I recently went to Three Oaks Vineyard for one of their yoga events, and it was such a cute and different experience! A friend invited me. I had never even heard of this place until she got us tickets. When we got there, I was surprised at how spacious it felt for a smaller spot in Clovis. Parking is a little limited, but not too bad. When you check in for yoga, they give you a glass of wine (love that), and then you go find a spot in their cute outdoor yard. The whole vibe is very relaxed and homey. Just a heads up though... this is a working farm, so there are chickens roaming around and two kittens walking around as well (and one is very friendly). Something to keep in mind depending on your comfort level. The yoga class was about an hour and it was really nice being outside in the fresh air. Super peaceful. After yoga, they had appetizers and wine tasting. The appetizers are limited, so once they're gone, they're gone. There was this chicken appetizer that was SO good, but it ran out really fast. They also opened a few different wines for tasting, and their wine is really good! After everything, you can hang out, have some wine, and enjoy the space. The owner mentioned they also host bridal showers and baby showers, which makes sense because it's such a cute, intimate spot. Overall, it's a really nice local spot if you're looking for something in town and don't want to drive all the way out to Paso Robles. Definitely worth checking out! read more

A fun, chill spot to share a bottle of wine with friends or family My first experience here was great! I went for a tasting with my mom and sister and we loved it. We really enjoyed each of the wines but definitely had some favorites we'll be back for. The owners were very personable and friendly. They were so kind to tell us their story and a little bit about how they go about running their winery on the property. Highly recommend purchasing a fresh loaf of bread when booking your reservation, a perfect little snack for the occasion. The property is very pretty. Ambiance: It is one of the prettier places in Fresno County. Would be great for an intimate gathering of 50ish people or you can book a date night. Barn was closed so I don't know how it looks inside, but outside was rustic and gorgeous. Great photo opps. The grass area where the party was held, was pretty, vineyard was gorgeous. I felt like I was in Paso Robles because when you look up, there are no buildings or city in sight. If you are looking for a place for an intimate wedding or for a rustic party, this place is it. They close down the winery for private parties, but you can also book a local date night here when they are open. Service: The owner and his wife seemed nice. I asked the owner for a business card in the event I wanted to have an event there. Wine- Some of the better wines I've had around Fresno and Madera. I'm a cabernet sauvignon girl and loved their cab. It had a good tart and mild sweetness to it. When I say sweet, I do not mean like a moscato which is a dessert wine. Also, this cab did not give me a migraine which is a plus. I also had one of their whites called unwind. It was refreshing for the summer and again had a good tart to it. Food: I don't believe my friends ordered food from them. They were able to get an outside caterer and were allowed to bring their own drinks in a cooler. My family and I had a fantastic time wine tasting at 3 oaks! Every wine we tried was delicious. Our tasting was lead by the vintner himself, who was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Don't miss out on their bread boards if you can get them- the sourdough focaccia was incredible! It really feels like your way out of the city, and the space was peaceful getting to sit underneath the shady trees. They were very welcoming to our dog and even brought out a bowl of water for her too. Steve and Vicki really go above and beyond to make your experience special. I attended a charcuterie making class at 3 Oaks last night. I had no idea Clovis had such a cute little winery/event venue. It was very hot and we were under several big trees with portable swamp coolers blowing on us. It was very pleasant despite being 100 degrees outside. The wine was great. Had a great tasting experience two Saturdays ago. This is a small and 100% local winery-all the grapes are grown on the property or very near by. The wine maker took time to explain each wine and the meanings behind each wine's name. One of the wines was paired with little chocolate cookies which brought out that wine's flavor even more. The tasting is outside on tables underneath trees and there are chickens and a rooster walking around-so cute! Very nice experience overall. read more

Appointment only winery just off the Clovis trailhead at Sunnyside and Shepherd (on Sunnyside). We were blessed to have an opportunity to visit this personal and small batch winery. We were on a walk and there wine tasting flag was up. The owners were personable and friendly, and shared their story. My girlfriend and I stumbled upon 3 Oaks late in the evening and we were accommodated instantly. the owners have a great selection of wines with a great story that goes along with each. Truly a very family owned business feel where you can escape from the busy day-to-day. They accept credit/debit card, but I would highly consider bringing some cash for the tip. I gave them both fair warning how poorly I treated and yet they were shocked to be treated the same way even after paying MORE than $4,000 just to have their wedding there. Its still a gorgeous site. My husband and I stopped by for a midday wine tasting and was told by the owner that he doesn't open for a few more months. Waiting on County approval but has lots of wine to spare. He was very knowledgeable about his wines and educated us a bit on how to properly enjoy our wine. Loved talking with him and enjoying his small town, neighborly, good-natured personality. We had our wedding here in May 2012. Viki and her husband were FANTASTIC. They went above and beyond in every way. There was a nice place for the girls to get ready, the price was reasonable, and they were more than willing to make last minute changes. I decided 2 days before the wedding that I wanted a dance floor, and they made it happen! Additionally, I love that there is only one wedding per weekend. So we were able to do rehearsal on Friday and send as much time as we needed them on Saturday.
