These flowers are 2 weeks old! I purchased these flowers for my mom on February 13th for Valentine's Day. These flowers only get more and more beautiful. They have outlived all the other flowers my mom was given. Friendly flowers took my last minute order for 2 half dozen rose bouquets. I placed my order Feb. 12 @ 6pm and they were ready for me the next morning at 10am. Couldn't be happier or more grateful!

I chose this florist based on the yelp reviews and I'm really happy I did. The young woman working there was definitely friendly and super talented! I went in the day before to talk to her about what I wanted and to look at ribbon choices, and flowers and, when I came back the next day, she'd made up the perfect "bridal dress shopping bouquet." The bride-to-be loved it! Good price for really fresh flowers, too.

My boyfriend ordered me flowers from here and they are BEAUTIFUL! He was helped by a very kind florist named Maria :) He showed her reference photos and she matched them perfectly and look exactly like the photos. The flowers are so fresh & smell amazing.

I called at 5pm and felt silly asking if they would be able to deliver same day last minute flowers for my aunts bday . I totally forgot today was her birthday . Maria was super helpful when i walked into her shop. I ordered 6 center pieces, bouquet and boutonniere. I had images for inspiration and we took it from there! She made it easy and accommodated when i called 2 days before delivery to change delivery to night before The flowers filled our house with beautiful scent and helped create a wonderful ambiance for our intimate lunch! read more

I ordered a same day delivery bouquet for my mom's birthday and I'm so happy and amazed at how beautiful and full the arrangement is. I asked for sunflowers to be included and they are beyond beautiful. My mom loved her flowers and so did the rest of the family. The service and delivery was exceptional and very prompt. Friendly flowers did a great job of helping me with a bouquet of flowers for a vigil I was going to attend. I was kind of in a rush but Maria did a great job and went ahead and made a great recommendation of the white flowers and I was in and out in 10-15 minutes. First of all, Maria you are the best!!! Friendly flowers is my husband's favorite flower shop to get me flowers. He has always recommended this shop to others and now I understand why. I went in for a sympathy arrangement for a coworker, didn't really have a picture of what I wanted. All Maria worked off of was my request for sunflowers and a rustic/country theme. All I can say is that it was beyond what I would have expected and my coworker loved it! I am all about the details and she delivered. From the wood basket/vase to the inclusion of the bluebonnet which is Texas state flower (where my coworker is from). If you're looking for the best flower shop and reasonable pricing, Friendly Flowers is the shop for you. 10/10 would most definitely recommend! read more

AMAZING Client care! I needed to have a birthday arrangement delivered next morning, I spoke with Maria and we had ultimately decided on a fresh floral birthday crown to be delivered. I provided the recipients favorite colors and I gave free reign for Maria to design how she thought would look best. DID NOT DISSAPOINT!! Maria was very nice, and very professional. The flowers were on time. The problems were that the roses in the arrangement wilted within two days and never opened, and the yellow filler flower that looked like mustard turned brown the second day. The arrangement arrived with murky water. My friend's house was air conditioned throughout, and she took the delivered flowers inside immediately. She also changed the water daily. Maria told me she would call when the delivery was made; she did not. This for a vase of flowers that cost over 90 dollars. These photos are from the 3rd day and the arrangement was trashed for obvious reasons that day. Would NOT recommend. read more

I would definitely recommend supporting this local business... Nancy is absolutely wonderful. I called on a Saturday morning for same day delivery, and she was super accommodating... I think it was crafted and delivered in less than 2 hours! I knew I wanted a flower cake, and she asked me what colors I would like... I told her mostly yellow with some white and a touch of pink. When my mom sent me the pictures of her birthday flower cake, I was amazed... it was exactly how I imagined it. I was looking for a florist near the address I needed to send flowers to and came across this place on yelp and I must say... This place is does an amazing job! I needed to order flowers last minute for a family member and called right before closing time. When I called Maria was beyond helpful with a ton of ideas. Due to my crazy work schedule, we did everything over the phone and text. Which I thought was awesome because no one does that! She texted me pictures of different arrangements. When I found an arrangement that I wanted. She arranged it and sent me a picture of the final product. It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted!!! They delivered the flowers the next day at 10am! At first the lady on the phone sounded very nice and was very helpful. I had arrangements to send flowers to my wife's job. Told her ill call back in 10 mins once I go on break to finalize and give payment. Called back exactly in 10 mins and now this shop has shut their phones off completely. I'm assuming they're busy because it's Valentine's day but she should have explained that to me before we hung up. I get it you're busy but does that mean you completely shine on your customers and ignore their calls? Very unprofessional! As a business owner myself I would never do that to any of my customers and knowing that this day would more than likely be my busiest day of the year I would have accommodated with extra workers and rental delivery vans so I can seize business from other shops that also can't handle the load of Valentine's day. I'm sure this place has a nice shop but from a customer service standpoint you guys are horrible and to need to learn how to run your business better. read more

