Mall is so 2019. This is my Bath and Body Works to go to when I just want to get in and get out. Located in the Cerritos Town Center. You park your car and just walk in the shop. They are well stocked! Customer service is always friendly and helpful. At the convenience of the shop being free standing and not inside of a mall, the Town center does get busy and parking can be a little difficult if you come on a weekend. But just park a little bit further, and you'll be fine. I would rather go through that instead of struggling for parking at a mall and walk inside to find where the store is located. read more

Great products. Terrible location. I have been here at least 5 times, and it's been the same: Rude customer service. The staff's attitudes are unwelcoming and unfriendly. They especially do a terrible job when you are checking out. The lady that helped me recently did a poor job explaining what the current sales were, so my total for the products came out more than what I expected. I went back to her to explain my concern, in which she rolled her eyes at me, gave me an awful tone, and blamed me for not understanding her wrong explanation. She made me feel like it was my fault she had to fix the transaction. This is the only location where I find the staff bad. Do Better. read more

When you do an exchange they will not check your receipt but instead ask for your ID right away and accept your return at a lowest price. This is what they did to me. I even offered my receipt but I ended up paying more. I have been a loyal customer of Bath and Body Works but this location has a team member who is not doing their job the right way. I hit up a bunch of bath and body works locations because I wanted to see what candles they had for their semi annual sale When I walked in I was immediately greeted by, Shawn. She was literally so helpful. Every time I saw her she was helping multiple customers while checking on me at the same time. She was so bubbly and friendly. I'm sorry, but most people who work here are unfortunately not that talkative and friendly. While I was standing next to her a really young guy was leaving and approached her saying she was amazing. He went to a store by his place (he didn't say which location) and that they were all jerks to him and treated him unfairly. And thanked her again for being so kind and helpful. My mother chimed in and said she totally agreed she was amazing and then I asked her for her name and agreed as well. People like Shawn definitely need to be in the front of the store saying hello to everyone. Please put the grumpy people in the back somewhere. It's the semi annual sale and I'm sure everyone that works here is tired of seeing grown women fighting over candles and essential oil products. Came in today to get some more sanitizers for my husband and myself. It was not packed whatsoever. They had a lot of good sales going on. Every time we come to this location it is so clean and well organized. Staff is always friendly and helpful asking if you need help or a bag to shop. I like that they have a rewards program available, they have an app and its so easy to use. You earn points for spending a certain amount of money and you get a free gift. They send coupons every once in a while by mail too and on the app they give you special sales for members. You also get a free gift for your birthday. I love Bath & Body Works because of all the wonderful items they have available and the perks. read more

I recently stopped here to use a free reward for an item $16.95 or less. I had my eyes on a spray that stated $16.95 online. When I went up to the register, the cashier explained that the item was actually $17.95 and refused to price match the item online even with proof. I asked if I could purchase it online and pick up in store... she said it wouldn't work. I instead placed an order for pick-up at a different location and, yes, it worked. As a former retail cashier, I understand that when an item is above price, it does not fall under the sale. If you value your time, don't bother with in-store pick-up. We've been waiting for probably an hour for a hand soap and a candle...along with like 20 other frustrated people. In that time, they've probably bought like 3 other orders out. Then, they tell everyone to come back tomorrow to pick up their order instead because they have no one to fill orders...including people that had been sitting here waiting even longer than I was. I should have read the reviews before picking this location to pick up from. Ordered 2 candles and email said my order was ready. Go to pick them up, and there's me and 10 others waiting outside in the cold. Instead of having one person check in orders and another getting them ready, two people are standing up there just writing down people as they come in. Pretty sad they don't have any system going on and you'll end up waiting 30-45 mins. Then when they say it is ready, they'll tell you they can't give it to you because they need to go in order, even though they aren't preparing them in order. It is a joke. Bath & Body Works should not be supported during these COVID times for treating their customers this way. Knew it from the beginning but anyone who seems like SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES INSTEAD. UPDATE ON THIS REVIEW: Didn't even check my order because I was so upset- they replaced one of the candles without telling me because they ran out of stock so instead they gave me two of the same. 8/9/2020 COVID-19 update COVID-19 Safety measures: this store did really great, they enforce social distancing and have a lot of staff on hand to sanitize the store/enforce social distancing/payment. During checkout they sanitize in between customer and sneeze guards are in place to protect workers and customers Guest and staff are required to wear masks. Capacity limit to 10 people at a time. Shopping: instead of baskets, Bath & Body Works use their own paper bags to be your "shopping bag" which I appreciated because it was like not in contact with a lot of people/felt less stressful than making sure something was sanitizer properly Overall: This store location did a great job handling the covid-19 situation and based on this i would visit again read more

