We came here to try the pantalones reposado by Matthew McConaughey. And we seen they had a huge sale event on select items. I didn't get any of them but man it was a good sale IMO. It's still going on right now. The employee that helped us was nice and informative and he told us that they rotate the selection every week. When I went in they had Jameson, absolute vodka, Malibu and skrewball just to name a few. I don't drink those by itself but it would've been nice to have them to do mix drinks. So it's BUY ONE GET ONE FOR 5 CENTS!! You're obviously gonna pay for the more expensive item and the second one will be 5 cents. They even have some wine selections too. If you sign up for club bev u can also collect points. This store also has a good amount of snacks! They have a whole snack aisle! We didn't get anything from the sale event. Super busy! The workers are all nice and welcoming. Within two minutes of being in the store staff was checking up on me seeing if I needed help. Eventually I decided to get help from Nicholas. Super great guy, friendly, conversational, and overall seemed like a hard working guy. He was busy with something when I asked for his help and he dropped everything to get me a good deal. Really nice store. After the great Modernist Yelp Elite event where I had the best wine! S.L.H. Pinot Noir. Called to see if they had it and they did! Had them hold it and went to pick it up. The store was very clean and well taken care of. Had great music playing! The workers were really nice. Had the wine ready after telling the worker it was on hold. The bottle was brought up. Easy checkout. Had the wine with lunch and it was very, good! VERY! A PRETTY GREAT BUZZ! ONE GLASS IS ALL IT TOOK! =)~~~~~~~ Great store and great service! Highly recommended! read more

I was introduced into BevMo when I lived in SoCal as the Central Valley did not have one yet. I fell in love with this place because they have every alcoholic beverage you can think of from 20k wines to unique findings like Rumchata. They have everything you can possibly imagine. This BevMo is very organized, the staff is friendly and the prices are not bad. I want to try all the unique flavors of alcohol but I know that won't be possible in a life time! I ended up getting 3 bottles of wine, Stella Rose Black, Skinny Comso and Ruffino something. Definitely will be returning. It is fun to look and see the different wines and I like to buy bottles randomly. Come check it out! read more

New Clovis location is close to my house so I shop here more often. I read other reviews & see the disappointment with customer service but I have not shared that experience. I went in (in a hurry) one day and said I need 6 bottles of wine, 3 red, 3 white and want to find wine with buy one get one for 5 cents. Within 5 minutes I was up at the register checking out thanks to the help of BevMo employees. One day I went in and asked for help finding a particular beet. BevMo employee said, "follow me." She knew exactly where it was & also offered, "if you like that, you'll probably like this..." Didn't give 5 stars only because I think prices for wine bags & gifty items are a bit high. read more

Stopped by to purchase a few bottles of nice wine...i.e. behind a locked glass door. I had to wait in a line behind 5 people just to ask if someone could assist me by opening the cooler. I was told his "buddy" was on break and when he returned, he would come over and help me. After waiting an appropriate time, I returned to the check out line where the "buddy" was now checking people out and the original person was MIA. Again waiting in line to ask for help, a person in front of me asked if someone could assist them. He waved a hand at the store and replied, "I don't know, he's out there somewhere." At this , I gave up and went elsewhere. I realize times are tough with staff, etc. BUT...don't lock up merchandise that no one is available to open! Will order online from now on for sure. read more

Pros: good selection Cons: rude managers I try to avoid this chain whenever possible but sometimes when I'm in a bind I'll come in and get treated like a dirt bag because I'm buying cigars as gifts. Service is good until you ask for help....that's when all hell breaks loose. Prices aren't great but they have a good selection. They get these holiday gift sets with free cups and shakers in and they split them up so you won't find these bargain gift sets there. So I'm buying some cigars as a gift for my friend's birthday. I talked to the friendly cashier and he calls the manager to assist me with the locked cigar case. She was the most unfriendly person I've ever met. She approached me with a look that says I'm wasting her precious time and asked If I know what I want. After she grabbed the cigars for me she just hands them to the cashier and walks away. I asked if I can have an empty cigar box and they said no. I stopped at Cigars Limited on the way home and got treated like a real person. The guy gave me a quick tour of the place, asked if I had a certain preference and etc., then left me alone to play with whatever cigars I wanted. And he gave me a box. And the price was cheaper. I wouldn't have known just how bad the service was at BevMO if I didn't stop at Cigars Limited. read more

I am intensely annoyed with Bevmo, NOT the local store, but whatever part of Corporate manages their bad website. I wanted to order a bottle of good scotch to send to an elderly friend residing in an old folks home up in Los Gatos. The website keeps turning down my order with the message "address verification failed. Transaction not completed." I tried to call the "customer service" number this AM where a robovoice informed me that "due to the high volume of calls... bla bla bla" basically "screw off and use our Live chat." I attemped to do so and, so far 15 minutes later, I am still WAITING. I am a customer willing to buy an expensive bottle of scotch to send to a friend and I am unable to complete the transaction! BevMo the local store is okay, but the company itself, the schmucks running things really SUCK!! read more

