1/31/26 In the market for a quality mattress for our aching backs (heck, our entire body)…read more Amazingly great selection at this Macy's in Lakewood Center mall, plus it closes at 9 pm on a Saturday while the one in Cerritos mall closes at 8 pm. A sales clerk, Jay, was helpful in giving us the rundown of what they offer, forthcoming with answers. Btw, there was no sales clerk at Cerritos when we visited. Delivery is free (I should've asked what the cut off or limit is) BUT it could take up to 7 days! Whoa! Good to know. King sized sets ranged from roughly $1000-2000 (free box spring, I sure hope so, I thought it automatically comes with it.). That's the sale price. That's your basic set, if you're looking for the bells & whistles, for instance, the motor for adjustable beds, that could run you another $1000. If it's 2 things a person MUST have, comfortable shoes & really good bed/mattress. Be good to yourself, you only have one life to live, these you must have. The sticker prices are a shock to your system but to have painful feet & body- is a M@T#€r&Uck3R lol. Our choices are pretty much narrowed down to the Sealy, firm with pillow top. But will continue to shop around. We're running out of time do we gotta hurry up. This Macy's was good stop.

I kept glancing at my items and wondering if I really needed them. I put back one item and because I had some descent clearance items, I was not parting with them. Anyway, that's the challenges in shoppingespecially when you don't feel well and standing was becoming chore. It only gets tiring when you can't move forward quick enough. if I wasn't annoyed at the lack of registers opened, I probably would've bought more.

We were racially profiled An employee basically accused us of stealing because of an "empty" hanger which wasn't even empty, the shirt was just tangled behind another one. It was so awkward and embarrassing. We were followed around the store the whole time, and the vibes at checkout were just trash. The lady was so passive-aggressive, asking "Is everything okay?" in the snarkiest tone, and she literally tried to peek inside my friend's purse while she was just trying to get her wallet out to pay! Then, as we were walking out, we heard her say "they left the store" into her walkie.Like, we literally just spent money here! It was so weird and uncomfortable. If you want to shop without being treated like a criminal, go literally anywhere else. For example go to the Marshalls in cypress or even Downey!!

A dress I tried on was on a hanger that looked like it should've been a set so I didn't get it and the worker acted as if I stole the other item but I explained that's why I put it back due to the missing piece. I could hear them over the headset! Such an uncomfortable experience! From now on I will be going to the Marshall's in Cypress that always has great customer service where the workers don't have bad attitude and watch you while you shop, so disappointed.

A lot of aisles were hard to go through with baskets due to them being so small. Many aisles were messy and needed to be cleaned up. Ample parking. Overall, a great place to shop for bargains for the entire family. They have everything you need from perfume, and home decor, to clothing and shoes for men and women. Plenty of kids' clothing, shoes, and toys.

Oh my gosh, they have all the things you could want. It's like Target on steroids. I'm used to single story Targets. This one blew my mind! They have it all here. Clothes, food, electronics, everything. There's even a Starbucks on the first floor. You can grab coffee and wander around Target and get lost lol I was looking at the bathing suites, since summer is almost here. They had a big selection of colors and styles. I was happy to find some cute ones. I also found that they sold every flavor of the liquid death drinks. Every flavor is mind blowing! It's almost so packed that it starts to feel cluttered, even though most items are organized properly. That being said the prices and variety are quite good. An item my friend wanted to pick up was sold out but that's because it was discounted quit well compared to other stores. I find their prices super competitive, but end up often going to other stores to do my general grocery shopping as sales on meats are often better elsewhere. But for general/most items I feel like Walmart is pretty solid.

I particularly appreciate the travel section (to the front right next to handbags) because I've found overstock Samsonite luggage - which ended up going home with my dad for an upcoming trip - for far less than what the Samsonite store would charge for it. The handbag section is nothing to sneeze at though because I've seen genuine Ted Baker purses for about $30 less than what neighboring Nordstrom Rack offers. In terms of layout, this location also has beauty and skincare in the middle right, shoes in the right rear, gourmet kitchen/home decor middle rear, pet supplies left rear, and kids/apparel in the middle. Thanks to the size of the space, the aisles here are nice and wide and easier to navigate despite the big crowds that come through the LB Exchange. It's not necessarily the most organized store, but makes up for it with the good selection available, Speaking of LBX - be mindful that parking can get tight during peak hours like weekends and after work, but that also means there's lots of good food options (ice cream, anyone?) and you can take care of your other errands in one go.
