As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted seated right away with menus in hand. The young lady took our drink orders & brought them out within minutes. All questions answered. This was our second time here and both of us were craving the Monte Cristo sandwich (was so delicious last time). Cook was waiting for eggs, now change of plans. To start out we got an order Warm Pretzels with Beer cheese, yum - try them out!Friend got the Chicken & Fries, order had 4 nice sized pieces of chicken & tasty fries. My order was the BLT, served on a nice soft bread, lots of bacon, couple slices of tomatoes & lettuce with the fries. All very good, great service & a fun place to checkout! Eat & support local!

Just one of many fun times at Grogg's!!

We ride the bike trail a lot, and no ride is complete without a stop at Grogg's. Some rides we even hit Grogg's twice, once at the start and then again at the end of the ride. We always get great service (I especially love days when we catch Josiah behind the bar.) My husband always goes for a cocktail, but I think Grogg's has some of the coldest taps in town, so I go for a beer. And their food is great! After a long ride and a lot of day drinking, the clucks and fries are exactly what you want to eat!!! We've rolled in just the two of us, my husband and I, or we've come in with a group as big as 25, and no matter what, we're always greeted with fast and friendly service. And the vibe is total neighborhood bar. I can't think of a single time I've been at Grogg's and didn't pick up a few new friends.

    Happy hour

A great friendly neighborhood place... they seem to all know each other, it's my first time here!

BLT with mushrooms instead of bacon & side salad with italian.

Stopped by here with some friends in the evening. Very fun, welcoming, laid back, chill, casual atmosphere. I enjoyed a BLT with mushrooms instead of bacon & also a side salad with Italian- good portion sizes. I also devoured some of their fries, fresh & crisp on the outside, hot on the inside. I ordered a soda, and our server, Amy, was very attentive with multiple refills, napkins, bbq sauce- whatever we needed. In addition to the beer and Margaritas that were enjoyed at our table, the food as a whole was quite tasty. Surprisingly lovely presentation of meals, food items, etc. Everything came out hot and fresh. We will be going back there again.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for the first time. It looks like an average bar with decent inside and outside seating. The staff was ok not rude or overly friendly. Our waitress was attentive until it got busy. There was a guy helping her but he kept walking by our table ignoring us or so it seemed. We went a good 30 minutes without a drink. This is why I gave them 3 stars. We started off with drinks. The drinks were decent. I didn't order anything complicated just a Jack and Sprite. The appetizers are pretty good. I had chicken strips with fries and pretzels with cheese. The food came out hot and flavorful . I liked the music that was playing and the option to put the app on your phone to select the music you want to hear. I would definitely come back one more time and hopefully the service is better.

After Zumba six of us wanted to go have something to eat, so we decided to try this restaurant. None of us have been here before. We were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress/bartender, Amy was so attentive, nice, and gave details about the menu. We will definitely be back.

Amy the waitress/bartender was very friendly and helpful. A couple of people in our group were vegetarians and she was very accommodating. The fish and chips were delicious and the mushroom hamburger was good. The fries with ketchup were super tasty!

I had a great time at Groggs while having lunch on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. Groggs is located on the corner of Willow/Nees in my favorite area of Fresno/Clovis. Our bartenders name was Josiah, and he did a great job taking care of my party. Josiah was prompt and very informational. I was able to get the Fish n Chips with a few bears and a couple glasses of Tullamore along the way. I tried the different combinations of Guiness drinks, including Bass, Cider, and Blue Moon. The Tullamore we chose was a special Cider Cask Edition, and it fit perfectly with my array of Guinness drinks. All in all a good time with great service, food, and drinks!

Brought my dog to lunch, taking a break from the Clovis trail. They had doggie bowls :)

This is just a beer bar, so beers and seltzers only. I went with the Crow and Wolf Ocean Blast seltzer; a blue coconut, mango, pineapple, and lime beverage. Insanely good and refreshing on a hot afternoon. My wife went a peach seltzer that was just as tasty. We sat in the backyard area, that offers plenty of seating, a few TVs, and a ordering window so you don't need to head to the inside bar to order more drinks. The out area has smoking and non-smoking sections and is dog friendly, but they must be leashed. For food, we went the tri-tip BBQ pizza and a soft pretzel. The pizza was delicious and the perfect size for two people. Huge chunks of tri-tip, spicy BBQ sauce, and very cheesy. I asked for jalapenos on the side for an extra kick of heat. Right now is the perfect time to hit up this place since the weather has been so beautiful. Make sure to check their Instagram page for live music and keep supporting local!