If I could give no stars I would. Do not under any circumstances or for any reason do an in store pick up here. Received an email about my order being ready to be picked up. Came to the store only to find out they were no longer taking order numbers and they were bringing out orders for people who had to come back from the previous night. I was told I had to come back which to me means we don't value your time & money. It was a waste of time. Three workers in the front not doing anything. Store manager "picking orders" one by one and hiding in the back like a spineless jellyfish. Oh and let's talk about how there was a hoard of people surrounding the front of the store and none of the workers could give clear directions. No safety precautions. Never shopping here again. I've been to this location twice this year and both times have been a good experience. They provide you with sanitizer before entering and truly stick to the capacity limits during this pandemic. They also wipe down the check out counter between each customer and have barriers to protect everyone. I wanted to review their buy online and pick up in store service which I used on today's visit. I noticed there are a lot of bad reviews from a few months ago, likely when the service initially began. I know this is a new service they are testing in certain stores. I had no issues today so maybe they have since worked out the issues. I let them know at the front I had an order I was picking up. I also had a return to process so I physically went inside the store. I'm not sure if they normally bring the order to the door or if you still need to go inside. When I went inside I did my return and then waited a couple minutes for them to bring out my order. I took time to check it, and then signed off on it. Pretty simple and was only in store about five minutes total. read more

I bought about 30 bottles of body mists and body moisturizers to give as gifts to my employees and he refused to give me bags. Five stars isn't enough for how much I LOVE this store and their fantastic staff. The sales associates are always helpful and chock full of information and suggestions when I ask questions. If I just walk in to browse I'm greeted then left to my own thoughts while I explore their sweet stock of scents and associated gifts. Last Halloween I bought 2 bottles of the holiday foamy handwash - one slime green, the other blood red. My 6yr-old grandson LOVED them just like the store clerk told me he would. Yes, he washed his hands more than usual so I sent them home with him. Went to the store next day to find they were sold out of the Halloween collection. WAH!! Have made a note to restock early next Halloween. Wasn't ready for Christmas in sweltering hot October but picked up a couple bottles of Candy Cane Bliss foamy handwash to replace BooBoo Slime and Vampire Blood. WOWOWzeewow, nice. As a rule, I wash my hands at the in-store sink to pretest the scents. Some are overpowering, pungent, or too spicy. Candy Cane Bliss smelled like sparkling crystals. YUM! So impressed I returned the next day to buy a few more bottles of Candy Cane Bliss for family and friends as pre-Christmas gifts. Everyone is raving over the scent. Wish I could post smells here. Since I can't, go check it out yourself. Think about it: the scent of candy cane is a no calorie, no fat, low cost, universally enjoyed treat. Merry Christmas Bath and Body Works. I came here a few times and had a great experience with everything in stock and great service! but the last time I came here I bought a pack of perfume, lotion and hand sanitizer! Was waiting in line to go pay and while I was waiting the cashier ( I never got her name) gave me the dirtiest looks. Next while I was paying for my stuff she seemed irritated and gave me more dirty looks. DIDNT appreciate that AT ALL! She asked if it was a gift and if I wanted a bag and tissue paper and I said yes. Whatever you do, don't order online and do store pickup thinking it will save you time--it won't. I waited for an excessively long time for a simple order of just two hand soaps. It would have been much quicker to get in the line to shop in the store and just buy the soaps like that. I asked if I could do just that and get credit for my order, and they said I wouldn't receive the discounted price I'd gotten online. So I have to wait for over an hour for two soaps, and you can't even honor my discount?
