I have never been to the shop but found this place on Yelp because it was in close proximity to the recipient and had a five star review! I was a bit skeptical at first because not many places have five stars with so many reviews...but decided to give it a try. Maria assisted me over the phone and was very courteous and patient with answering all my questions. She even offered a few suggestions but I went back to my original choice. Delivery was an additional $8 but it was delivered right on time and she even offered to send me a picture of the bouquet. My friend and her family loved the bouquet and said it was bigger than the picture. It will be even nicer when the lilies bloom. I would like to congratulate the owner, as well as the staff. Since the moment I called they attended me very well. I let them know I was going to show up at 7:50pm even though they closed at 8:00pm. Yesterday I called asking for pricing and information for flowers for a funeral I knew it was last minute so my first question was what's the latest I can get the order in today so it can be delivered by 9AM this morning and she nicely said in about an hour! I had called a few places and they were all rushing and upset and kept saying "People usually order 2 days in advance or maybe if you would of called in the morning we could help you" so as soon as Nancy gave me her answer I knew they were actually trying to get business and helping me not like the other flower shops in Downey! I explained to her I couldn't make any decisions since my boss was actually purchasing the flowers and she was very nice explained everything to me even texted me some pictures so I could get an idea of what I was getting!
