I ordered sympathy flowers to be delivered to my friend out in the Lakewood, Long Beach area, and this place delivered. I ordered the evening before and before noon, the flowers had already made it to my friends place. The flowers came out to just under $100 including delivery and tip and in my opinion I thought it was well worth it to bring a little bit of a smile to my friends face during a challenging time. The flowers came out beautiful, and she was really happy with it. I would overall recommend this shop for anybody looking for flowers out in the 562 area. read more

We needed a custom bouquet to gift to a retiring athlete for an evening event and we were able to get just that in about 10 mins. When we walked in, there was no wait and the lady helping us was so eager to help us create something perfect. We told her the colors needed and a price range and she went to work constructing something great for us. Ordered an orchid to be delivered for a special occasion. Opted to order through a florist so it would be elevated & not the usual grocery store orchid, which are fine, but not always very fancy. Description says it will "arrive in a chic cube planter", it did not. Also says it will arrive "with beautiful accents", the online photo shows moss & ivy. Nothing was added. I needed a small cheap bouquet to give to a client. I asked my co-workers where a nearby floor shop was amd they directed me to Conroy's. I didn't know it was going to a Conroy's because I don't like big flower shops. I don't think that they were good with customer service and prefer the small ones. I worried conroys wouldn't make me a bouquet upon request and only show me what's on the floor. however, I was there on Wednesday night and Dora Help me. I just said I only wanted to spend $15 and she made a beautiful bouquet for me and very quickly cause I was on short notice. I will definitely be back. read more

I generally prefer to shop at non-chain florists to support small business but was driving by and needed some flowers for a friend. They had what I consider a small selection of prearranged bouquets (not in vases) that were two price levels - $19.99 or & I think 59.99. (DISCLAIMER: I didn't spend a ton of time searching - there could have been others in the cooler that I didn't see.) I chose a simple but pretty bouquet for $19.99 and went to the card rack in the center of the store. I read a few cards and noticed my fingers were now covered in dirt/dust. The cards were all dirty, which I completely understand why - but the employees should manage that by wiping them off once in awhile. I brought it up and a kind employee got me a damp paper towel to clean my hands. I ended up with a card that came from manufacturer enclosed in a protective plastic cover, the employee added a pretty ribbon to the bouquet, and my friend loved the flowers! read more

I came here last minute on August of 2024 to get flowers for my wife for our 10 year anniversary and the service was amazing. The two lady's here helped me tremendously and even showed me some online examples of some flower arrangements they can make. I ended up picking a display from their website onscreen and when I came later after work to pick them up they looked amazing! Such a beautiful arrangement they made for me that even looked better than what was on screen. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Great customer service! Hey look, you can go to Costco or these other stores and pick up a quick bouquet, but it's not as nice as the people that make them. Dora, the florist is VERY NICE and made beautiful suggestions or selections for the appropriate occasion. The flowers are always fresh and cooled. I stopped by a little over a week ago to get my friend some flowers. When I arrived, Dora's bright aura took over the entire room. A few moments prior, I felt this gravitational pull towards her flower shop, and it was then that I knew why. She was just what I needed. She instantly provided such a safe space. We were both sharing our personal life in no time. I expressed to her I was experiencing a heartbreak, and was going to get myself flowers as well in order to cheer myself up. She instantly smiled and said, "that's self love!" And wanted to create something beautiful for me. Not only did she create two beautiful bouquets for me, but she threw in several stems and a vase for me at no charge. She also shared with me advice on how to prolong the length of flowers, after I expressed to her my love for roses but have been reluctant in buying them lately because they never last long. I must have been there at least 30 minutes, just talking to her and enjoying her company while she simultaneously created me two beautiful bouquets. When I left her shop, I called my mom instantly and told her about my experience with tears of joy streaming down my face. Right when I was giving up on humanity, her kindness revealed to me that good people do exist. Dora was like an angel. I will never go to another flower shop solely because of her. If you are looking for beautiful flowers that last, or perhaps just want to browse and have someone to talk to, ask for Dora. I can promise you that she will instantly brighten your day. P.S. It's been a week and a half later, and Dora's advice to help preserve flowers worked! My flowers are still alive and continue to brighten my day, each day. read more

Slim pickins here and rather overpriced. Bought a pre-made bundle and had them cut down the bouquet for a smaller vase. All they did was cut the stems, stick it in the vase, and add water. I asked for a box and rather than the nice one you'd typically get, they grabbed a small cardboard box and beat it down to carry the vase. Super classy.... Not. Complimentary name cards is nice, but not having any working sharpies to write with was a bust. 2 stars bc of the convenience and immediate assistance. This will be the last time I order from Conroy's Long Beach. I called Friday 8/27 at 4pm and spoke with Dora, who, despite me knowing exactly what I wanted and having every bit of information ready for her, still took far too long to process my order. She did a poor job connecting with me and demonstrated a lackluster ability to take care of my order. Her professionalism and ability were both nonexistent and I left the conversation feeling as though I was not in the most capable of hands. She did not understand my email address, yet did not confirm the spelling. Sure enough, she spelled it wrong, leading me to call her back. Once I saw my card message, I noticed numerous grammatical errors (a complete and utter disregard for professionalism and care). Dora was apparently not trained to read things back to the customer to verify correct details, which I am not a fan of. She also spelled my name wrong at first, further demonstrating a disconnect with the consumer base. Dora mentioned multiple times both that their delivery drivers do not work well with the shop employees, and that the shop's computer system is very unreliable. These are not details that, as a patron, I want to hear. It is indicative that management has work to do to improve their business, as well as customer/employee relations. Dora told me that their driver would not show up on time to deliver my flowers before 10 am, and made no effort to meet my needs. When I asked for verification that the delivery would be completed the day before, I got a "No" from Dora, who said verification would come in the form of "either the driver leaves them there or we fire him". I felt extremely unsettled being spoken to this way, and subsequently had to call back to cancel my order. Dora is one of the least professional, and most inept customer service employees who I have ever dealt with, and as long as the owners of this shop entrust workers with her capabilities to service the public, then I will not be able to recommend this shop to anyone. read more

SCAMMED, SWINDLED and BAMBOOZLED... Unprofessional and inept! The wrong flowers were delivered on Valentine's day plus some were broken. The company was contacted and pictures were sent, a refund was requested because it is now after the fact. They decide they were going to make things right rather than issuing a refund and deliver the correct bouquet. They said in the moring for sure...No one showed up, we called around 2pm and spoke with a representative, representative said she would contact the store...we explained no one was at home anymore to receive the flowers because they said they would deliver "first thing" in the morning, waited all morning and we are tired of the games and want a refund...Conroy's called us back and said they couldn't find the address though they had no issues with finding the address the day before. Moreover, we made it very clear no one is at home and do not need the flowers anymore, these arses decided to leave the flowers on the door step around 2:54pm to make an insult to injury the bouquet is notting near what we ordered and the flowers and leaves are old, decaying and yellowing.smh I am extremely disgusted! According to the reviews we were not the only ones scammed by Conroy's flower shop! Never again! And yes, we still want a refund! read more
