My husband and I went in the other day for lunch and the owner came in with her dog which was on a very long leash. The dog was walking through the dining area as the owner was bagging up items. Then the dog went behind the counter where drinks and food are served to customers at the bar. Who knows where else the dog goes during off hours if allowed in during business? We cancelled our order and left. We went to another restaurant in town and mentioned this to the owner there and they agreed it was wrong. And also proceeded to tell us rules even concerning service dogs in a restaurant. ( Which obviously is a different situation and they don't roam dining areas). This is California Health Code Violation. Needless to say we won't be eating here again. The Code: H&SC § 114259.5 prohibits live animals inside, citing potential contamination of food, equipment, and utensils. read more

We came in for a reservation at lunch for a party of 7. It ended up being a total of 8, which they were able to accommodate. From the start, the servers are very nice, the bar/restaurant is REALLY cool. They have a sort of jungle cruise theme going, but for the month of September, they have a Harry Potter theme going too. Once our party all arrived, our order was taken and it was over a half hour wait! There were only 2 servers for the whole place, which is odd given it got really busy during the lunch hour rush. Most of our team only had an hour to eat and our food was brought out in waves - a few dishes first, then a couple more, and then a couple more. By the time all the food came out it was 12:45 and one of our party hadn't received their meal. The server came and informed us they hadn't made it and would work on it immediately. This really dampened our celebration because we weren't able to enjoy together. Everyone left and the last meal had to be boxed to go. That felt really terrible, to have one person watch the rest of us eat. Lastly, they had fees, on top of fees, on top of fees! The food is great, the theme is awesome, but the service and staff could use some help. read more

The sweet potato fries were my absolute favorite, not greasy or soggy, they had a perfect crunch. The bang bang chicken was also very good. Their drinks were really good and strong too. The service is amazing, the waiter was very attentive even tho it was a bit busy. You can sit at a table or at the bar. I enjoyed my time here I didn't feel rushed to leave even as we got closer to closing time. It's the place to be at on a Friday night. read more

I'm ready to give this place a review. I've been a few times now. The variety of food choices is very nice. I haven't been disappointed with any of my food. Drinks and beer selection is on point. Ambiance is playful -- be prepared for the monkeys to get lively about every 30 minutes. Food, drinks, atmosphere are all pluses. read more

11/19/25 Getting lunch! Heard great things from other Yelpers! Must check out!! =D Arrived! GREAT Pub! Greeted the min I walked in! The worker was very kind and happy to give recommendations. She recommended the Tradewinds Club for something lite & GREAT. I order that with no mayo and onion rings instead of fries. Started with a Diet drink and it was brought quickly & GREAT!! Very nice, calm & low key inside. Nice wood bar with much more seating outside of it. Holiday music playing. Cheery. Lots of room! The bender told me they are currently transitioning from Halloween to Christmas. Said they are in the scary Christmas phase right now. Lol! We laughed. Order brought shortly later with "Enjoy!" wishes! Appreciated! Fresh & Tasty Tradewinds Club sandwich! DELICIOUS! GREAT onion rings too! They have ketchup and Tapatio. Used that to dip and add to sandwich to spice it up! FANTASTIC!! Leftovers too! 1/2 was plenty. Bartender had no problem getting me a drink to go and box for my food. Paid for it and left. GREAT service, Pub & lunch! Highly recommended!! read more

Overall a 10/10 and I don't even leave review like this with the number thing. This place is up there if not the best hidden place I've found yet. We stayed for 3 hours and didn't even realize. Karaoke was amazing! Food was amazing! Veronica and her team were amazing! The atmosphere was amazing! I realize my experience was super charged because I had way less expectations as a pub, it was a far drive. When I called they said the kitchen closed at 9 and then I called back and they said 9:30, thats my only critique. I've found that pubs have select menus later in the night, and kitchen often closes early. I definitely was able to order dessert just before 9:30. Highly recommend for a date night! read more

I had been wanting to try this place for some time. So glad I finally came by and already have plans to come back. I feel like Tradewinds Pub is the closest us CenCal people will get to the Tiki bar in Disneyland. Totally fun vibe! As soon as we walked in we heard monkey noises which seem to go on every half hour or so with flashing lights. So much fun and engagement. The staff was super attentive and friendly. The drink menu is large, a little bit for everyone! The drinks are also super cute and delicious! Mine was the pineapple and strawberry whip float, I believe it had sparkling wine. It was way too easy to drink! My friend ordered a classic margarita and she enjoyed it as well. My friend got the bang bang shrimp which is her go to every time she comes. I tried it and wow it blew my mind, I wish I would have ordered that to go. I ordered the Thai salad with shrimps. It was HUGE with tons of protein. The dressing was creamy and the salad was crunchy. The shrimp were flavorful, a little salty but with the veggies and dressing I feel like it was a great balance. Looking forward to returning for one of their themed events! read more

