is $12. Sometimes it's not about the money you make it's about the customer experience! The Fox theatre in Bakersfield is well managed and a completely more pleasant experience as a concert venue. If you're looking to have a positive time out making great memories then select the Bakersfield Fox theatre over the one in Visalia.

Damn, I gotta say for me, 2025 was a great year for concerts…read more Twenty shows all told, at venues ranging geographically over six thousand miles from Southern and Northern California, to Las Vegas, to Tulsa, Oklahoma and Munich, Germany. It truly was a great year. If you would've asked me on June 1 what was my favorite of the 2025 shows I'd seen I would have said the two Dead & Company concerts I saw at the Las Vegas Sphere. Absolutely incredible shows. But then in October I travelled to Tulsa to see some shows at Cain's Ballroom. I visit Oklahoma every year and I always make it a point to see a show or two at Cain's. This year at Cain's I saw two artists I had never heard of before. The headliner for the two shows I saw was Josh Meloy. He was good, and had a fantastic band behind him. But it was the band opening the show for Josh on the first night that blew me away: Kenny Feidler and the Cowboy Killers. I don't remember the last time I saw a band that I immediately fell in love with so completely. I walked out of that show a changed person. Kenny is a prolific songwriter. He's a former rodeo star and many of his songs reflect that experience. Most commonly Kenny's music is classified as Alt-Country, but I don't actually know what that means. What I do know, though, is rock and roll. And Kenny's band, The Cowboy Killers are a kick ass rock and roll band. First thing I did after seeing him at Cain's was go online to check out Kenny's tour schedule. I was so happy to discover he would be playing some shows in California in December. I had to choose between Costa Mesa and Fresno. Costa Mesa would've been closer but after I checked out the Yelp page for Fulton 55, I instantly knew this would be the place to see a show. And I was right. The venue is a great place to see live music. Security at the door was cool. Inside, the sound was clear and loud, the crowd was chill, and it didn't take forever to get a drink at the bar. Brady Stovall opened the show and I enjoyed his set. I liked how his drummer just used the Cowboy Killer's drummer's kit, so it didn't take long between bands. Kenny Feidler and the boys played a 17 song, 90 minute set that included a blistering, nearly six minute version, of the song Cowboy Killers. Happily, a lot of the songs performed were from Kenny's most recent (2025) release, The Western Tragedy, including Idaho Hippies and The Bronc Fighter. After the show I got the chance to meet Kenny and get a photo. What a great guy! This wasn't the first time Kenny has played a show at 55 Fulton, and inshallah it won't be the last. Whenever that next show happens, for sure I'm gonna be there. Mikey C says: damn right!

This is a pretty old building pretty much next door to Warnors Theater. It's showing some wear, I felt bad for the old bar top that is really scraped and scuffed (and sticky). but this is still a decent place for shows or to rent for events. It can feel empty if there aren't a lot of people. Our last two visits were to hear music, both times really good - DJ Mr Leonard about a month ago and then The Box playing live with local artists Hope Garcia and Ben Napoles. Both times music was great and I had so much fun dancing .... But there was hardly anyone in attendance! Just crazy. My biggest complaint is that they rarely have any good beers. And the draft beer tastes ... off. The other thing is the drinks are inconsistent. So I stick to simple here; jack and coke, etc. and that's kind of a bummer. *however,* I can get a simple (and large) drink of say, Tanqueray or Courvesior with soda for just $8. I'll take it! Last night they were serving tacos for cheap, which was nice - we bought another round with them so also smart lol. And bartenders have always been friendly, no assholes.
