As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted seated right away with menus in hand. The young lady took our drink orders & brought them out within minutes. All questions answered. This was our second time here and both of us were craving the Monte Cristo sandwich (was so delicious last time). Cook was waiting for eggs, now change of plans. To start out we got an order Warm Pretzels with Beer cheese, yum - try them out!Friend got the Chicken & Fries, order had 4 nice sized pieces of chicken & tasty fries. My order was the BLT, served on a nice soft bread, lots of bacon, couple slices of tomatoes & lettuce with the fries. All very good, great service & a fun place to checkout! Eat & support local!

Just one of many fun times at Grogg's!!

We ride the bike trail a lot, and no ride is complete without a stop at Grogg's. Some rides we even hit Grogg's twice, once at the start and then again at the end of the ride. We always get great service (I especially love days when we catch Josiah behind the bar.) My husband always goes for a cocktail, but I think Grogg's has some of the coldest taps in town, so I go for a beer. And their food is great! After a long ride and a lot of day drinking, the clucks and fries are exactly what you want to eat!!! We've rolled in just the two of us, my husband and I, or we've come in with a group as big as 25, and no matter what, we're always greeted with fast and friendly service. And the vibe is total neighborhood bar. I can't think of a single time I've been at Grogg's and didn't pick up a few new friends.

    Happy hour

A great friendly neighborhood place... they seem to all know each other, it's my first time here!

BLT with mushrooms instead of bacon & side salad with italian.

Stopped by here with some friends in the evening. Very fun, welcoming, laid back, chill, casual atmosphere. I enjoyed a BLT with mushrooms instead of bacon & also a side salad with Italian- good portion sizes. I also devoured some of their fries, fresh & crisp on the outside, hot on the inside. I ordered a soda, and our server, Amy, was very attentive with multiple refills, napkins, bbq sauce- whatever we needed. In addition to the beer and Margaritas that were enjoyed at our table, the food as a whole was quite tasty. Surprisingly lovely presentation of meals, food items, etc. Everything came out hot and fresh. We will be going back there again.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for the first time. It looks like an average bar with decent inside and outside seating. The staff was ok not rude or overly friendly. Our waitress was attentive until it got busy. There was a guy helping her but he kept walking by our table ignoring us or so it seemed. We went a good 30 minutes without a drink. This is why I gave them 3 stars. We started off with drinks. The drinks were decent. I didn't order anything complicated just a Jack and Sprite. The appetizers are pretty good. I had chicken strips with fries and pretzels with cheese. The food came out hot and flavorful . I liked the music that was playing and the option to put the app on your phone to select the music you want to hear. I would definitely come back one more time and hopefully the service is better.

After Zumba six of us wanted to go have something to eat, so we decided to try this restaurant. None of us have been here before. We were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress/bartender, Amy was so attentive, nice, and gave details about the menu. We will definitely be back.

Amy the waitress/bartender was very friendly and helpful. A couple of people in our group were vegetarians and she was very accommodating. The fish and chips were delicious and the mushroom hamburger was good. The fries with ketchup were super tasty!

Something about the taste was off and I couldn't get into it, which was disappointing because I had heard good things about it. I ended up switching my order to the chicken and waffles, and that completely saved the meal. It was so good. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I got the spicy syrup on the side along with regular syrup, which was the perfect move. I also tried their garlic truffle fries and those were amazing, easily some of the best fries I've had. Their ranch is really good too, which made it even better. Shoutout to the hostess for being so kind and helpful when I asked to switch dishes. They didn't charge me for the pasta, which I really appreciated. I was definitely sad about the lobster pasta because I was excited for it, but overall I still had a really good experience. Of course I did the classic thing and remembered to take a picture of my food after it was already halfway gone I ordered the stacked turkey club, and my cousin had the lobster garlic noodles. Both were delicious and hit the spot. Service was fast, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and we didn't feel rushed at all. No complaints from me -- I'll absolutely be back.

You will not be sorry! I lost count, but I think they offer 150 types of whiskeys. This includes bourbons, Scotch, and even a few bottles from India! We asked our server to get us something truly unique from their massive menu. She poured us a whisky from Japan, we sipped it and was delicious. Turns out is Blanton's whiskey, which is actually from Kentucky, but they do a special bottle blend from Japanese, who knew?! The sushi is good, but nothing truly mind blowing. I ordered the Fahrenheit 101 sushi roll with thai chili, spicy tuna, salmon and cucumber on the inside and topped with seared escolar, tobiko, spicy aioli, wasabi aioli and jalapeños slices. A great spice flavor, but not much more than that. The appetizer, "monkey balls" were very good and a table favorite! These are basically stuffed mushrooms with cream cheese, scallops, crab mix and spicy tuna. Beyond sushi, they also offer bento boxes, ramen, and udon. Even though this place opened in 2017, it still feels like a true hidden gem in the Fresno area! If you love whiskey and japanese inspired eats... this is your place!

Before I came here, I was told that the chicken fingers are, "a must order" so I got them along with two orders of bone-in wings. One tossed in BBQ sauce and the other tossed in a sweet thai chili sauce. The bone-in wings come six to an order and is a mix of flats and drum sticks. These were tasty, had a good amount of meat on the bone and sauced nicely. The chicken fingers here are trying to do too much; stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon, coated in breadcrumbs, and then deep fried. Sounds great in theory, but the chicken gets lost in all of the extra strong flavors and all you really taste is cheese and a tiny bit of bacon. Also, be careful biting into them while still hot. The grease can shoot out of the back of the finger and spray your hand. This happened to me, but luckily the grease wasn't too hot and didn't burn my hand. The staff here is awesome and the drinks were delish. Minus my chicken finger issue, I liked this small "kind of" sports dive bar. I'll be back!

So yeah, that long. I'm on vacation this week and didn't want it to be a stay-cation. In fact, I was hoping to get away for at least an overnight trip. I was thinking, Santa Cruz, Tahoe, Lots Angeles even. I shoot my ideas over to my wife and she says, I was thinking Dave and Busters. Clearly we were on different pages. But I understand where she is coming from, and as you can see, her idea won out. We don't tell the kids where we are going. They just know we are going somewhere for lunch and that it's a surprise. We pull up and my youngest says, I've always wanted to come here! We drive past it every week on the way to gynastics so I shouldn't have been surprised. The older kids barely remember going to D&B as kids, so it's a treat for them too. We walk in and we get the biggest gift ever by a guy with his boys walking out. We come to find out that there is a 30 second freeze on the card in between uses, but we learn to adjust. But I'm getting ahead of myself. We order our food, ensuring that we order from the menu where we can get a game card. Best bang for our buck. I got the crispy chicken sandwich with Buffalo sauce. Three of my kids got cheese burgers and my wife got the wings. Everyone enjoyed their food. What my son and I really wanted was the Buffalo chicken sandwich that comes with blue cheese, but it didn't come with a game card. In addition to the free all-day card we received, we ended up with 4-$10 gaming cards, but those go quick! Like, 15-20 min. Mostly by my daughter playing games that earn tickets. My oldest is more interested in skill games. There's one in the middle where you step on lights on the ground or touch them on the wall. We did that one as a family. Lots of fun. We spent about 2 hours there. I'm sure the boys would have stayed longer if they could but my daughter was winding down. Before we leave, we pass the all-day card to another family. Let them benefit from it too