This place is super cute for a family friendly tiki bar! Unfortunately, we don't have too many tiki options in the Fresno area so it's nice to be able to drive to Reedley and experience a place like Tradewinds. We stopped in for a couple of drinks and enjoyed a dessert as well (carrot cake) and everything was tasty. I will say, the drinks are more tropical inspired as opposed to being truly aligned with more rebounded tiki bars in California, but they were well crafted and the bartender was lovely and helpful in steering us in a tasty direction! The decor is also fun, especially since there's a little "show" that happens every 30 minutes or so where the monkeys come to life and cause mayhem in the place with flickering lights and whatnot. It's super cute and kids would love it! Overall this is a unique place that I'm thankful exists! read more

Visited the Tradewinds last night. Why did no one tell me about the monkeys. 8:15 the monkeys started and I thought well I am drunk. The bar has monkeys that go off when you buy a special drink or about every 45 minutes. You have been warned. I got the shepherds pie and a beer. Both came quickly with one hot and one cold. At night street parking is easy to find. Cute place and a good place to go. read more

I've always been a fan of this place. The atmosphere is great, the drinks are solid, and the food is usually above average. I've genuinely wanted this restaurant to succeed, especially knowing the owner cares. Unfortunately, this visit went about as wrong as it could. We were seated quickly on a busy Friday night, which was a good start. Oddly, they were doing a marketing photoshoot right in the middle of peak dinner hours, but we tried not to let that distract from the experience. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The appetizer arrived in about 10 minutes, but the drinks took 20, and still no water or the lemonade for my daughter. After waiting, I asked for the drinks again. Another 10 minutes passed before a different server brought a kids' cup of water, but still no lemonade. I'm not trying to be picky over a child's drink, I just prefer to communicate everything at once so the staff can keep things running smoothly without repeated interruptions. We ordered our entrees and a second round of drinks. The food arrived missing half the condiments we requested, and more concerningly, the chicken wrap came without any chicken. At this point, we had a stack of side plates piling up. Multiple servers walked by (including the one who brought our entrees) but didn't clear them. When I finally saw the owner, I asked if the chicken wrap was supposed to come without chicken. She offered a side of chicken breast, which I declined, and she finally cleared the plates that had been sitting there since the appetizer. Our server returned to ask if we needed anything. I declined, and she kindly offered a complimentary dessert, which I also declined, and asked for the check. When the bill came, everything was charged in full, including the chicken wrap that never had chicken. I genuinely love this place, and I'm not writing this to bash them. But this visit felt chaotic like the staff was either overwhelmed or undertrained. And that can ruin what should've been a nice evening. For reference: one chicken (no chicken) wrap, two Old Fashioneds, two Moscow Mules, one forgotten kids' lemonade, one shrimp appetizer, and one kids' sliders meal came out to $121. I really want this restaurant to succeed. I'm leaving this review in the hope that they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements, because it's a place worth saving. read more

All about the Gram So the Harry Potter theming and decor was amazing and I absolutely adored it. But the food was pretty sub par pulled pork sandwiches Shepard's pie fish and chips all tasted like they were brought in frozen and then reheated. Their signature cocktails, the ones that are always on the menu, were good. But the special cocktails were all overly sweet we tried three out of four. The servers were friendly and attentive if you are in the area I'd take a look. read more

Everything was great food the service And the atmosphere was fairly well. I liked it old style western like a Cantina. We sat at a half moon table plenty of room for a couples of 6 this leather seats for a little bit worn out and torn otherwise everything was great. It was on a borderline or the three star of four star. I gave it a three star. read more

