Cool place to grab a draft beer, chill at a table, play games, or shop for merch. They have a great selection of beer, the bar tender was friendly and gave us a few samples with suggestions and we decided on the hefeweizen draft which is lighter and delicious. We didnt stay long but lounged on a comfy padded low style bench with a table, shared a beer after shopping and went on our way.

Date night on a Friday night and we manage to grab a high top table as it's a first come first serve bases after ordering at the counter for your drinks. Lots of variety of beer on tap. No liquor. We ordered the Big Sur double IPA & Hazy IPA and can't go wrong with IPAs. The ambiance and vibe is just awesome and chill with some shuffleboard game available to play with friends too. We sat in front of the live music I guess happens on the fri & weekends assuming? Not bad & they're funny too. BH doesn't serve food but like free nuts to snack with your drinks BUT...... on the table there's a QR code to order for delivery from Yardhouse?!? WHAT! How awesome bc 1. We don't have to wait over there to grab food! 2. We were alrdy craving to grab food there! & how awesome is it to get it deliver to you right at the table?! Win! It was fairly easy to navigate via the QR code and the BH employees can help you too which is awesome. Can't complain with good food & drinks for the perfect parent night out! Will be back!

We decided to eat at Barrel House since there was a character meet and greet that night at River Park and it was close by. Note that Barrel House does not actually serve food; they simply encourage bringing food from a nearby restaurant and enjoying it here withe their beer. I would say the ambiance is so/so; Riverpark is definitely a family friendly shopping area, but Barrel House could do more to appeal to families (such has having more games for kids, more kid-friendly seating and tables, etc). My server was fairly lackluster and really didn't seem like he wanted to be working that day: he did not want to answer questions about the beer (I can't have dairy and had questions about added lactose, he simply said "I really don't know" when I asked which beers have lactose in them", which is bad customer service), and he took forever to pour my beer, disappearing for a long time after I ordered. The beer itself was also just ok, there are definitely better breweries in Fresno. All in all, this is an ok place to have a beer if you are already at Riverpark, but I would not make a special trip here.

Sooo good for drinks and a nice and chill night. The beers we got were absolutely so good especially with the ambience. The service was Great and they were all very patient especially because my friends and I are very new to drinking beers so they would give suggestions and were always so sweet. I def would recommend for a night out or just to get some drinks after work.

Came to listen to live music by the Restless Collective! Barrelhouse Brewing is such an open space, you can hear the music no matter where you sit, even if you can't find a spot nearby the stage. Thank you to the bartender for letting us have that last encore song :) For a beverage, I got the seasonal Holly Daze Cranberry Spiced Sour. There was a very quick wait, and I got my drink pretty fast. It was definitely an interesting flavor combo- I was expecting a taste similar to spiced wine but the sour came through much more than the spice. It also comes with a cinnamon stick.

Barrelhouse has been a tradition in our family for over 5 years discovering it in Paso Robles before it opened in Fresno. Fresno turned into one of our favorite destinations for beer with Riley at Barrelhouse. I don't like all beers and she has been great helping us discover new beers we may like. Riley always makes our visits great as she always greets you with a smile and ready to ensure you have the best Barrelhouse experience possible. If you're in the mood stop in for beer and look for Riley!

Came to this spot on a "mini honeymoon" on our way back to SoCal. As our first stop we were immensely disappointed. Not only was their website beyond not having up to date (I really wanted to try their DP beer & my husband wanted the N.A. Pale ale); The beertender was beyond rude and seemed to have minimal customer service skills. We had been there first (literally waited for her to open the door at 2pm) and she assisted two other couples who quite possibly may have been her regulars. I get it. It's a guaranteed tip from someone you know. We got a flight - with minimal help and recommendations from the beertender, the beer is where the stars come from for my review. The passion fruit hazy was SUPER good ! Wow !! I think I may have gotten the bottom of the keg for the strawberry blonde as it tasted a little more "fermented" than a blonde traditionally would; but it was still good. The key lager was AMAZING. A traditional lager infused with lime. The lime was present but not overpowering. Apple pie sour - just skip. Horrible. 10/10 do not recommend but it was intriguing for sure. We were on our way out the door and my husband wanted a sticker and we went over to check them out. The same girl quickly came over to us and said " I can't sell merch" We ended up leaving. I just took the coasters for our scrapbook. Overall the beer was great but likely will not be back.

Nothing beats an ice cold beer on a super hot day. I got the Mango IPA 16 ounces for $8. There are so many options to choose from and they taste wonderful!

Excellent spot to grab some good crafts while visiting Fresna. This place is similar to Bottlecraft and hope more of these open up. There is also beer on draft but didn't get to try any. Maybe next time.

Been here once before. Bartender was chill letting us do some sampling before deciding.

