I was in the area and needed to get a quick bouquet of flowers for a birthday event later on in the evening and I saw some great reviews for this shop as well as the fact that they have pre-crafted bouquets. It's located on a busy street and I was too chicken to turn on from the other side, so I did a massively gross U-turn but was able to make it. There's plenty of parking in the private lot. Love the decor of the shop, lots of greenery and plants right when you walk in. They still had some holiday set ups from Christmas that had passed. So it's not just a flower shop, great for plant shopping as well. The bouquets and flowers are in an entirely different section of the shop. There's also a walk in to see the vase bouquet set ups. Always ask a staff if you need something and not just grab it, but during my visit there, I was made sure that I was being assisted at every point. There's lots of add-ons you can put on your bouquet too from balloons, to signs, plushies, and much more. I think my only qualm was that I wasn't able to find exactly what I wanted or something that exactly caught my eye. Theming was very similar color toned and if I wanted red roses they were either all red roses or mixed with sunflowers or mix matched with red and white. I wanted a mix of red and pink, but I get that beggars can't be choosers and it might not have been the best choice based on color theory or flower language (I'm not sure) and I also came later in the day. Either way, I found something that worked and supplemented it later when I got home. Easy check out. Not a bad place to grab some flowers.
Very cute flower shop in Bellflower! Really easy to find. They have a variety of things in this shop. Lots of flowers and gifts. There's two sides to it. I was greeted by a young lady who helped me right away. I bought a fresh eucalyptus bunch & it smells amazing. They also have beautiful sunflowers for a great price. I don't live in the area but I would definitely recommend this shop.
When I visit my daughter I can hardly wait to go to Marlene's. The flowers are always fresh and beautiful. They have the most beautiful bouquets that are handcrafted uniquely with love. Plus, they fit everyone's budget. I highly recommend them for all of your flower and plant needs. Plus, they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Marlene and I will be seeing you in the future ‼
The girl who help me looked like she was 16 years old, but she was knowledgeable and helpful. I got a premium bouquet for my wife to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It came out pretty amazing. I also purchased a large vase to contain the bouquet. They helped me trim the the bouquet and fit it inside the vase.
Marlene's flowers did such a beautiful job with creating spring floral centerpieces for my moms 60th birthday party. Several guest thought they were fake flowers because they look beyond fresh, vibrant and beautiful. I would a million percent recommend Marlene's flowers for any occasion! Thank you for your service
The store is super organized and easy to find. They have a shared parking lot but they do have designated parking for customers only. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you're in a jungle of plants. They have a huge selection of everything you might need from house plants, vases, bouquets, cards, etc. The plants are separated from the flowers in a separate room. Staff is friendly. Pricing is fair. They accept all cards except American Express.
Went in to show a couple of pictures of some wedding bouquets to see what they can make at their shop. When the order was placed, I chose the one that they said they could make identical to the picture, since the others that were shown, the flowers were not in season. I pick it up, when I get home I notice that the bouquet is missing some greenery(seeded u). I call them and they give me some BS excuse that the greenery is not in season and that's why they didn't add it. I ask why they didn't call to let us know this when they were making the bouquet, and I get an IDK IM SORRY! It's a damn wedding bouquet and they just don't care! They offer to have me drive back to add some different greener, or take it back for a refund. The wedding is TOMORROW and they just have no care in the world. It would've been nice to get the call and have been offered the alternative greenery when they realized they couldn't add it. So much for supporting small businesses. I guess once they started making flower arrangements for influencers they just stopped caring about simple customer service to regular customers. DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR WEDDING BOUQET UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED!
What a cute flower shop filled with not only flowers but plants, toppers and cute stuffed animals! I've passed this place so many times and have been wanting to come and finally got the chance to. My friend's daughter was having a dance recital and I wanted to get her flowers after her performance. There was plenty of parking. They had so many selections of bouquets and different sizes. I chose a $5 bouquet which was the perfect size and added a $5 Bluey topper which I knew she would love. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back to check their plant selection next time!
I've been a loyal customer of Marlene's for years. I've bought flowers for myself, others, and even a funeral this past summer, and I always spoke very highly of their work. Because of this, I wanted to give them my business for my cousin's funeral service recently, after she passed away unexpectedly and far too soon. Unfortunately, the experience I had this time was extremely disappointing. While one employee was kind, patient, and tried to help me navigate a last-minute funeral order, another staff member abruptly came to the counter, spoke loudly at me in front of other customers, and repeatedly talked over me before I could finish a single sentence. I was taken aback, especially because I had been calm, understanding of their limitations, and grateful for the help I was receiving. What stood out the most was the complete lack of empathy. At no point during the entire interaction did anyone acknowledge my loss or offer a simple "I'm sorry for your loss," which is something I would expect when placing funeral flowers. The interaction felt transactional and dismissive, which was especially hard in the middle of grieving and trying to make arrangements for my family. I attempted to resolve the situation privately and later reached out through Instagram to speak with someone else, but the same employee responded there as well. The reply felt dismissive and didn't address the concerns I was trying to communicate. Because of this, I ultimately canceled my order and decided I can no longer support this business. This is disappointing to say, considering how much I've supported and recommended them over the years. While not all customers are right, a customer's experience matters just as much as the quality of the flowers. The way a business treats its customers speaks volumes about its values and how much it truly appreciates the people who support it.
Came in to look for some flowers for my sister's birthday and Marlene's still has the best flowers and the best prices! So much quality and so many flower arrangement options, plants, stuffed animals and so much in this cute flower shop! My sister loves Hello Kitty and I was able to find everything I needed! Highly recommend!
I have always seen pictures of the beautiful arrangements this shop offers, so when deciding on a vendor for wedding flowers I reached out to Marlene's. The process was seamless and simple. I provided the shop with inspiration pictures for a wedding bouquet, center pieces and an arch. The employee who assisted me provided thoughtful suggestions and had concise answers to any questions I had. When I decided to move forward with the order I was shocked by how reasonable the prices were. To top off the excellent service, I had initially decided to have a family member pickup the arrangements on the day of the wedding. The morning of I received a call from one of the employees stating that due to the predicted warm weather - they wanted ensure the arrangements were as fresh and protected from the elements as possible and stated they'd happily deliver our arrangements at no extra charge. HOW INCREDIBLY THOUGHTFUL! The arrangements were everything I asked for and more. I am so happy and I could not be more satisfied with my choice in flower shop to entrust my ideas with on the most special day. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Marlene and all of her wonderful employees! You have made a life long customer out of me.
My husband got me a beautiful pink bouquet from Marlene Flower Shop ahead of Valentine's Day. The flowers were gorgeous and smelled amazing! I loved staring at them all week!

