This is my favorite breakfast spot. They're only open for breakfast and lunch. The portions are very generous and everything I've tried so far has been delicious. Their lattes are really good as well, and the staff is amazing. They're very friendly and helpful when you can't decide what to order. I do live pretty far from this location, and was instead told my bill would be adjusted. Two weeks later there has been no adjustment. You know the food is good when the line is out the door! The food does take a while to come out but no worries since the food was great. The chilaquiles here are absolutely amazing, the green sauce is so flavorful and the beans were delicious! The biscuits and gravy were so thick and yummy. The clam chowder was also pretty good. The unicorn hot chocolate was a lot more milky then chocolatey and the marshmallows were nice though. Their Abuelita coffee was pretty nice and very nicely presented. read more

5 stars - We loved this place when we went in to have brunch last weekend. We ordered breakfast and iced creme brûlée latte(which was strong and soo good, that's why we wanted to come back and order to go) but wasn't the same. 0 star - (ordering iced latte to go) However, this past Monday(which was only 2 days later from when we were there last Saturday) my husband came to order the iced creme brûlée latte to go(because it was so good). When they came out to give my husband the 2 iced creme brûlée latte. They actually brought out 2 hot creme brûlée latte. So my husband told them he ordered iced not hot. So the girl brought it back and just dumped iced into the hot latte and made it an iced latte and gave us the left over hot latte in a 3rd cup. So you can take a guess what happened to our iced latte it was super bland and water down. Even the 3rd cup that was still a hot latte.. tasted bland not strong and nothing like what we had over the weekend. I don't understand why they wouldn't take the time to remake our iced latte the right way.. I mean it was $5 each!! What a waste of $10 for 2 water down iced latte. I want a refund!!! read more

Finally got up early enough to try this place because it gets busy.. Had stopped by a couple of months earlier and tried to get a seat, but the hostess was so rude we just left. After a couple of friends told us about the food we decided to try again, thinking they should have worked out all of the kinks in their operation by then. The place was about a quarter the way full when the hostess tried to set us in a very small two top table right next to the entry way and opposite the kitchen, said no thanks and asked if we could just set in one of the several open booths. The menu looks fantastic and creative with plenty of options to satisfy just about anybody. We both settled on the "mount chillaquilles".. Wife got the red sauce and no extra meat. I ordered the green sauce with chili verde added on for $2.50 extra. I also requested home fries instead of the beans it came with, waitress said no problem. Food arrived at the table quick enough. I quickly realized they left off the beans as requested, however they didnt add the home fries. No problem, waitress came shortly after to check on us and I asked if I could get the fries, but they never came. I think this must have pissed off the waitress (didnt get her name, but had a couple of black rose tattoos on her arm) because she just got flat out rude after that. The sauces on both of the orders tasted good, the amount of chili verde was respectable considering it was only $2.50 for the extra, but it was not soft/tender as I would expect for great chili verde. I picked around my plate waiting for my home fried but they never came. Waitress stopped by some time later and asked if "they" ever brought out the home fries? Advised they did not, but not to bother and just requested our ticket. She dropped off my card after running it, gave a sarcastic "have a lovely day" and sped away.. Im sorry, but there is just way too much competition out there for me to give this place a second chance after both of the piss poor customer service experiences we had. Can't do a review on food because we got there at 1:50 pm and the hostess let use know the kitchen was closing in 20 min, then she sat us. When waitress came up to table she let us know they were closing soon and if we wanted order for are third guest who hadn't arrived yet. My eggs were practically hard boiled. Both of our biscuits over cooked so much that we didn't eat them. Then a fly landed on my food!