The best thing about BarrelHouse in my opinion is the location. Located at River Park, this brewery is the perfect place to visit before or after dinner, shopping, or a movie. The location makes it super accessible and convenient. The inside is spacious, with ample seating inside and outside by the patio. On some days there's live music played at night time. Service is straightforward. I've had times where staff members were friendly and other times where they weren't. The beer itself is good, some better, but haven't tried anything amazing. There's plenty of options so I will continue to try until I find my go to beer. They also have free pretzels which I appreciate since I like to snack on something while I drink my beer.

Quick drink after lunch. My go to is always the Cold Brew (only out in winter unfortunately). My niece had "Merry Christmas" a candy cane stout. Not bad. Not are very much seasonal

I finally got a chance to check this place out. I was surprised at how big it is inside. It was nice and clean as well. The beer was pretty good . They have a pretty good selection of beer. The only complaint i have is the person pouring was a bit rude. He was not too friendly or helpful and this is why i gave them three stars.

Rude and unprofessional staff. Compared to Barrelhouse's other locations, terrible atmosphere. Go somewhere else for a nearly $10 beer.

Something about the taste was off and I couldn't get into it, which was disappointing because I had heard good things about it. I ended up switching my order to the chicken and waffles, and that completely saved the meal. It was so good. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I got the spicy syrup on the side along with regular syrup, which was the perfect move. I also tried their garlic truffle fries and those were amazing, easily some of the best fries I've had. Their ranch is really good too, which made it even better. Shoutout to the hostess for being so kind and helpful when I asked to switch dishes. They didn't charge me for the pasta, which I really appreciated. I was definitely sad about the lobster pasta because I was excited for it, but overall I still had a really good experience. I'd come back again and just try something different next time.

My cousin ordered the watermelon margarita with a sugar rim and it was just as good. For appetizers, the cheese curds are a MUST. They came out super fresh, hot, and perfectly crispy. The parm fries are another can't-skip item, especially if you're into truffle and garlic. Definitely the move to start your meal. Of course I did the classic thing and remembered to take a picture of my food after it was already halfway gone I ordered the stacked turkey club, and my cousin had the lobster garlic noodles. Both were delicious and hit the spot. Service was fast, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and we didn't feel rushed at all. No complaints from me -- I'll absolutely be back.

This is just a beer bar, so beers and seltzers only. I went with the Crow and Wolf Ocean Blast seltzer; a blue coconut, mango, pineapple, and lime beverage. Insanely good and refreshing on a hot afternoon. My wife went a peach seltzer that was just as tasty. We sat in the backyard area, that offers plenty of seating, a few TVs, and a ordering window so you don't need to head to the inside bar to order more drinks. The out area has smoking and non-smoking sections and is dog friendly, but they must be leashed. For food, we went the tri-tip BBQ pizza and a soft pretzel. The pizza was delicious and the perfect size for two people. Huge chunks of tri-tip, spicy BBQ sauce, and very cheesy. I asked for jalapenos on the side for an extra kick of heat. Right now is the perfect time to hit up this place since the weather has been so beautiful. Make sure to check their Instagram page for live music and keep supporting local!

They only serve beer, wine, and mead, but hard liquor folks do not worry... mead is essentially the hard liquor of the beer world, but tastes way better and at 20%, you'll drink way less! Their taps offer local beers and an array of imports from all over the world. I also learned that they are one of two bars in the entire Fresno/Clovis area that actually serves Guinness on tap! During my visit, the bartender suggested a something unique; a mixture of two different beers. I cannot remember their names for the life of me, but one was a peanut butter scout mixed with a purple-ish beer from house of Pendragon. All that to say, it tasted like a peanut butter and jelly and was delicious! Gracie, my bartender, was super friendly and very informed all the beers and wines they serve here. Who doesn't love a friendly and info field bartender?! If you haven't been here in a long time or are looking for a new place where you can belly up to the bar, the Bog House pub is it, cheers!

The al pastor burrito was a little underwhelming, lots of beans but very little meat. Just tasted like a bean burrito because that's how much beans were in there. My kids liked their meal, but I think there's a little too much seasoning inside the beef taco. The fries were amazing, loved them. Service can be better, the gentleman was a little bit all over the place and forgot a few items in the beginning like giving us utensils to eat when food has already arrived, and also forgetting to give a sauce we requested. My husband called to ask if they were open, and the employee said yes and told us to enter through the side door. A few minutes later, they opened the front door for the public. The food was just okay, nothing special. I didn't care for the salsa, it was too thick and the chips were very hard but crispy. My husband said he wouldn't order the chilaquiles again. They tasted like chips covered in canned enchilada sauce. My chorizo burrito was filling but tasted more like a bean burrito than chorizo. Overall, this wouldn't be a go-to spot for us, and we wouldn't return. It was disappointing, especially for a place with such high foot traffic in the area.
