If you love handbags...this is a GOOD one! I have been to many TJ Maxx's around the city and this one has an amazingly wonderful designer collection! I have been hunting for an MK backpack online and to my delight it was here for 1/2 the price! Love this place. Handbag heaven my friends! Very nice and clean and you can visit SaksOff5th and Nordstrom Rack while you are at it. My new favorite plaza. Hells yes! read more

TJ Maxx - Department Stores Near Me - Cerritos, California

This store has poor management!! The line to check out was about 50 people deep! Being diabetic and its lunch time,, i could not wait that long. I asked the manager if she could hold my items till Monday because I pass by there after work, she agreed. Went in this morning Sunday to purchase..no line and they put my stuff back. I even went in a day earlier to pick up. Why would you tell a customer you would hold it and then don't!!! Well TJ Maxx you just lost a customer i will purchase elsewhere!!! read more

I came here to clean up on athletic apparel. Needed some long sleeve workout tops. The cold weather we were having demanded it. They had a nice selection. Even scored on a new pair of Asics for $20 - #winning. I'm a Nordy's snob, but oddly I did better here than the new neighboring Nordy's Rack. The store was nice and clean and it was fairly easy to maneuver around. I also thought the associates were friendly. This is a great store. They offer designer items at pocket friendly prices. Go on all you TJ Maxonista Fashionistas. You too will find a way to walk out with three or more bags of goodies. You deserve it! read more

We have been going to this tjmaxx for a while now, love the things they have in store. But this last visit to this location left a bad taste in my mouth. We found a cat shampoo that we really wanted, $3.00 last one on the shelf, but it was broken. The dispenser had been broken off... So we went to the cash register to buy some other things including the broken cat shampoo. I ask the boy (brown hair, average height) at the cash register if we can possibly get a discount. (not a big deal because it's 3$ but it was broken) He says "yeah sure! It will be like $1.50 or $1.00, let me just get my manager to approve it." So we wait like 5 minutes for the manager to come around and he comes over with a big attitude before we even say a word to him. (black hair slicked back, height short, wearing an abercrombie maroon sweater) He asks us questions with an attitude "what's wrong with it?!, what do you want?, what is this? I mean there's nothing wrong with it, whats really wrong with it? " (it's your product it should be obvious to tell the pump is broken off) after we show him he says "I'm only going to give you 50 cents off, do you want it? No? Ok." and walks away At that point I didn't want to buy anything else in my cart. Not because of the discount, but the service. I hope he gets fired, and bad on the employee making false advertisements to us as well. Won't be going to this tjmaxx again. read more

The women working at the front need to work on customer service and actually do their job tohelp customers with carts .Two employees just stood there with the clicker to count the amount of ppl with disinfectant cart next to them (not helping anyone). They could at least help give customers the cart that were jammed together and help wipe them down . Instead I said "hello" and she just gave me a rude stare . And when I left I forgot that they don't allow carts outside , yet she stared at me walking out knowing the cart would get stuck just to make me look dumb and didn't offer to help me with the cart . Mind you there are 2 women at the entrance doing nothing ,so off putting . At least the cashier I got was kind but the women in front need training . read more

Worst customer service, cashier and manager are rude and disrespectful I would never come back to this store

I came here with my uncle, and it was quite nice. My uncle snagged a BB-8 foil frame and gave it to me. There are always good deals here read more

TJ Maxx - BB-8 Artismo Frame for $14.99 - Department Stores Near Me - Cerritos, California

Staff friendly if u can find one, store somewhat clean, prices reasonable, will return.

Came here to do a return once and the manager (Hispanic 40-50's) woman told me they "don't give bags". I had a return I didn't have my receipt for and I preferred to hold on it and still shop and she said to just stuff it in my purse because the store doesn't give bags. Nice manager. read more

I just wanted to commend Marisol M. at the Cerritos store location. The store was busy and I had a special request to pull up an old receipt that I needed. She was able to go to the back office and try to lookup what I needed. Although she couldn't find it at the moment because she had the store to run, she was kind enough to gather all my information and promise me that she will work on it after the store gets a little slower to find me the information that I needed. She sincerely went above and beyond her call of duty and I just wanted to commend her and give her some recognition so that her superiors can take note that she deserves a raise or whatever recognition you can give her because she is an extremely hard worker and dedicated to the satisfaction of all the people who walk into her store. Thank you! read more

All I can say is wow. This TJ Maxx is huge. It is very well stocked and organized. As a guy I rarely have a large selection to choose from at these stores. I had no problems at this location. I will definitely come back when it's time to shop. read more

TJ Maxx - Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Good - Department Stores Near Me - Cerritos, California

