TJ Maxx in Cerritos never disappoints! There is so much stuff to browse through, especially after the holidays, it can be a little unorganized, but honestly that just adds to the treasure-hunt vibe. This store has remained my favorite ever. I couldn't help but spend the gift cards I got for Christmas here I love shopping here for both home décor and fashion finds. Customer service is always top tier, and they actually keep all the cash registers open. Even when the line is long, it moves way faster than Ross for sure! I love Ross too, but those lines move slooow Plus, parking is never a problem since there are tons of other shops around, and plenty of restaurants nearby for when you shop till you drop and need to refuel TJ Maxx forever! read more

Also a huge store! There is so much to see! The Beauty/Bath and Body/Skin Care section is huge! The Travel section was fun to explore as well! Dressing Room: The friendliest customer service! Conversation flowed easily! Super cute sayings on the door of each dressing room as well! Parking: Plentiful & shared with all of the other stores and restaurants around! Overall: Yes! I cannot express how much I love the TJ Maxx in the sense of it always has pretty good stuff but when I tell you, the cashiers are the slowest people ever. It's actually insane. Most of them are very sweet. I've never had a rude encounter with them, but they take their sweet time to check people out so then a line accumulate throughout the store. I have never ever ever been somewhere let alone work somewhere that has no urgency when it comes to a huge line.... Management please train your people to be faster when there's a long line respectfully, nobody wants to wait in line for a whole hour. read more

I was in the area and decided to check out the Cerritos TJ Maxx. This store is on the bigger side. I went on a Saturday so it was pretty busy. I came looking for these "charm" glass cups. They're shorter and wider and have a design on them like candy canes, mushrooms, sunflowers, and more. I was so happy to find this bow design. There were 3 total but 2 of them were in poor condition so I only got 1. The price was around $5 which is good to me. The line went by very fast and staff was friendly enough. read more

June 2021 During the pandemic last year the store was good at reminding customers to wear a mask while social distancing and limiting the number of customers in the store. Recently I notice due to the mask no longer being mandated theirs hardly any social distancing so the lines are long. The store is always well-stocked and organize but the reason for 4stars instead of 5 is the times I came to this store I keep experiencing assertive male employees who push signing up for the TJ Max credit card and are a bit too comfortable standing too close to you as you walk around the store. read more

I am loving the new TJ Maxx! Typically TJ Maxxs are the dirtier little brother to Ross but this one shines bright. Literally! The store is very nicely lit with high ceilings and spacious aisles. Only time will tell this location stays with the same sparkling standards, but for now, I'm definitely making this a stop on my shopping "go to's"! I admit I was very dissapointed with the children's apparel & accessories, which looked more like a clearance rack. Not only was there very little apparel, some sizes were completely missing as their stock was very sparse. There was however a decent variety of toys and books for children and I picked up a few Christmas items at a great deal! The fab: the selection on home decor, kitchen and bath was great. Tons to sort through and contemplate if I really needed it or I was just in love with it. Haha. The make-up and toiletries blew me way and I spent a bit of time combing through 1.5 aisles and 2 endcaps. I picked up some essential oil, fancy pants soap and philosophy shampoo. Score!! read more

This is a nice and newer TJ Maxx, but there are a few better shopping options in the same plaza. They are still great for home and kids items and if you shop their clearance you can find some great deals. The line here gets super long and even with a few cashiers open, it doesn't move fast. Good to browse, but not worth going out of your way for. read more