This was a very weird place. I was charmed by the decor and the animatronic monkeys. The servers were nice and attentive (although we felt a bit rushed out the door). And the ice water and the Andes mint were excellent. But there are a lot of weird problems here that make it so I wouldn't come back here, as cute as the decor was. 1. Wildly high price for what you get. I think my inedible sandwich was $27 or $28 dollars. 2. Insanely slow service (not the servers fault). We ordered cocktails and dinner. A half hour later, we still didn't have our drinks and the bartender was spending most of his time at a table with his family who popped in to visit him. I actually loved that the family came in and that he has happy to see them. It was really sweet. But someone should have been, you know, making drinks. We were just sitting at our table with our ice water looking at the unattended bar while he was having a nice visit. A nice extended visit without a care in the world. 3. A truly horrible drink -- so this is partly on me. I read the description of the "walk the plank" and thought it sounded like the sort of tropical cocktail I'd like, especially given the tropical ambiance of the decor. Well, after half an hour plus, when the drink finally came, it was really horrible. It was more like... a burnt old-fashioned. So that's on me, I made a bad choice. I normally would ask the server hey I want another drink please (you know, and pay for both obviously) and ask what's a good tropical fruity drink here... BUT I didn't want to wait another half hour plus for it, because it was the before-dinner drink and it came out about two minutes before my raw sandwich. The weirdly slow drink service made it not worth ordering another. 4. Inedible sandwich. I ordered a French dip. I very often order a French dip when I want a sandwich, and in the hundred places in my life (probably) where I've ordered a French dip, I don't recall ever receiving an inedible one. Until now. There was a thick piece of gristly fatty meat that was basically raw in the middle. I was so incredibly grossed out. I was having a bad time here at this point and I didn't want to try to send it back. The bread was burned black too. I like toasted bread -- even a bit black -- but this was too much. Raw gristly meat and burned bread. My husband pointed out that if I removed the thick raw piece there would still be a little meat and vegetable so I tried that and ate half that way: meh. The fat and gristle that remained was not pleasant: worst and most expensive French dip sandwich of my life. The fries were completely cold. Not hot. Not slightly warm. Room temp. I don't mind room temp fries but a lot of people do. So I'm adding that: the fries were OK only because I like cold fries just fine. My husband ordered the shepherd's pie and thought it was fine. I had a bite and was absolutely overwhelmed by rosemary -- and I like rosemary. I didn't like it but he did. Our servers were very sweet. But at the end, when we decided to linger a bit (my husband didn't hate my drink and decided to drink it after dinner) they were rushing us out the door. The server asked if I wanted more water. I said no thanks (it was almost half full and I was still drinking it as my husband was finishing my walk the plank) so she quickly whisked the water glasses away -- it was clearly a "you can leave now" moment. And we had been totally pleasant to everyone despite the overall bad experience. it was just a bad experience in a weird place and it was very expensive. Hard pass. No. I guess two stars for the cute decor and the hope that the food is not this bad every day and that the bartender disappearing is an unusual occurrence? read more

Great place. It really takes you out of the small town of Reedley to the jungle! Every 30 or so minutes the monkeys hanging down from the ceiling would swing and make noise as the lights flicker!! The kids loved it. We walked in on a Saturday night and they said that it would be about a 45min wait but really we waited less than 10mins and we got seated. It was very crammed inside and hard to walk around. I'm glad we were towards the back (easy access to the bathroom and back exit) The waitress came and took our drink orders. She was so nice and helpful when I asked about the drinks and what they taste like. The drinks are very reasonably priced and taste very good. There is a wide range of drink options and liquors to choose from. I did ask about their new "punch bowl" style mule where you can share with the table but you need four adults to order. It is a little over priced compared to the same drink on the menu alone. The owner brought us the drinks when they were ready and shortly after the waitress came and took our food order. We got our food but never really saw the waitress after that and we wanted to order more drinks. We had to stop the owner and place our drink order through her. Other than that we LOVED this place. We for sure will come back when we're in town!! read more

What a hidden gem in the Central Valley! This is a fantastic, Adventure-Themed adorable pub in Reedley, CA! But that's not all...my food was absolutely scrumptious! I ordered the Thai Salad Wrap and I was unbelievably satisfied! Ok, ya ready for it...cabbage, carrots, edemame, red bell peppers, cucumber, green onions, cilantro, Thai peanut dressing, wrapped in a flour tortilla, then slightly grilled just to seal it. Came with Ponzu Dipping Sauce and delicious fries. The wrap includes chicken, but I opted for just veggie, and I asked if they had grilled pineapple, boy they delivered! I couldn't wait to take home my leftovers for a midnight snack...but I had no leftovers- so... freakin'...good! I would drive to Reedley just for that! Everyone else at the table loved their food as well. They do Karaoke on Thursdays, and the atmosphere in itself is just very... Disneyland Adventureland Vibes! You need to experience for yourself...I won't give it all away! The servers all have themed attire, are super attentive, and serve quality items! I saw a segment for this place on the local news, and was curious...but my first experience far exceeded any expectations. Oh, and the best comfortable booths, I could go on and on. It was the textures, the flavors, the attention to detail-Just check them out! You won't be disappointed. Yay, well done Tradewinds! read more

The ambiance was fun and festive! The drinks were yummy and the food tasty! The service was fantastic!

4.5/5 because the food and drinks are great and the theming goes above and beyond. It's definitely the kind of place you see on Instagram. The rotations in menu and seasonal themes keep things new and interesting, even for locals. The prices can be high depending on what you're having but that's everything these days. The main downside is the service can be super slow. If you're on a time crunch, I wouldn't recommend eating here, but you have time to enjoy the company and the elaborate decor, definitely check it out. Add their bang bang sauce to anything (chicken, shrimp, fish - tacos, sandwiches) for a delightful meal. read more

This is a nice escape from reality to just relax and hangout with family or friends. Roughly every thirty minutes ; the jungle comes to life. Pretty cool. Makes you feel like a shrimp addict. The table also ordered potato skins ; which were good too. These are both shareable apps. Gets busy on the weekends; service is good! read more