Don't go anywhere but Friendly Flowers if you want the most beautiful arrangements with the best customer service! I wanted to place a special order for my mom for Mothers' Day. First of all, because of the ongoing quarantine measures during COVID-19 and it being Mothers' Day, I couldn't even get someone to answer the phone at two different shops. Another shop told me that they could not make a custom order and I would have to order an arrangements from their website with zero substitutions. I called Maria to see if she could help. She answered the phone right away and was so, so extremely helpful from the beginning. I sent her a photo of the arrangement I had in mind. Maria said she'd try to get the peonies I wanted and to call her in a few days to confirm. The next day Maria texted me and said she had the peonies for my mom's arrangement. We collaborated on what other flowers to include and Maria said she'd text me a photo before delivery. A few hours later she sent me photos of a GORGEOUS arrangement. It was seriously perfect. My mom got it and called me right away. She was absolutely in love with the beautiful flowers and commented that they were so fresh and colorful. My mom also loved the vase Maria used. It looked like a really high end, expensive arrangement. I am so appreciative of Maria going the extra mile for my mom and making my vision a reality. She is so kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I've ordered from this place twice and twice they have NOT DISAPPOINTED. The lady that took my orders, sorry I didn't get her name, is super sweet very attentive and makes sure to describe what she's going to add to the arrangements. She has great customer service and I can tell she really enjoys what she does. The photos of the arrangements are beautiful. I live in Downey, and I passed by the flower shop numerous times. I was looking for flowers for my girlfriend's birthday. I looked for a flower shop with high ratings. I do realize that high ratings on yelp are not always substantial. The friendly Flower shop did not disappoint. I did not want to spend too much on flowers because I don't have the luxury of money. I asked for a floral budget arrangement for a birthday gift. Maria was very friendly, and while we talked, she prepared the flower in the vase. We had a friendly conversation, and in no time, Maria completed beautiful flowers. My girlfriend absolutely loved the flowers. I had a misconception that flowers were very expensive. I will definitely come back again if I need flowers for any occasion. read more

I placed a last minute flower delivery over the phone and Maria was so kind to explain the flower arrangements to me and was able to get my order placed and delivered on time! They even took the time to text me, letting me know that my flowers were delivered. Now that's what I call customer service!! Was here to get an arrangement of living plants/blooming plants for my daughter. The staff was wonderfully helpful (and COVID cautious) and they had beautiful arrangements to choose from. All the flowers were beautiful, fresh and my arrangement was delivered and beautiful. Everything about the shop was inviting -- FILLED WITH FLOWERS! Loved it. This update is regarding the business owner's behavior following my original review…read more After sharing my honest experience as a customer, I began receiving messages on Yelp from individuals connected to or defending this business. I was also informed that a TikTok video was made discussing me personally (see screenshots). In that video, the business owner refers to me as "chewing like a f****** cow" and calls me an "entitled brat." My original review did not include any personal insults, it only described my experience as a paying customer. I also want to clarify the payment arrangement. I was given two options directly by the business owner: 1. Pay through the invoice link sent to me, or 2. Pay $100 cash at pickup. The person who accompanied me at the time can also confirm this. I did not request a discount or avoid payment. If that were the case, I would have accepted the refund that was offered. I did not. My concern was communication and consistency with what was initially discussed. The TikTok video claims I "decided" to pay at pickup. However, the email shows that this arrangement was acknowledged by the business owner herself. Customers are allowed to leave honest reviews about their experiences without being insulted or discussed publicly on social media afterward. Screenshots are attached for context. I will not be engaging further on this matter.

No big deal, but just don't tell me you are if you aren't. I'm sure they were busy due to the holiday, but still. Lastly, I didn't expect the bouquet to look identical to what I chose online, but I felt it definitely wasn't as full, or have as many roses, as the picture. Looked like a lot more filler flowers were used. A little disappointing. (See attached pics). Overall, I might use them again but only if I couldn't find a better option in the area.

When customers arrive for pick-up, the staff is confused and scrambling sometimes unwilling and/or unable to fulfill the order and taking no accountability. The operations seem messy and irresponsible. They do not deliver what they commit to, and change product and price last minute at will when you arrive to pick up your order. Personally, I placed an order with the daughter, who then stated she was out of product when I arrived for pick-up. The mom advised she'd never received the order and was out of flowers for the day and vases for the day. They then proceeded to prepare a make shift product that was far from what I'd asked, and raised prices from what we'd agreed to. Upon discussing with other people, it seems this happens often at this location. I will be placing a formal complaint with the better business bureau.

No big deal, but just don't tell me you are if you aren't. I'm sure they were busy due to the holiday, but still.
