Ambiance: It is one of the prettier places in Fresno County. Would be great for an intimate gathering of 50ish people or you can book a date night. Barn was closed so I don't know how it looks inside, but outside was rustic and gorgeous. Great photo opps. The grass area where the party was held, was pretty, vineyard was gorgeous. I felt like I was in Paso Robles because when you look up, there are no buildings or city in sight. If you are looking for a place for an intimate wedding or for a rustic party, this place is it. They close down the winery for private parties, but you can also book a local date night here when they are open. Service: The owner and his wife seemed nice. I asked the owner for a business card in the event I wanted to have an event there. Wine- Some of the better wines I've had around Fresno and Madera. I'm a cabernet sauvignon girl and loved their cab. It had a good tart and mild sweetness to it. When I say sweet, I do not mean like a moscato which is a dessert wine. Also, this cab did not give me a migraine which is a plus. I also had one of their whites called unwind. It was refreshing for the summer and again had a good tart to it. Food: I don't believe my friends ordered food from them. They were able to get an outside caterer and were allowed to bring their own drinks in a cooler. I actually would love to return for my 40th or 10 year anniversary. Thanks for having us, Steve & Vicki!

If you're anywhere near Clovis/Fresno and enjoy the winery tasting experience, you should put 3 Oaks on your to-do list. It's not only a lovely setting but you'll get great interactions with your hosts while enjoying fine 100% locally sourced wine from a boutique conscientious vintner, all very (very) reasonably priced. You'll likely pick up many bottles, as did everyone who visited. Always service with a knowledgeable smile. Nice gift shop, too.

We had an amazing evening here tonight. Steve and Vikki go above and beyond to make the experience special. The grounds are beautiful and the wine is delicious. Thank you for an amazing evening!

Owners are very friendly and environment is very cute. Wine is very good and locally grown on the property.

I attended a charcuterie making class at 3 Oaks last night. I had no idea Clovis had such a cute little winery/event venue. It was very hot and we were under several big trees with portable swamp coolers blowing on us. It was very pleasant despite being 100 degrees outside. The wine was great. They grow numerous varieties of grapes onsite. I bought 2 bottles of rose!

Had a great tasting experience two Saturdays ago. This is a small and 100% local winery-all the grapes are grown on the property or very near by. The wine maker took time to explain each wine and the meanings behind each wine's name. One of the wines was paired with little chocolate cookies which brought out that wine's flavor even more. The tasting is outside on tables underneath trees and there are chickens and a rooster walking around-so cute! Very nice experience overall.

Stopped by for a birthday tasting. The owners are so nice and accommodating. Our party bus was late and they were still able to fit us in. The ambiance is wonderful! Small backyard setting. A/C Units outside to help keep you cool. Hopefully they add some snacks to the menu soon. My friends and I will be back!

I have been to 3 Oaks on two different occasions now and have nothing bad to say about this winery! The owners, Steve and Vicki, are nothing but nice, attentive, and accommodating. This place is a hidden gem in Clovis and a must go for anyone who lives in the area or is just visiting. They even have a little gift shop with many homemade items. If you're looking for great wine, beautiful scenery, and wonderful service, go to 3 Oaks!!!

We walked in and all together there were about 15 already by opening at 1pm. It took awhile before we even got our drinks let alone our food. She did bring all of the tables water but the 2 groups before us had way better service and more attention. We did order food and it all came out separately, 2 of us ate without the 3rd because they forgot to make my mom's sandwich. We've been wanting to try this place for a while and thought we'd stop by since we went to the flower market event. I loved the sandwich, we all did actually. The wine options I chose were also delicious. I like the vibe and the ambiance the place has I just wish they had reservations for bigger groups like that to accommodate small tables and especially those whom never been there before. I will go back for sure to try other food items and wine options as well, maybe just have to pick a different day to go.

E & J Gallo Winery - Gallo Vineyard Compost prices.

I heard that Gallo Winery had sold various yard materials to the public and thought I would get…read moresome for my over-seeding. I tried to find information on the internet where and how to buy the materials. I found very little information and the information I found was here on Yelp. But, it was not the information I was looking for. Still at a loss on where to go or speak to.. I just drove out that way with my truck hoping to get lucky! I came across a big open lot that appeared to intercept the harvest trucks with a little building that had a sign in front (south side of Olive Ave just East of Clovis Ave). The sign was not very informative either by the way!!! So, I walked up to the building and there was a lady there behind a glass and asked if I needed help. I explained why I was there and she pointed out the different materials they had for sale. I explained I needed compost for over-seeding and she recommended the 50/50 mix of soil and compost. I bought a half of yard of 50/50 mix of soil and compost for only 15 dollars. Still not knowing where to go to get the material, I had to ask her where to go for the material because there was no signs. She pointed that I had to travel farther east on Olive Ave and take the second left. She stated a man would be there to help and load me. As I followed her instructions, there was no man to be seen. I drove pretty far to the back of the lot looking for this said, "man!" Eventually I just drove to the farthest part of this lot where I saw piles of materials and workers near by on equipment. Eventually someone waved me over and viewed my receipt. He then pointed me to the area he wanted me and he came over with a front loader. The pile of 50/50 mix he had was very small. But, it was enough for my load. As he scraped it up and loaded it into my truck, I saw small pebbles in the material. I think the pebbles came from him scraping the material from the ground. When I got home, I saw a few pieces of debris. It looked like a piece of a tie that's used for bread bags and few little pieces of torn paper. The material that was loaded in my truck didn't compare to the sample bags the girl had at the window when I purchased the mix. The half yard of 50/50 mix of compost and soil equaled to about 4 full wheelbarrows worth. Wished it would had been a bit more.. but worth the money. It would had cost me way more from a box store than it did getting the material at Gallo Winery. The little pebbles that was in the material migrated to the bottom of my wheelbarrow and was easily separated. As for the other debris, I just simply picked it out by hand and threw it away. I suggest to bring a tarp and a few pieces of heavy lumber to put over the top of the lighter weight material so it does not cause a hazard to other drivers when driving to your project location.

Reference Case ID: #1901617…read more Three months ago I found this foreign object in my bottle of in my bottle of Gallo wine. I immediately wrote to Gallo Hdqts. and Consumer Services Representative, Macenzie M. cordially responded, she dismissed the disgusting experience as just a "cork". Though I strongly disagreed. A cork would not shrivel up like this. And it's obvious, it was a mushroom. But she believed a sorry, and send $5 to compensate me. I requested the lab results, but that request was ignored. My warning to all, where there is one mushroom, there are more. Which means their processing is questionable. Be sure to look in your glass before taking a drink. Trust me, it was a horrible experience taking a drink and having this land in my mouth.
