10/10 vibes. Charlie is the best security/barback ever!!!! He was constantly checking on us and keeping our table clean.. love him!!

Service here is great, for a bar that typically does have 1 bartender working it feels well oiled. Very much a family vibe as well, from the few times I've visited it feels like people enjoy coming here as a group and never fail to have a good time. Drinks are amazing as well, Roxy and Nadine are the best!! read more

We had a great experience thanks to the security guard, Charlie! He was professional, friendly, and did an excellent job making everyone feel safe while still being welcoming! I will def be back!! read more

had the worst week of my life, my friends took me here to cheer me up on 10/21/25 bartender liked my FRIEND, intentionally made all 4 of my drinks UNDRINKABLE and then told my friend to come back alone, had to ask different parties to get me a drink, All I wanted was a relief from feeling pain and LISA intentionally made it 10x worse... Sad part is that he's just my FRIEND Management please contact me Also I'm a bartender with a general love for all people& positive environments Ps bartender couldn't even finish the straw test of her drink, and needed ingredients for a dirty Shirley as a experienced industry worker I never had to go this far nor have experienced so much disrespect when we came here for good vibes! I kept my cool the whole night .. do better Lisa! Management hire me! 619-362-6632 personality and class! read more

Me and my bestie had the best time. Can't wait to go again. Roxanne was awesome and the customers were so friendly.

I came here because I was just exploring Fresno, and heard some friends say they stop here on the regular to get a drink after work, or before going out to the club. This place is in a strip mall, and not what I expected. When I got there, I guess there had just been a fight. One of the guys was still at the bar, telling me he had to beat up his friend because he was on drugs, and disrespecting the bartender. Whatever. I just came for a drink. Slick's wasn't too clean or friendly, from my perspective. Maybe from a Fresno point of view, it's a cool place. I may or may not come back. I definitely won't go out of my way to come here, but maybe if I'm in the area again.. read more

Best dive bar to forget you have a life worth living. Parking is in the back. A Fresno bar. read more

Walked in.. Smelled like vomit... Benefit of the doubt we stayed. Ordered 3 beers and a shot of Jack...bill was 21.50... was given 50. 50 back. Then I said you owe me more she right away went to the register and got the rest of my money. She knew what she was doing. No hesitation on giving it to me....STRAIGHT UP HOOD RAT DIVE SPOT.... Bartender was an amazing lady. Was busy but still made time for each customer. Me and my lady even found someone to have some fun with in the parking lot as a bonus. Lol. He was happy. read more

Perfect spot to have a Drink after a long day at work. The Bartenders are Very attentive and Courteous!! Drinks aren't that Pricey either. This place has that "Cheers" kinda vibe! They have a TouchTunes jukebox also. read more

Dan I stand by my review. I will never go there again and I will never recommend this bar to anyone who has some class or standards. No holes in my "story". I'm a business owner myself and the customer service was not only outrageous but assault. My attorney agrees. read more

This review is in rebuttal to the comment below from Jazmin P.. I have been to Slick's on many occasions. The staff have always been courteous. The bouncer is a gentle giant. You posted this review 9 hours ago. That was 3am. Probably still very upset. Your post also seems to have many holes in it. Perhaps now, after you've slept on it, you can look back and take a look at the whole situation and think about how things could have been handled differently. Don't dwell on it. Just learn from it and move on. I will be going to Slicks again. And again. And again. Cool place to chill. Play some pool. Watch sports. Etc. read more

It's been well over 4 months since my last visit to Slicks, and I have to say this bar has really gone down hill since Brandon and Phylisha left, there's been a revolving door of bartenders who are either mediocre or outright terrible. The drink prices constantly change and there's no consistency on a how a drink is made. For the size of the bar, you'd think the bartender would be quick but it's mostly a wait for a weak drink. The bouncer is an alright dude and does a decent job in keeping order but what kills this bar is the lack of good customer service and consistency in price. The selection is pretty much typical don't expect anything high end, it's pretty much a dive bar that's slightly classier than Ewells. I wouldn't come back here unless I was on my way home and this was the last stop before last call. read more

