What is funny and very "it's a small world" is the owners' son Tanmay had his wedding at the same day I was servicing another wedding and his wedding was the one with the working air conditioning, so a lot of the wedding guests crashed his! Back to the review and no more side track stories... Speaking of Tanmay, who manages Frontier Heritage -- I met him at the South Asian Bridal Show this year at The Westin Anaheim Resort. I started to email him right away because I was most excited about choosing my lehenga for my Sangeet. I had one main inspo photo in mind -- it was a lavender with silver accents of florals in an elaborate design. I brought it to my consultation and showed it to Masuma, who is one of their retail attendants. She seriously was gooooood... the first lehenga she grabbed was it! That was my Sangeet dress!! After a few months, I was called back in because it finally arrived from India. The fitting went so well and efficiently. I mean it makes sense since they take every possible measurement on the consultation day. The only part I needed to alter were my sleeves, which needed to be taken in and a part of my backing. Since I was there, I had to look into jewelry. Since my fiance and I are doing a nod to The Lord of the Rings, I already had my main necklace picked out -- Arwen's Evenstar. I needed silver bangles to go with everything and of course I find the perfect pair. TMI side note -- I have large hands so I was worried they were not going to have my size. Surprisingly, they had some. The third trip back was the last fitting and it looked and felt great. The lavender lehenga was mine and I took her home! I am so happy with my overall pre-Sangeet experience. Tanmay and Masuma made it so seamless! (Quick Shout Out: Thank you, Tanmay for keeping up with all my emails lol.
