I was in town to support my daughter at the CIF State Championships and wanted to try a local brewery on Friday night, 11/29/2019. We walked in and found friendly service from Roger, the owner, who was working behind the bar and took his time telling us about his various brews. Pine & Palm is on the smaller side, but they have some great beers and the varieties are plentiful, with a focus on IPAs. The inside has two tables, bar seating with extra seating against the wall. There is a chained off section in the parking lot with picnic tables and a few tables to sit at inside the warehouse, which we didn't do on this cold night. They also have televisions for sports viewing. P&P is family friendly and pet friendly. They have Cornhole outside to play and if you look at the barrels outside they have a Pine tree planted in one and a Palm tree in the other. The name "Pine & Palm" and the logo comes from the Pine and Palm tree located in the middle of Highway 99 just south of Avenue 12 outside of Madera that marks the North and South point of California "look it up". You can also purchase any beer on tap to be canned right in front of you to take home, and if you buy three you get a free beer of your choice while you wait. On the weekends usually every Friday and during special events they have some food truck or local business serving food to customers. I really enjoy the juicy/hazy IPA'S they serve and your welcome to taste any beer on tap before you buy. I would definitely recommend if your into craft beer. read more

Updating my review since they've moved to a new location. The beer is still outstanding and in fact, the NE IPA was the best I've had. The new location is really going to serve them well. MUCH bigger with plenty of seating now. Several picnic tables, high tables, a few pub tables, and a nice long bar. Two big TV's. They also chained off a large section out front so you can hang with your dog or whatever. Perfect upgrade, and I can't wait to see how the new space matures, and what beers they come up with next! Great smaller brewery in a warehouse area sorta behind the Sam's Club off Nees and Blackstone. Usually open from 5pm to 10pm it seems, but I have rolled up at 1/4 till 5 and they we ready to serve. The have draft, growler & crowlers here. Love the crowlers!! They also have t's and other swag. All the beers I have tried, have been tasty...from IPA to Porters. Great little brewery in North Fresno! Don't get turned off by the industrial feel of the surrounding area (when you are arriving for the first time you might think you made a wrong turn because it is actually in an industrial business park). This is a cozy neighborhood brew pub tucked away off of the busy Ingram/Herndon area. It's a small space but there are actually a lot of places to sit, inside and out. I watched a Fresno FC soccer game there recently with a group of about 10 or so people and it was a great experience. Friendly staff, clean bathroom! and very chill & positive vibes. Great brewery! Worth the trip and the struggle to find it. The beer is better than the typical "craft brew spot". The bar it tight and small and they don't typically sell kegs, but those would by my only complaints. They typically have a food truck or taco guy out front serving food. I travel across the U.S. for work which allows me to try more breweries than the average craft brew fan, but hands down Pine and Palm has my respect for their beers. Probably one of the best discothèques in Fresno. Wednesday night the owner walks around with some shamrock pasties and serves free haggis sliders and blood sausage pudding. I've tried to tell him it's a confusing theme, but then he just tells me to kiss his blarney stones and keeps it going. Friday nights they used to have an Alien themed deathmatch around the beer tanks, complete with a fog machine, flickering lights, acidic blood and a questionable android, but after someone drowned in one of the beer tanks it was canceled. Upside was it did make a great beer, Mourning Melba (RIP Melba). Saturdays they were going to do goat yoga, but because of budget concerns it turned into horny goat weed supplement yoga with way more interesting results. The walk-in refrigerator also doubles as an escape room where you have an hour to survive as you escape your wife/kids/responsibilities without freezing to death. $20 a person. In all seriousness this place is great. Good people, good beers and a good atmosphere all nestled into a real low-key area. read more

It is well worth it to come by and try some of the best beer in Fresno. Favorite beer on tap has to be the sixty ninety. It is a light tasting DIPA with 8.5% A.B.V. Stopped by for the first time and tried a sampler flight with Berliner Sour, Blonde, two IPA's, a Porter, and a Stout. My girlfriend was impressed with the Sour and the Porter. I liked the Hazy IPA and the Blonde. It a small space, but they have tables outside and it's nice later in the evening once it cools off. Definitely will be back. read more