I met a group of coworkers here over the weekend for a few drinks. It was my first visit so I came with a total open mind. My initial thought after walking in was that is was a little uncared for as far as cleanliness, the RR had no toilet paper and the paper towels that people were using for their clean hands was on the floor. Later when I went to close out my second tab I was told my card was declining and that was SUPER embarrassing! I knew I had available funds in both of the account linked to the card but since I was tipsy I didn't think to much into it. When I checked my phone I saw that my card had been double charged a few different times!!! My bank had temporarily locked my card due to this and the final charge had gone through TWICE! I will never return to this location for this very reason. read more

I used to work at this bar! And it's always been a chill hang out spot. There are always different crowds of people there too. So you never know who you will meet! It's gotten even better since Juana and Katie started working there weekend nights. They have fun with the customers, dance, play great music, and are both super sweet and sexy. I always have a blast when either one (or both) of these ladies are working! Their red beers are delicious and they have so many fun shooters they make up. read more

My first step in the door and the entire bar smells like a porta potty, which was hard to deal with. The crowd was depressing. The bartender Jasmine was polite. I had one drink and decided I'll never go back. I have standards. No Slicks, No Sandys Bar, No Hoodrats Please. read more

It's a small dive bar, but it knows exactly what it is and excels at it. The drinks are cheap and the bartenders are easy to get to know. There's a loyal following of regulars. Karaoke on Thursday nights which brings in a fun group of people. Mostly everyone is friendly and just there for a good time and to escape everyday problems. read more

Went in for a beer. Beer was good, service was great. Music was a bit too loud (damn, I sound like my mom).

This place is a dump. The owner is a jerk and what ever you do only get bottled beer. The sinks and glasses are NOT sanitary. Not to mention the amount of beggars and homeless that hang out in front. Very convienant location so this all bummed me out. After 4 times trying i won't be back. read more

Very friendly bar, that gets kind of rowdy. The bartenders are all very outgoing, and get very feisty with the patrons, whether they're regulars or not. Internet jukebox, with eclectic music playing all the time: rock, rap, country, etc. There are plenty of TV's to catch the game, and a cool auto racing themed atmosphere. Very clean for a dive bar. The last couple of times that I was there a few locals introduced themselves and welcomed me to the bar! Opens at noon weekdays. read more

I absolutely love this bar great bartenders. Great prices. Alot cleaner then it used to be actually smells good now.

Worst bar I have ever been to! Bartenders are having more fun than the patrons. When your drunk you can't do you job as well as patrons would like. I wanted 15 minutes to get a drink. She was dancing all over the place. Plus her big Lil self couldn't even dance. Will never come back. read more

I came from out of town and found this place on Yelp which I didn't even read the reviews before coming here but only went here because it happened to be in walking distance to our hotel so we came here to have a drink at this hole in the wall bar. This bar appears to welcome their regulars and definitely knows how to make others feel unwelcome. The second we walked in the stares began and there was no welcoming from the bartender. I walked up to the bar to order our drinks and just stood at the bar and waited for what felt like 5 minutes as the bartender looked my way but continued carrying on her personal conversation with the locals which she was cussing up a storm which seemed very odd to me and gave me a bad impression about this bar right from the get go. The area the bar is located at did not seem to be the safest area in Fresno to begin with. They have a jukebox that actually has plays really good music so that was a plus. I went to use the restroom and it's obvious that it does not get cleaned very often so I actually came back and finished up our drinks and left. Due to the service, atmosphere and dirtiness of the bar I will never be back to this bar even if it was across the street from my hotel. read more

Great service and drinks...good music.. Pretty packed place. Not as ghetto as nearby bars in that area read more

Slicks is a great dive. Small hole in the wall with good bartenders and great drinks at pretty low prices. Full bar with all the basic beers and liquors. Listen to the jukebox, play some pool, watch a game on TV and hang out. They don't serve food but we've taken stuff in before and they usually don't mind. Brandon is the best. Ask him to make something up for you, but I would recommend staying away from his concoction "The Stanky Leg." read more

I absolutely love Slicks. Calm and cool bar. Bartenders are very responsive and never let you go a few minutes without a drink. Security is always on point. Jukebox runs all night so you pick your own music. Drinks are very reasonably priced! read more
