I stopped in last Sunday to order a few small bouquets. The woman working was quick to offer suggestions and help me make a selection. She said that since it was the end of the week, the selection was less than usual; however, they still had plenty of flowers and they way she but them together turned out beautifully. The price was also very reasonable: $8 for a 3 rose bouquet with baby's breath--wrapped up specially with a mini card. I appreciate Friendly Flowers quick and friendly service, nice selection of flowers, and great value. I will go back again the next time I buy flowers. read more

These flowers are 2 weeks old! I purchased these flowers for my mom on February 13th for Valentine's Day. These flowers only get more and more beautiful. They have outlived all the other flowers my mom was given. Friendly flowers took my last minute order for 2 half dozen rose bouquets. I placed my order Feb. 12 @ 6pm and they were ready for me the next morning at 10am. Couldn't be happier or more grateful! read more

I chose this florist based on the yelp reviews and I'm really happy I did. The young woman working there was definitely friendly and super talented! I went in the day before to talk to her about what I wanted and to look at ribbon choices, and flowers and, when I came back the next day, she'd made up the perfect "bridal dress shopping bouquet." I've been buying flowers for my wife since before covid. During covid this place was the only place that would deliver to hospitals, where my wife works. They have quality products and are very accommodating. Recently, I called at 9:30 am and needed a delivery the same day by 12:30pm They told me their driver was out on deliveries and couldn't. I changed delivery for 2:30pm. They did the impossible and my wife got her flowers at 12:20. It was a surprise to me because i didnt expect the delivery until later. This is a place that cares about their customers! You might find places slightly cheaper, but to me, Customer service is worth the higher rate read more

I just love it when businesses live up to their name SO well. My office building has a coffee shop called Nice Coffee, where every barista is beyond nice. I'm now adding Friendly Flowers to that list, as this was the friendliest experience I could have asked for and they totally deserve to be known as the friendliest florists. I was attending a graduation party in Downey, and my procrastinating self didn't order or pick up flowers beforehand. I wasn't familiar with the area, and Yelp led me here. There is a small, convenient parking lot behind the strip mall. The woman working in the shop told me that they didn't have any premade arrangements, but she could put one together on the spot. She asked me to pick a vase, my budget and any colors or flowers I liked, then the neatly and quickly arranged a beautiful masterpiece while chatting with me. I was out the door in minutes, and VERY happy with the gift I was able to give to the graduate. FF also does weddings and events, and I took a card just in case it would work out for my upcoming wedding because I had such a positive impression. Amazing experience with kind, prompt, helpful service and a beautiful product. I hope to go back if I'm ever in the area again! read more

I called at 5pm and felt silly asking if they would be able to deliver same day last minute flowers for my aunts bday . I totally forgot today was her birthday . Maria answered the phone so polite and happy to help me. I told her my budget plus included a tip gave her the delivery address a ccard and a quick note for my aunt. Literally took a 4min phone call. I honestly regret not asking the girl who helped me her name but loved her work. Everything here is made to order unless you preorder so it's nice because you can tell her what it is you're looking for and she will make your vision a reality. She was very patient with me which I appreciate because it not too flower savvy. I gave her the colors I wanted, and she made a beautiful arrangement for me. I don't have a picture of the flowers I got from here but they were really good quality. The lady who runs the shop is incredibly nice as well, over the phone, and in person as well. My only complaint here is that as nice as they were I spent 112 on 2 dozen roses and the lady hadn't said the price over the phone nor in person. Naive of me for sure not to ask about the price but she just kinda went on with the transaction then charged me. So my only maybe piece of advice is ask for price before you go. read more

Maria is amazing!!! I called her at 5:51pm today from the Bay Area urgently looking for a florist to deliver flowers to my friend same day!! I recently bought a rose arrangement from here and was very happy and satisfied with my purchase. The arrangement was bigger than expected and very well made. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do not open at the time they say they will. On the door and on google, it says they open at 9am. I got there at 9am and had to wait about 30 min for the staff to arrive. This can be very inconvenient for someone who needs to get there's flowers ASAP. Overall, I would order another arrangement from Friendly Flowers but wish they would follow their schedule or at least update it so others won't be confused. read more

I discovered this florist by chance on my way to an awards ceremony. Walking in, there aren't displayed arrangements to pick from, as compared to a grocery store entrance, so I just asked if I can get an arraignment made for my mom. No selection of flowers. I wanted to get a large bouquet of flowers in a nice glass container. However , there wasn't any flowers just a small bucket in the flower fridge the only containers I saw were extremely expensive for just one container was $45.00 + and up. My original review did not include any personal insults, it only described my experience as a paying customer. I also want to clarify the payment arrangement. I was given two options directly by the business owner: 1. Pay through the invoice link sent to me, or 2. Pay $100 cash at pickup. The person who accompanied me at the time can also confirm this. I did not request a discount or avoid payment. If that were the case, I would have accepted the refund that was offered. I did not. My concern was communication and consistency with what was initially discussed. The TikTok video claims I "decided" to pay at pickup. However, the email shows that this arrangement was acknowledged by the business owner herself. Customers are allowed to leave honest reviews about their experiences without being insulted or discussed publicly on social media afterward. Screenshots are attached for context. I was also informed that a TikTok video was made discussing me personally (see screenshots). In that video, the business owner refers to me as "chewing like a f****** cow" and calls me an "entitled brat." My original review did not include any personal insults, it only described my experience as a paying customer. I also want to clarify the payment arrangement. I was given two options directly by the business owner: 1. Pay through the invoice link sent to me, or 2. Pay $100 cash at pickup. The person who accompanied me at the time can also confirm this. I did not request a discount or avoid payment. If that were the case, I would have accepted the refund that was offered. I did not. My concern was communication and consistency with what was initially discussed. The TikTok video claims I "decided" to pay at pickup. However, the email shows that this arrangement was acknowledged by the business owner herself. Customers are allowed to leave honest reviews about their experiences without being insulted or discussed publicly on social media afterward. Screenshots are attached for context. I will not be engaging further on this matter.

When customers arrive for pick-up, the staff is confused and scrambling sometimes unwilling and/or unable to fulfill the order and taking no accountability. The operations seem messy and irresponsible. They do not deliver what they commit to, and change product and price last minute at will when you arrive to pick up your order. Personally, I placed an order with the daughter, who then stated she was out of product when I arrived for pick-up. The mom advised she'd never received the order and was out of flowers for the day and vases for the day. They then proceeded to prepare a make shift product that was far from what I'd asked, and raised prices from what we'd agreed to. Upon discussing with other people, it seems this happens often at this location. I will be placing a formal complaint with the better business bureau.
