Even though I've been a fan of Bixby Petals for a long while, this review is inspired by the amazing customer service I recently received from the most kind, patient, and helpful staff. I called in with an unusual request. I made a purchase for a bouquet 3 months prior for a production I'm working on. As I was putting together my expense report for reimbursements, I realized I had misplaced my receipt for the bouquet. So I called in to inquire if it was at all possible to resend a receipt for a purchase I made 3 months prior. The staff person who answered was more than willing to help, but since my memory didn't remember all the details right away, they were unable to find the transaction. But as pieces of my memory started to come together, I called back two more times to provide additional info. I was nervous about interrupting their day with such an unusual request but staff continued to be incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. After my 3rd call and still no sign of a transaction, I figured 3 strikes I'm out. But then I received a text from Bixby Petals asking for one more piece of information. Next thing I know, they texted me my receipt! And also offered to email a copy too! This level of service is super above and beyond. I'm incredibly grateful! Now let's talk about the beautiful flowers... love, love, LOVE them! They offer premade $5, $10, and $20 bouquets, which are nice for a quick gift. They can customize too. I purchased my first bouquet a couple of years ago, before they had opened their store. They had a flower bar at a fundraising event for the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association. I love walking in here during First Fridays. They often have a photobooth. And sometimes they have a special item to purchase. Back in December, I bought a cute headband that they custom-created with holiday wreath branches. I'm a big BIG fan of Bixby Petals! Beautiful flowers and amazing customer service. Choose to get our baby's first birthday balloon bouquet from the flower shop over Dollar Tree. By the time we got around to staging half of the balloon bouquet was deflated. Instantly I knew something like this would happen because when we were at the shop we felt rushed. Luckily we were able to salvage the balloon bouquet by attaching the deflated balloons to the inflated ones. A few weeks ago, I met the florists from Long Beach Flowers at a yelp event at the Ebell. At the event, the florists shared with me about their location in Bixby Knolls and I'm so glad that I checked it out! Bixby Petals is located on Atlantic in Bixby Knolls. They have bouquets for $5, $10, and $20 that are premade; however, you could also pre-order bouquets with your preferred colors in these pricing categories. Despite the pricing, the value and quality are high, and their customer service is exceptional! I came by today and got a $5 "just because" bouquet for my wife as she was having a bad day. My wife definitely appreciated it, and it definitely brought her joy that way exceeded what I spent here. I discussed with their team about potentially making several $5 bouquets for a group order/event and they stated that they would be able to accommodate this type of order if we gave them 72-hour notice. On top of this, even for this cheapest price tier, they still offered some customizations of color! I'm now a fan of this store and I'll definitely be back to buy arrangements in other price tiers!