The crust is nice and crispy and it has the perfect amount of toppings, we also got the tri tip sandwich that comes on Dutch crunch bread and who doesn't like a nice Dutch crunch?! The bbq sauce was also delicious and I loved how the tri tip was not too thin, not too thick. They have so many different offerings, I noticed they have a 'beer float' which I will order with Crow & Wolf's Dark Wolf next time. They have so many event we happened to go on open mic night and it was a nice chill experience, but I'm really looking forward to trivia night on Tuesdays. Let me start by saying I have been to the point many times before and it has been meh I guess okay…read more Patio is nice and spacious and bar has a nice setup, tap can be better in selection. Food is really good, a little pricey but good. The last 3 Fridays our company have been reserving the outdoor tables and we have to say, our interaction with our favorite waitress ms Sarah has made a big different on how we spend our Fridays now. Not only is she very attentive to our needy group, we love her spunky personality, and appreciate her taking the time to making sure all allergy is top priority (myself nuts, shellfish and dairy). We appreciate happy hour specials and never once prior we had a waitress go through the menu mentioning specials until God sent Ms Sarah. I personally love the seasonal cocktail menu and always excited to try them. What really stood out the most in the last visit being just my husband and our 2 little ones are the little things Ms Sarah does like bringing out stickers for my girls and closed container drinks. Having the crust cut off the grilled cheese for my baby girl and bringing out a surprise birthday sundae for my oldest daughter. Ending the night with my favorite buttercake pudding. The girls went on and on about ms Sarah and how they like her so much and love her beautiful nails. Sunday, i came by for a quick bite with one of my girlfriends, I had an incident where I had order pad Thai and when it arrived to my table, ms Sarah walked up to say hello, she was not our waitress that evening and said "Aren't you allergic to nuts?! Why yes! Yes I am! I don't want to get anyone in trouble for negligence but yes I am deadly allergic to peanuts and the pad Thai is full of peanut sauce. Talk about A CLOSE ONE! My girlfriend and I switch dinner. Long story short, it takes simply less than 10 seconds to ask about an allergy nd like I said, god sent Ms Sarah to the rescue! Beside the close call to heaven, Thank you The point for making your restaurant so special to not only for my business but a happy place for my family. Mostly, I wanted to make this review for ma Sarah for being so good to me and helping me venture out trying new food items and cocktails that I would never myself have tried.

Based on the atmosphere alone, this place is amazing. I absolutely love the vibe and setup of this restaurant/ bar. The staff is welcoming , and there are plenty of drink options available. Unfortunately, that is where the fun stops. The menu is too basic for a nice place like this. You will find standard bar options like burgers, sandwiches, and so on. However, places like Yard House do it better. The Point Patio is too nice to have food this boring. For a starter, I opted for the bruschetta which was just ok. I did appreciate the little kick of spice in their version. For dinner, I opted for the short rib tacos and they were pretty sad. Think street tacos with shredded meat , cabbage and salsa. Meh. These little tacos were served with a handful of tortilla chips and salsa. Thank goodness we got a side of sweet potato fries to supplement our meal. The fries saved the day because that aioli sauce was great! I am disappointed. When I walked in , I thought this was going to be a dining experience. Instead , i was wondering if there are any restaurants in Fresno that combine this type of environment -with food that actually tastes good.

Idk. *shrugs* This time we got: Pad Kra Pao, Pad Se-Ew (beef), Yellow Curry (chicken), and Thai Style Papaya Salad for dinner. We each had a different favorite dish out of the three entrees... Pad Se-Ew was mine (noodle head), followed by the Pad Kra Pao (perfect flavor, not too strong on the basil, egg fried just right), then the curry last (I prefer green or red more). The salad was good, refreshing. No spice whatsoever, but we knew that (one of the girls can't handle as much spice). The winner of our dinner? The Thai Tea Flight! I love the option of flights anywhere I go. It gives you the chance to try all the flavors you're curious about without committing to one that you may or may not like. Man... these were amazing. If I had to rank the flavors-- it was a toss-up between the Original Thai Tea and the Ube but since this is the battle of the Thai Teas... the OG gets a slight edge. Both freaking amazing though (we ordered full sizes of these after). Obviously Thai Iced Coffee comes next but coffee should be it's own category. It wins on its own as coffee. The Green Thai Tea came in last for all 3 of us, I believe. It's good, just not as good as the other three... and it's definitely more fragrant? Idk the right word for it. Anyway, I'd make more stops here just for these drinks alone now that i know how good they are. Staff was amazing. Friendly. Attentive. Restaurant still very aesthetic. Their plating of the meals? A+. It was a very good dinner.
