Went tonight for dinner. Casa Corona was extremely busy when we got there. We got there Friday night at 6 PM. The wait time wasn't really that long, only about 15 minutes. The parking lot is horrible, we had to circle the parking lot twice almost a third time to find a spot all the way at the other end of the parking lot next to Starbucks. Apparently, there were a lot of people that have the same idea this Friday night. Once we got into the restaurant, the staff was really friendly. Our waiter was so wonderful. He was very attentive, very informative about the menu and checked back with us frequently. The food we ordered was excellent. I ordered the two soft taco combo with a side of guacamole and a Pepsi, my friend ordered an enchilada plate. The food came out hot fresh and fast, and it was very tasteful. The restaurant was very clean. Even though the restaurant was packed, and there were people coming and going, in and out The tables were cleared timely before anyone else sit down. All in all we had a great experience, and will definitely visit again.

Swiftaritto

The service was so great. Very friendly and attentive! We came for a birthday dinner and everything was delicious! My dad got steak fajitas, my mom got something served in a bowl, my sister got garlic shrimp and I got the Swiftaritto. The meat was so tender and juicy and the verde sauce packed in a lot of flavor! My sister got a virgin margarita and let me have a few sips and the bright pop of lime was such a treat! The ambience was nice, it's decorated well and not gaudy, the whole restaurant was so clean it was gleaming and we all had a very pleasant time!

The food was good, enchilada sauce on top was on point! Salsa and chips were good as well, chips were homemade and crispy. The waiter was nice and kept on our drinks... it wasn't loud, but was a full restaurant. I would come back

Chimichanga with rice and beans

Customer service is great as soon as you step through the doors and the wait time is always minimal. The portion sizes are great for the price and the food is delicious. The meat is always tender and everything is always seasoned well. When you're seated, they give you complimentary chips and salsa, that are also refillable. Throughout your meal, the waiter/waitress periodically checks on you to make sure you're still doing well. Conversing with your lunch/dinner guest isn't difficult either as the volume in there isn't relatively loud. The Mexican decor throughout the restaurant is beautiful and vibrant. Casa Corona never disappoints!

We hadn't been here in years and couldn't remember why, so we tried it again. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice. We ordered a variety of things. The nachos were good, but that's about it. All the meats we tried had no character and little to no flavor. Prices were fair, except for the chile relleno dinner, which included one chile relleno and rice and beans for $16.50. The plate itself was tiny, which should be a cue to the restaurant to include two chile rellenos for the price. We remember we we stopped going. It's really mediocre food.

Chicken Pozole

Pozole was great! It was probably the best bowl I've had. The chicken was grill to perfection and ingredients were nicely measured and super delicious! We were attended by the manager and he very detail oriented, patient, and very helpful in us having an enjoyable meal. Great vibe here. We were greeted well by the host and kept informed regarding our approximate seating. Incredible food and incredible people. Don't miss a meal here.

My partner and I went to have dinner here yesterday. The service was fine they were nice however, the food was not to par. I got enchiladas with rice my partner got an enchilada with a quesadilla, rice and beans. We also got the nacho fries as an appetizer. All the food was soaked the fries were soggy from the chile verde but it wasn't like thick sauce it was watery and had no flavor. Same as my enchiladas they were soggy the plate could be drained. The chicken was so mushy and had no flavor at all as well. I can't believe I paid $74 for a meal I didn't eat nor enjoy. I know they didn't intentionally ruin my food but it should not have made it past the cook line. I honestly should have got a refund we didn't eat the food we just got the bill and left. The horchata was amazing though.

Machaca breakfast burrito for the win!…read more I've been to Miguel's many times and I love literally everything on the menu and could drink their homemade salsas. With all my visits, I have never tried one of their breakfast burritos. I ordered a Machaca breakfast burrito and this baddie was huge. Fully loaded with eggs, cheese, and tons of machaca. Machaca is fried shredded beef mixed with onions and peppers and one of my favorite mexican breakfast dishes. Pair this burrito with their Taco Truck verde salsa or their Sunset Salsa, a medium salsa, and you'll be in beefy heaven. Order via DoorDash for pick up and it was ready at the exact time it was stated!

We went about 6 PM so not sure if going to a different time would've made a difference. The service was pretty good. There was only two people working. The gal that helped us didn't know how to add my points to their point system and had some issues with the register, she was OK. My wife has the chicken tacos I had the asada. We both left Mexican food, and we both feel that we are very fair when it comes to the food value and the taste. As far as the taste, the meat tacos were a little rough and gum like, probably from sitting out too long. The chicken tacos actually fell apart as my wife was eating them, and the chicken was very, very overcooked so again, probably sitting too long inside the burner. They do not have the right ABC license so you can't drink alcohol and eat hair even though you're sitting inside a liquor store. Overall an okay place, there's so many selections of Mexican food in Clovis, this one was so so.

Enchiladas Michoacanas! That's all I need stepping into…read morethis restaurant. My sister introduced me to this place, and I'm actually waiting on her to come back to visit so that we can take another trip back together (it's been a minute)! It's got diner vibes to me. Booths, seats at the front counter facing the kitchen, and a few more tables in the center. It's not the most aesthetic restaurant but... it's on the corner of Blackstone & Dakota-- lol I didn't expect it to be. Friendly staff. Great chefs. Service is always good/quick. We've never waited long to have our orders taken or to receive our food. Now... those enchiladas! They're the closest thing to the type of enchiladas my best friend's mama makes (she's from Michoacan)-- she makes the best, most authentic Mexican food! SO, when I can't get them from her... I know where to go. They are cheese enchiladas-- served with lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and sour cream.. sprinkled with cotija cheese. They also come with some bomb potatoes and your choice of chicken or steak-- we always go steak. Sooo good and the flavors are always on point! + They give complimentary chips and salsa-- very good. We use that same salsa for the enchis. Pair it with a crisp coke, chef's kiss! If it wasn't obvious, it's a yes from me. This little hole-in-the-wall family-run business needs more recognition!