First of all I love TJ Maxx so I decided to come with my mom to go shopping. Experience was great and everything when but when I decided to pay I was talking to my mom in Spanish and explain to her that I was going to return this first and then pay for what we came for shopping for. A manager helped me didn't get her name but I will make sure her name is in the receipt but sad to say she was a manager instead of a employee. She was nice and everything but when I started to speak Spanish she started to treat me like shit. I hand her the receipt in her hand and instead of giving it to my hand like you should with manners she left it on the counter like if I was like trash. This manager is at Cerritos Plaza never seen her before but if I do see her again I will report her and talk to her boss because I think it's not right just because I speak to language and I don't want to say she's racist but that's how I felt once I was talking to my mom in Spanish so next time watch your attitude and make sure you treat everyone right as a manager or supervisor whatever you are you're supposed to show your team a great example thank you and check yourself before I check you. Their loss prevention is very aggressive and paranoid to the point where the lady watched me pick up each and every item. She was wearing red pants and a fanny pack. First impression: clean floors, spacious aisles. Stock a bit disheveled. - I was looking for SOCKS. Many pair on different racks so it wasn't easy to discern price. - SCARVES were hung from horizontal poles: textures and colors blended together, prices varied from $14-40. Had to pick through most of the stock to find the ones I eventually bought. - LOTIONS and other creams filled one aisle. Too much stock in too small an area. Lotions sell big at Christmastime so they probably had more on shelf than will be the norm going forward. - CHRISTMAS decorations. We're only a few days away from Christmas. Most items are picked over. I like TJ Maxx's inventory so I'll come back in the new year. read more

TJ Maxx is located in the same plaza with Nordstrom Rack, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH and Sketchers. Large parking lot, but parking can be a challenge, especially on busy weekends. I came by this location with my mom yesterday early evening. Since this location is pretty new, this place is nice and clean and well organized. But in general, TJ Maxx stores seem to be pretty neatly organized (MUCH different from Marshall stores, most of them just have clothes all over the floor, although the one in this plaza does not). Although I did not find anything on this visit, my mom ended up purchasing some leggings and pants at a great price. Wait time to pay for my mom's items was not too long. The employee who rang her up was nice and made small talk. Will definitely come back if in the area. read more

Great deals and great savings!!! It is always a steal when you find designer brands for less. This TJ Maxx is just like any other location. The store is organized by signs in each department. The prices are affordable and even cheaper on clearance items. Most of the items they carry are in great condition. I rarely see any items that are beat up and poor quality. They have good inventory of just about everything from Christmas decorations to exercise equipments all at half prices. If you are looking for discounted after season clothes definitely stop by they have great selections. They have great workers here - I never encountered a rude worker all the times I have visited. When I pay for my items they always say hello and make small talks. The return policy is easy they do not ask a lot of questions as long as the items are in good quality. Always have your receipts that way it is a smoother process and less questions asked. If you find stuff at HomeGoods that you like but it is a bit pricey, just wait a couple weeks when they discount it and sell it here. This location is clean and roomy. We have been going to this tjmaxx for a while now, love the things they have in store. But this last visit to this location left a bad taste in my mouth. We found a cat shampoo that we really wanted, $3.00 last one on the shelf, but it was broken. The dispenser had been broken off... So we went to the cash register to buy some other things including the broken cat shampoo. I ask the boy (brown hair, average height) at the cash register if we can possibly get a discount. (not a big deal because it's 3$ but it was broken) He says "yeah sure! It will be like $1.50 or $1.00, let me just get my manager to approve it." So we wait like 5 minutes for the manager to come around and he comes over with a big attitude before we even say a word to him. (black hair slicked back, height short, wearing an abercrombie maroon sweater) He asks us questions with an attitude "what's wrong with it?!, what do you want?, what is this? I mean there's nothing wrong with it, whats really wrong with it? " (it's your product it should be obvious to tell the pump is broken off) after we show him he says "I'm only going to give you 50 cents off, do you want it? No? Ok." and walks away At that point I didn't want to buy anything else in my cart. Not because of the discount, but the service. I came here to clean up on athletic apparel. Needed some long sleeve workout tops. The cold weather we were having demanded it. They had a nice selection. Even scored on a new pair of Asics for $20 - #winning. I'm a Nordy's snob, but oddly I did better here than the new neighboring Nordy's Rack. The store was nice and clean and it was fairly easy to maneuver around. I also thought the associates were friendly. This is a great store. They offer designer items at pocket friendly prices. The women working at the front need to work on customer service and actually do their job tohelp customers with carts .Two employees just stood there with the clicker to count the amount of ppl with disinfectant cart next to them (not helping anyone). They could at least help give customers the cart that were jammed together and help wipe them down . Instead I said "hello" and she just gave me a rude stare . And when I left I forgot that they don't allow carts outside , yet she stared at me walking out knowing the cart would get stuck just to make me look dumb and didn't offer to help me with the cart .
