I've been wanting to check out this floral shop for a while due to one of the main reasons being the presence of the My Melody art on the window . I was hoping to walk in and get a bouquet for my mom's birthday. Lynda was very personable and accommodating! I let her know I'd like purple incorporated in the arrangement and she was able to put together something very beautiful right on the spot. She mentioned that she was going to upgrade my flowers because she had a certain vision that she was going for. I later realized that she upgraded free of charge. I really appreciated the fact that she stuck with the price she gave me at the beginning without compromising the quality of her work. WOW - Where do I begin? We own a small business in San Diego and we have a wonderful client in Cerritos, who was recognized in her field of work. We wanted to congratulate her and send flowers. Walked in here knowing nothing about flowers or arrangements etc. It was my grandpa's 90th birthday so I wanted to get him something and decided flowers would be the thing. Upon entering, was greeted by Lynda and was asked what I was looking for etc. Upon conversing and deciding on a smaller bouquet, Lynda provided me with a beautiful, radiant yellow bouquet. She also told me what goes into flower arranging, which was something I've been curious about for a while. For the next week after his birthday, I was told how lovely those flowers were and how they held up for so long as well as how much my grandpa loved them. I am the type of person who researches into a business before selecting it, and I was nervous that because this spot works with the entertainment industry that the arrangements and bouquets would be out of my price point. But surprisingly, Lynda has just about everything to suit each price range. Know that it won't be as affordable as a Trader Joe's bouquet but the quality of Lynda's arrangements are nothing but top tier and the price range here is quite fair, objectively speaking. I initially reached out to Lynda to get a quote for a ceremony arch. From the start, she was very friendly and transparent/realistic with her pricing. After I decided to move forward, we met for a design meeting and she gave me a mini-tour of her shop showing me different types of flowers that she has. She asked me a lot of questions to determine exactly what I wanted and even gave me samples to take home! And the sample roses she gave me had thick stems and smelled amazing! A few days before the wedding, she reached out asking to do a tour of the venue so she can determine the correct size of the arch and get a sense of the atmosphere ... All this extra work for one small project! I could tell right away that she cares about her work and that no project is too small for her. I had also asked her to help me reuse some of the arch arrangements as a centerpiece. A few days later, she called and said that it will be difficult to reuse the arch flowers because of the way they are shaped and offered to make a whole new centerpiece.... for free!! AMAZING! When the Big Day finally arrived and I saw her work... I was blown away! She definitely EXCEEDED my expectation! The smell of the roses filled the venue as soon as you walked in! She did a phenomenal job making the arrangements look WAY MORE expensive than what I had actually paid for. Although I only got to hire her for one part of the wedding, I know she would've done an outstanding job if I had hired her for the entire wedding. I had ordered a bouquet for Valentine's day to be delivered to my girlfriend's work. It was ordered on the 4th and was set to deliver on the 13th. The delivery time window that I had submitted was 9 am - 2 pm, which I thought was sufficient since her office closes @ 2 pm on Saturdays. Out of curiosity, I had texted my girlfriend to ask her the office closing time and she responded it will be closing in a minute, that was 2:01 PM. I figured and assumed that the flower hasn't been delivered so I called 'La fleur by Tracy' to speak with someone and no one answered. On the fourth attempt, I was able to get hold of someone and had told her the situation and we hung up soon after because my sole intention was to get this bouquet in her hands. I cannot precisely remember the conversation that I had with the lady over the phone but it was a brief apology as far as I can recall. At 2:12 pm, my girlfriend called me asking that If I had sent something. And obviously, I said 'yes.' And soon after 5 minutes from that conversation she had received a bouquet. It finally came to a succession which made me relieved. However, I don't want this bouquet to be delivered to her with the driver calling her saying 'not to leave because I am arriving soon.' The bouquet on V-day should be delivered to the recipient more thoroughly and meticulously with an appropriate demeanor. I want my girlfriend to receive the bouquet cordially. And, yes, the bouquet was beautiful and my girlfriend enjoyed it and I was a happy camper after all. And I understand that this is the busiest season for florists and things can be overlooked. But the whole experience was not what I expected, not even up to par. I still like to give you my gratitude for making my girlfriend's day and it could've come to perfection if it was delivered more precisely. read more

Long story short, I ordered a surprise flower delivery. Rather than delivering it directly to the request location, the delivery person called the recipient to come out to get the flower from his car. Supposedly, he could not find parking near the apartment... Not being able to find parking? I completely understand. But how do rest of the delivery guys and gals (i.e. pizza, ups, fedex, amazon, etc.) deal with the situation? Double park the car, turn on the emergency light and deliver the item. If finding parking around LA is a problem, don't know how others are capable of delivering items without having the recipient come out to the street to get them. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I placed an order a few months back for my grandma's 100th birthday party. The party was initially going to be 10-12 tables and i had emailed Tracey to see if i could order table arrangement for $45 each. She said it was fine, but later emailed me, saying that the amount was too less, and she needed a bigger budget. After some annoying back and forth, I she said $45 was okay. So, two weeks before the event, my uncle confirms that the number of tables is now 20. I emailed Tracey to confirm the number of tables and to send me the final amount, She replied right away with the bill which was over $900. I then realized that it was way over my initial budget of 600. I immediately email Tracey to see if she could make the arrangements under $30, or I will have to cancel the order. She did not respond to me at all. A week has passed, and since i live in Australia, i couldn't call Tracey to sort it out. I had then asked my brother to help me take care of the arrangement order with another shop since Tracey was not being responsive. I waited till the weekend and called Tracey to cancel my order. She completely flips. She said i was a "bad girl" for cancelling on her so late. I told her that i sent her last week (which was 2 weeks before the event) either make the flowers work under my budget, or to cancel the order. I told her that i couldn't afford to spend 900, and she said that's not my problem!!!! She was very rude to me over the phone and did not try to make the problem right. I asked for me deposit of $250 back and she refused and said if i dispute the charges, she would dispute them right back. If she would have emailed right back, we could have worked something out. I worked at a flower shop myself for 7 years, so i know what exactly goes on. 2 weeks notice is plenty of time to action any changes. I don't know how good Tracey's work is, but i do know that she doesn't care about the customer's needs and concerns and only cares about her making money. read more

