Stalks and Blooms - Gorgeous flowers for a friend... I got to keep them for a night or two - Florists Near Me - Long Beach, California

This review is long overdue, but I cannot recommend this florist enough. Raymond made the most gorgeous floral arrangements and bouquets for my wedding day, and added beautiful fresh florals to our cake. A year later my family still talks about them. Raymond spent an hour on the phone with me going through my entire Pinterest board to understand my vision. He then sent me ideas and helped me narrow down exactly what I liked in each photo and which flowers would fit best. His floral arrangements elevated our entire wedding and were show stoppers. It felt like a scene from Bridgerton. I wanted sunset colors, with sunset roses and wow did he deliver. If you are looking for a kind, reliable, and true master of florals, look no further than Raymond. 10/10 in every way. Thank you Raymond for the beautiful work you did. Truly such a highlight on our special day. read more

Raymond was able to create a beautiful memorial arrangement to honor my Grandmother. He understood our vision and listened to what flowers we DID NOT want to include in the design (This order was completed by phone) The colors and selection of flowers- roses, peonies, orchids etc..were on point and modern. The green anthuriums were a nice touch. There were a couple of hiccups along the way but Raymond took FULL responsibility and made things right!! Pleasure to work with him Glad to welcome an innovative and creative Florist to Long Beach!! read more

I loved my special Valentine's bouquet delivered to my front door this past year. It had red roses and gorgeous lilies.

The roses were fresh, beautiful and perfect, absolutely amazing! Raymond was such a pleasure to work with, especially on such short notice. He listened to what I wanted, very knowledgeable and he nailed it dead on. He surpassed my expectations. He goes above and beyond during the creative arrangement process, enjoying every moment. The arrangement blew my girlfriend away and the Roses was truly magnificent. Raymond creates unique and original arrangements showing his love of the art in his work. I ordered flowers for my mothers birthday and I am always nervous to order online since it's hit or miss. I received a call from Raymond asking me questions to ensure I was satisfied before proceeding to deliver them. That was very much appreciated. Raymond went above and beyond to make sure the flowers were beautiful, which they were. I am extremely satisfied with the arrangement AND most importantly the customer service. I will ONLY be ordering from Stalks and Blooms Florist from now on even if I have to physically pick them up if delivery is too far. Thank you Raymond!!! read more

What a gem of a place! Raymond is knowledgeable, passionate about his work, very friendly and created a lovely bouquet for me today. I usually buy two floral arrangements a week for my home, and generally get them from Vons or Trader Joe's etc, but I will be coming here exclusively from now on. I gave him a budget and he made a perfect arrangement for me while I waited - he asked what flowers I'd like to highlight and chose beautiful complimentary stalks and blooms (I guess that's where the name came from) My second bouquet was of simple Irises which are gorgeously stand alone. I will definitely be a regular here as I love to support small local businesses and this place exceeded my every expectation. read more

Horrible Mother's Day experience. They promised to deliver the already late flowers 3 days later and still failed to meet the promise. Not to mention the bouquet that was over $100 was so small. They "couldn't" refund me so i had to keep that sad bouquet that my mom never got for Mother's Day read more

Flowers arrangements for tables were done very well and completed on time. Made the birthday celebration a special occasion.

My husband first used Stalks and blooms during the pandemic. All the bouquets are beautiful and last a long time. Sent an email to the owner expressing our disappointment. Miguel was so apologetic when we shared the bouquet had died after 5 days, usually they last 10. He had a new replacement bouquet arranged for us the next day. Just as beautiful as the original. If you live in or near Long Beach you can't go wrong with this florist. read more

I absolutely adore this place! I went to Allen's earlier because I enjoy picking the specific flowers that go into the bouquet I'm making. Their flowers weren't interesting to me that day, so I found this place! I was looking for a wedding bouquet as a trial run. They were so sweet, worked with my budget, and let me pick every detail. Best of all, they are quick and have quality products! I would definitely recommend this place for their service alone. read more

Outstanding company to work with. I live in Washington state and needed flowers for a funeral that I could not attend. The website was incredibly easy to maneuver and make a purchase. But what was an outstanding piece of service was when Raymond called me and explained an omission I made. He made it good resulting in a beautiful arrangement. In addition, he emailed me with a picture of the arrangement and when it was delivered to the services as I instructed. Outstanding service. Will recommend this company to anyone who is looking for arrangements or flowers. read more

There's not a lot to say, really. A coworker, who happens to be a dear friend, suffered a death in her family over the weekend. She's not a "white flower" sort of woman, nor was her very French, larger than life grandmother, so I was looking for exactly the right arrangement for her. I never use those online sites, but instead search for a local, highly rated florist, and quickly found Stalks and Blooms. I thought about calling for a custom, but then saw [a version of this] in their gallery, and so I placed the order via their site at 8:30a. By 10:30a, it was delivered. This is what she received. It was absolutely perfect, not only for her but in general, and this is my new go-to florist. When she didn't immediately send a photo, I worried. I need not have; it FAR exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. Amazing quality, absolutely stunning eye. read more

And she said..."THEY'RE HONESTLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS I'VE EVER RECEIVED." Found the shop on yelp cause it's close to where my girlfriend works. Called around 9:30 asking for same day delivery. Richard, the owner, walked me through what flowers/colors/tone I wanted, and recommended some things based on the message I wanted to convey. After a seamless 10 minute phone call the order was placed, and within 2.5 hours I received a photo of the arrangement from Richard. Then about 1:00, said girlfriend messaged me every heart emoji there is about how the flowers caused quite the stir at work. If you need something special for that special someone, come here and let them work their magic! Thanks Richard & Co.! read more

I had asked for some recommendations on a good florist and I was referred to this place . I was beyond pleased with how the flower arrangements turned out for the memorial service . They were done so beautifully and with class. I had met the designers/owners Miguel and Richard and shown them some pics of what I wanted . They obviously came through with creating such exquisite floral arrangements that even moved those family members in mourning with a smile of happiness and gratitude. A heartfelt thank you to Miguel and RIchard for the care of making this special day look beautiful with these floral arrangements. Everyone loved them . Stalks and Blooms ALWAYS comes through. My most recent purchase was a floral arrangement for a loved ones birthday. Initial impression: great service, motivated, pleasant, intelligent, knowledgeable, reasonable prices. They were the fourth florist I spoke with in Long Beach, looking for an expensive thank-you arrangement for a client. The first three florists didn't listen, didn't care, and didn't understand. Miguel listened, cared, and understood, and it was a pleasure to deal with him. I'll update following delivery. read more