I come to this Bevmo once in awhile for gifts, but because I live near Winco, I've found they have a pretty good craft beer selection as well. The prices are fair, but the selection is okay. The only thing was I was trying to look for craft beer for my husband for his birthday. I picked up the whiskey craft beer and apparently, it was either broken or opened because it spilled all over me. Luckily, the only place I had to go to was Jimmy John's because I smelled like I was drunk. I couldn't find another staff besides the girl at the register so by the time I got to the register, I forgot which beer it was. read more

Went to the Bevmo in Fresno to see if they had a certain wine, an employee checked the computer to see if the Clovis store carried it and told me they didn't. I called anyway to see if Clovis had it since I bought at the Clovis location a few months prior. The girl who answered had me repeat myself and spell out "SIP" moscato and she flat out told me after repeating myself three times that they didn't carry it. Knowing I had bought it before I went anyway to see what else they had, low and behold there was the wine I had asked for. I know how customer service works as I also work retail and I was disappointed I asked two Bevmo employees and they were wrong. read more

I went looking for a Christmas gift and had a hard time making a selection from the huge selection of products available. While I was browsing a store employee (sorry now that I didn't get his name) asked if I needed help finding anything. I asked him if he had any recommendations for vodkas. He asked two questions, "Flavored or not and what do they usually drink?" I told him and he gave me 3-4 different options that he would recommend each in a different price range. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the flavors and differences between each and didn't try to push any particular brand. After clearly helping more than any other alcohol sales store probably would, he apologized for not being able to help more with vodkas because it was not his drink of choice. This is a very large store with a good layout and a large wine selection. My only real problem with this location is that their beer selection Is on the small side. I love craft beer and always enjoy trying new beers and have great success in finding beer at bevmo but this location was lacking. If you like wine or hard alcohol this is a great location but if you are a beer person go to the river park location if has double the beer selection. Other then that the store was clean easy to maneuver and the staff were very nice. read more

First off, I like how the cashier asked for my identification to determine if I am at legal age. He did the same to my husband and I brought this point up because usually, we never been asked at the liquor stores which I think it is unsafe. This establishment felt like a grocery store but with beer, wine and liquor. The selection was unlimited and you can find anything that fits your taste. I had three items placed in my order and had used a $10 off $75 coupon for online checkout. When I picked it up there were only two items since they were out of stock on one item. Not a huge store but worth checking out. Some good recommendations from staff on beer. However, not a great selection of non alcoholic beers. Please keep Clausthaler (all varieties) in stock and consider getting more specialty non alcoholic beers (preferably ones that can match Clausthaler in taste). Worst customer service ever! Cheap ass vodkas are locked behind the glass display and they take forever to open the display. When they finally get around to opening the display not only will they not let you hand pick you your selection... when they do grab it for you they take it to the register and have it wait for you! So, if you're looking for mixtures to go with the glass case enclosed distress alcohol of choosing... good luck! I typically go to total wines and more! However, I decided to give this place another try... big mistake! I felt like I was at the corner liquor store in the hood with all the alcohol locked up behind the register! Never again! read more

I stood in front of the case for approximately 5 minutes while the employees at the counter behind me discussed what they wanted in their coffee. Have been into this place a good 10 times already since it's the closer store to my house. Only giving 4 stars because I think the store on Blackstone has a wider selection; this store is slightly smaller. The customer service I've received here is fantastic. Half the time I come into the store, I'm looking for something specific that I was referred to by a friend. Each time, the store employees have dropped what they were doing to walk me to the selection and point it out for me. There was even a time when they didn't have the brew in stock and asked if I wanted a phone call when they received it next. 10/10 customer service, would buy here again. read more

So much alcohol to choose from! The one in river park is nice but since this ones close to home I do my shopping here. I really love the little shot glasses they have by the checkout area. On plus side, they have a wine tasting bar, a friendly crew, wine accessories & the clientele seem to be classy people. Some of the girls that work here have the worst customer service. I myself work in customer service so I always give employees the benefit of the doubt. But 2 of the last 3 times I've been here with my girlfriend, she has pointed out how rude the cashiers are. We went on Thanksgiving day half an hour before they closed and the Caucasian cashier girl was very rude just because I forgot to take my ID out of my wallet. We went again last night to get my girlfriend's favorite wine bottle (which has been out of stock for the past 2 weeks). I asked the girl with glasses at the cash register when they usually get their inventory in because we wanted to get some bottles for Christmas and she gave me the death stare.