Todays experience at this particular TJ*Maxx was just great, after browsing around and finding a couple of good quality makeup at a great price I headed over to the jewelry department and was quickly helped by Yvonne who was very knowledgeable and patient. They have a great selection of items, the store looked very organized and the whole checkout process was great! The associate by the name of John was very friendly and helpful at the time of checkout, made my shopping experience even better! (Keep it up with the awesome customer service guys!) Will definitely be returning to this TJ*Maxx read more

Horrible customer service. I went in to buy some stuff and ended up liking some jewelry also. Turns out you have to pay for the jewelry there and then stand in line again for the rest of the stuff. How inconvenient is that?! It's ridiculous. The worst part is I've done that at other stores so why is this one different?! I won't be coming here again. read more

OK so I bought two bras when Home wore them for a few hours only one of them realized it doesn't fit me so I went back to the store to take them back well I didn't have my receipt and they said because I didn't have the original packaging they wouldn't take it so I went home look through the trash found all the original packaging from back then they still said they wouldn't take him because one of them is been worn I said yeah I work for a couple hours that's when I realized it didn't fit me so they said what if you had a receipt it would be different so I asked him so if I come back with the receipt then you would return them they said no probably not because it's been worn this all doesn't make any sense first it's the packaging then it's the fact that I wore one then it's the fact of no receipt and now even with the receipt they wouldn't take it poor customer service beware buyers read more

The store was clean and organized (for the most part). I went on a Wednesday afternoon so it wasn't busy. I was able to shop in peace. The staff was also friendly. read more

I went in this TJ Maxx location in Cerritos today July 7th, 2019 a few minutes before closing to buy a harness for my dog. At the check out counter, the sales guy (a homey white guy with long hair) asked me did I forget to pay for the Nike hat I was wearing. I said what? What are you saying? What made you think I stole it? I had the whole Nike outfit, from shirt to sports bra to shorts and hat. I told him that his remarks were insulting, did I look like a thief. I was really mad and all he said was some people forget to pay and did not even apologize. I told him that he should check the store surveillance video before opening his stupid mouth and accuse good customers of stealing. I was asking for the manager but nobody said anything or pointed me to one. It was late and I had to go but I can't let this go unnoticed. Of all the money I spent at this store, Home Goods, and Marshalls, this was how they thank me? Guess what, you just lost a good customer. I will never buy from these 3 stores again. TJ Maxx already showed that they don't care about their customers: Instead of utilizing their cameras, security guards like Ross, they trained their ignorant sales people to assume and accuse customers of stealing. Great!! Good bye and good luck. I can see their future to be just like Sears: go to hell! read more

I don't know if it's cause this location is new but I absolutely love it! I found so many things to buy, plus it was neat and organized. The beauty section, with hair products had such a good selection. I'll be back often! read more

Nasty attitude with cashier who was on register 1 December 28th, 2017 around 1:30pm. I don't find many quality things at this location. I like looking for high end makeup here, but there is so very little and a lot of it is messy, used, and opened. The majority of the time I come in thinking I'll find something, but walk out with nothing or just a couple of items. read more

I like the new location but you need to update your Yelp hours! I came here because you open at 9, and apparently you don't. Now I'm going to try elsewhere...I'm not the only one either, I saw 6 people come and leave when your doors were actually closed... read more

TJ Maxx is always my go-to store, but the Cerritos location was ridiculous. Today I went for a couple of things and during check out the cashier asked for my ID. She said that I couldn't buy the items with my CC unless I had my ID (which I've never experienced or heard of anywhere else) I had left it at home but told her I had my debit card and other credit cards with my name on them so she can verify my identity that way. She asked me to pay with my debit card and I told her that i didn't want to. She went to speak to the manager (5 feet away from me) and the manager didn't even acknowledge me and had her back turned away from me and told the cashier very loudly "no she can come back with her ID if she wants." As if I was not standing right in front of them. There is no law that states you have to show your ID is you're using your CC but I was still willing to show her other cards that I had in my wallet. Will not be going back due to their unprofessionalism, rudeness and overall ridiculous policies. read more

If I could rate this location 0 stars , I would . Every single time I come into the store it is messy & unkept . Always understaffed & the cashiers move EXTREMELY SLOW . The employees/cashiers lack basic customer service skills & have no sense of urgency . When I complained to one of the cashiers about the slowness & their policy on returning the cashier said , "thats just our system I don't know what you want me to do about it" How about customer servicing ! The system they use for ringing people up is clearly outdated & not efficient (what is the point of offering e-receipt if you guys can't pull it up in the store?? & what's up with not being able to do multiple returns at a time??? We're almost in 2020 , catch up ! smh) I can totally understand why shoppers prefer shopping with surrounding competitors (Off Saks , Burlington , Nordstrom Rack etc.) You guys might need to take a page out of their book . All in all the prices are great , the people running the store ? Not so much read more