6/20/26 In all the years I've passed by this flower shop, I never knew just how big or deep it goes in this location--plus, the parking is just as huge. If I recall, it started out as one small shop which to this huge space! They have so many gifting ideas from fresh flowers & arrangements to live plants, merch like T-shirts, vases, pots, etc. Staff are friendly & helpful. My dad recently picked up a bouquet for an offends for my dearly departed grandmother. Tomorrow is her heavenly birthday, she would've been 106 years old. In comparison to other places like florists, farmers markets, the Los Angeles Flower Mart, supermarkets like Ralph's or Pavilions, the prices here are on the higher end. It looks like this shop has continued to serve its community well that it has grown in size. Today was a good example, it was very busy with many customers patronizing the business. I don't know how more people aren't leaving horrible reviews. My wonderful husband bought some flowers to surprise me for Mother's Day but as he was telling me how he described them, they are nothing close to what he requested/ordered. The bouquet was pretty for maybe a $25 bouquet you could find at the market but for over $100?! Ridiculous!!! And they made him wait for 25 minutes even though he had placed order a day prior. Wish I would've taken a before picture but this is AFTER I trimmed them and tried opening them up, which made them look 2x better. Which you can see most of the roses are missing most of their petals as if they just threw together whatever they had. If I would've known, I would've refused to pay. Wish I could request our money back. Anyways, besides their horrible job, thank you my lovely husband for thinking of me and buying me flowers I will always love them coming from you read more

Hey everyone, quick tip: asking your wife or girlfriend to be your valentine with flowers from Marlene's is a guaranteed heck yes. and OF COURSE, you still have to ask your significant other to be your valentine. Don't be lazy now. I've been getting flowers from here for my wife, and it never fails to bring a smile to her face. The flowers are fresh, the bouquets look stunning, and I really love the quirky toppers they offer. Prices? Totally reasonable for the quality. I usually pick from their ready-made displays, and whoever's behind the bouquet designs is absolutely nailing it. The folks at Marlene's are always super helpful and friendly - I've never had anything less than a great experience. There's always enough parking, and the shop has the exact vibe you'd want from a flower place. read more

AMAZING!!!! Came to Marlene's Flowers to inquire about centerpieces for my daughters quinceanera. Met with Marlene and she came up with an arrangement based on what I was looking for. Day of event came and OMG all centerpieces were so Beautiful! Marlene's Flowers went above and beyond and made my daughter's day 100x more beautiful. read more

I came here because of popularity, but I'm disappointed, I bought two smaller bouquets and the same day I put them on a vase we took them off the paper and they were rotten already, I only took pictures of one of the bouquets because I had already gifted the other one but I saw them put it on a vase as well and looked rotten as well. Very disappointed with their flowers and expected better, if I knew I would be bought from som of the street vendors! Only giving two stars because it was pretty busy but the customer service was good the girls working there were nice read more

I absolutely LOVE this flower shop. I've been extremely satisfied with every purchase I've made. The staff is always super helpful & attentive. I love how affordable each arrangement is. Happy Valentine's everyone! Been coming to Marlene's for flower for my girlfriend for about 2 years now and they stay consistent! They are always kind and ask me if everything is fine when I look around and even recommend combinations of flowers!