I entrusted Tracy to be my wedding florist since I was told she is the best in K-town. She always seems very busy, at times I was afraid she may miss one or two minor details on my wedding. And her packages are pricier than other Korean vendor's, but I believe you pay for what you get. I was pleasantly surprised she made all my floral arrangements look exactly like the pictures I've shown her, including our bouquets. I loved all my wedding flowers, except the Unity Candle which we could've done without. While Tracy did a beautiful job with my wedding flowers, I wanted to strangle her assistants who did not tell us where everything was -- like Roses to Moms were no where to be found before the ceremony, and the lighter to light the candles was misplaced. Did not sound annoyed and was patient. She made it easy to order roses for my mom. I paid extra for decoration to the 24 long stem roses. Ordered two sets of flowers for my friends' birthdays that land a few days after mother's day so it's not uncommon that orders get messed up or are not up to par due to florists running out of flowers (same thing happens to me for my friend whose birthday is two days after Valentine's Day haha). I was very surprised and impressed that La Fleur actually texted and called me to let me know that my arrangements will be slightly different from what I had ordered. I have been ordering flowers for my friends for YEARS and this is the first time I actually received a call to let me know!! Usually they just send it out, I get the picture and then have to complain asking why the arrangement was so disappointing. This was absolutely not the case! I totally understood and Lynda even offered to add additional flowers and even a peony which is typically a pricier flower. They did not disappoint!! Both of my friends received BEAUTIFUL and FULL arrangements and were even prettier than the pictures I choose from online. When ordering flowers it's can be tricky but you have to remember that you aren't ordering a t shirt that is manufactured exactly the same thousands of times... u are ordering flowers which can be different depending on availability and the style each florist brings to the arrangement. I chose this florist because someone else in my office had used them and the flowers looked very nice when they arrived. i like their website and how easy it is order online, however there are no dimensions/measurements of the arrangements so you don't get a clear idea of how big to actually expect them to be. I had ordered some for a birthday and spent well over $120 on an arrangement that looked pretty big. When the flowers arrived they were very beautiful, HOWEVER, the arrangment was so much smaller than what it looked like online... I was actually really dissappointed! Also, they are willing to deliver pretty far with a price! So just keep that in mind... I think it would be free or under $10 if local. read more

I just had my wedding on October 16th and Tracy was my florist. She is THE BEST florist you could ask for. I went to Tracy because I liked the flowers she did for the wedding of my friend's friend. So I made an appointment to discuss flowers for my wedding. Tracy sat with me for at least an hour and listened to what I envisioned for my wedding. She also gave me a very good price. On my wedding day people thought the flowers cost at least $4000 because they were so large and beautiful! Tracy used the flowers for the ceremony and then moved them to the reception area. In Korean weddings, the guests take the flowers home along with the vases. Well... I heard that there was even competition over who will take the flowers home. When I first saw the church with the flowers on the aisle, I was shocked because the flowers made the already beautiful church ten times more beautiful. The church wedding coordinator even asked me for pictures of the wedding so they can use my pictures on their wedding website. They said that they held many weddings at the church but this was THE best they have ever seen, thanks to the flowers. My bouquet was also very, very beautiful. It was the perfect colors and flowers and size. In fact, it was so beautiful that one of the guests took it without my permission, which still makes me so sad.... While I was planning I also found out that my other friend who got married in December of last year had hired Tracy as well. And she had said that hiring Tracy was the only thing in her wedding that she felt was actually worth the money that she spent. If you are planning a wedding, you should definitely go to La Fleur by Tracy. She will definitely satisfy you and do an even better job than you ask for. I hope this review helps. read more

We met a few times: I showed her pictures of what I wanted and we had several discussions on what we should have and what we can skimp out on.. And the wedding and reception room looked amazing!! She was also extremely helpful with getting our fire permit as well. Her prices are very reasonable as well. For the people complaining about prices, I don't mean to be judgmental, but they must really be cheap. I've been to several upscale florists and to get the same type of floral arrangement that you get Tracy, you usually get a quote that's 2-3x her price. I paid for an upgraded premium bouquet on Valentine's Day and my wife had to stay 30 minutes after she was supposed to leave work to wait for the delivery -- this was after I had called Tracy twice asking where the delivery was. Her only offer was to give me "extra flowers" the next time I placed an order, and I let her know there would be no "next time." She should've refunded the purchase.
